The guy in the Himalayan probably needs to start watching some of the old school Evel Knievel jumps 😂

Can you comment a bit more on the body position in the second video jump? Also, second video rider looked like did not grip the bike properly with his legs/boots, right?

In the second clip it looks like if he had a tall windsheild he would have decapitated himself

Do you think the ibex 800 is a good bike who's short and hasn't been riding in many years? It will probably be mostly commuting to work on the highway and doing some road trips with overland camping too. Thanks!

On the first one, was he just practicing straight line skids? On straight line skids, he should have thrown his butt backwards, getting his weight rearwards at the last part when skidding to keep it straighter and more controllable.

His rear wheel slides only on the dirt track part ofvthe 2-spoor. Then the rear wheel hits the middle grass section 'curblike' hence, gets instantly 'stuck' resulting in a slow motion high-side. I do not see the enhanced slide over grass ???

I thought the same thing too at first but if you watch the slo mo carefully he actually starts to high side before he hits the center grass strip.

@@porkshank13 Well well the anti-clockwise slide can only abruptly stop to induce a 'kinda high side' if the rear wheel comes to a sudden stop. The exactly spot is most likely at a point of the higher 'middle embankment'... measured on a balance of probabilities. Or do you reason otherwise?

Why do guys crash these big pigs? Because the bike is huge and heavy and unwieldy.
Who ever said" I would sure like to have the biggest widest heaviest bike possible in the dirt"
Marketing, Chris Birch, KTM pushing big twins, every seller of big twins pushes these huge things as the way forward, if your any kind of man you ride a big bike. These huge bikes can and do break bones.

4 minutes into the video and there is still no teaching--just a lot of words.

Not true. He was quickly saying that the grass was not the best place to try skidding.
