@@nourishyourcrown Hi Lynn, I live not far from Hamburg. I was thinking about what Dr. Li said about scaring CCA (and others...). But Rob (Perfect Hair Health) beliefs in massaging; and another technique to break up scaring on the scalp. Have you visit his site? What do you think? Thanks, Lyne
I loved this conversation! Great information. Thank you. I’m going to go follow him now. I’m a CCCA survivor and I’m learning more about reducing inflammation in my body and scalp.
Do you mind sharing how long it took for your CCCA to quiet? And what was your regime? I was diagnosed March of this year. They had me oral antibiotics, steroid cream and 6 months of steroid scalp injections. I'm still experiencing hair fall and just looking for it to stop.
Hi @pamelaturner579! It took a few months for the shedding to stop and for the scalp inflammation to stop. In fact, it got worse before it got better. The things that helped: eliminating dairy (lactose intolerant and this helped reduce gut issues), increased anti-inflammatory foods, added supplements (turmeric w/ black pepper, pumpkin seed oil, and spearmint, see the top 5 supplements video for more details), simplified my wash routine (no oils or products on my scalp), and increased exercise. Sleep, hydration, and stress resilience were/are also helpful.
Very informative. I will check out Dr. Li's book because I recently came across a few of his videos on here and really appreciate his straightforward, get-to-the-point style. I'm glad you touched on metabolic health! I wonder how Dr. Li views this in relation to the gut microbiome; maybe to his point, it all goes back to the foods you eat. For example, if someone is holding onto excess weight and experiencing a slowed metabolism, then that's something they could feasibly reverse by bringing in more "abundant" foods, which we also know supports a healthy, diverse microbiome. Ps: I wish doctors were more educated on health vs. just disease. You really can't even have a productive conversation with them because of this disconnect.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! It’s true that different foods can affect people in different ways, and everyone’s body responds uniquely. It’s all part of our individual journey to discover what nourishes and supports us best. Wishing you continued health and well-being!
He’s talking about strawberries and how they’re tart and sweet. Like so how they taste good. I find it rare to actually find decent tasting fruit abundant strawberries are one of those. For the most part strawberries don’t taste right
@@jhssmith2004it’s more about the taste. If I’m eating fresh you’ll notice the taste more.?. If I’m us frozen it’s for a smoothie snd it’s not do easy to tell the taste isn’t do good as there other fruits in smoothies

Hair loss is an inside job certainly. I can agree its 85% internal issues. I am reversing over a decade of severe hair loss using natural foods...
What foods are you eating more of?

Hair loss can also be due to pathogens.
It can be due to hormonal changes unfortunately

24:30 scarring alopecia info
Can you take Serrapeptase or Nattokinase to remove scarring or what about a topical solution?
Another great question! For that one, I would recommend visiting a dermatologist as they are best able to provide treatment options.
Thanks for this information, the bottom line is a person with Alopecia might need a stem cell transplant In addition, dietary changes.

But most of the fruits are GMO' where do one buy organic foods?
Many (not all) grocery stores in the US usually have a section in the fresh fruits and veggies section where they have organic produce.
Take the seeds from those organic fruits and grow them yourself as well^
