I’ve even recommended your videos to my history teacher, hoping that she’d show the students these videos. Keep up with the amazing work, and I can’t wait for what comes next. 😄

Evil, is out there... for the bear has awoken and hunts the children of the world.
Ukraine...go into your fields, the soil of your home, your crops and rivers,
and light campfires in all places and let Russia your campfires,
Around and beside these campfires, are Her Lady's Royal Guard,
Sent to battle against Russia the destroyer of the world!
Unbroken, and not bound by Russia's, alchemy.
Russia has brought war before the eyes of women and children and, the elderly.
Now, Russia has brought war before the whole world and wants to destroy us all.
Russia, lavished in the gold of the Fool.
As the campfires in Ukraine grown, so too will campfires in Greece, that resting place,
Not of shade no longer, they know who they are.
The campfires of Spain and Italy, Germany and Estonia, Europe and the UK, Iceland
Canada, the States of Aztec, Mayan, and Toltec, South America, Japan and the Islands of New Zealand and Australia.
      WE ARE NATO!
From our roots, that have spread out across the world, a world once isolated, cold.
We grew the Great Tree of Life, by the protected waters of the River, behind the mountains and in the fields of this Earth. The wind has carried us far.
      WE ARE NATO!
We are the Slavs, Germans, Jews, Norse, French and Spanish
We are Gals, Scottish and Irish, Africans, and Hispanic.
We are the Indigenous Peoples and Eskimo, and Muslims.
We have felt the ravages of war, for the last 2,022 years have we felt the Roman Empire whip at our heels, but we waited.
We are the People that the Roman Empire crashed upon, an empire that saw defeat at the feet the Christ, ONE MAN!
For the Great Roman Empire is now us! Christ commands the Roman Legions now!
Where are your great legions, Vladimir! Scattered to the winds, scraps and bloody relics
of your time on the streets when you were younger1!
      WE ARE NATO!
WE ARE UNBROKEN BEFORE THE WORLD!
Send your destroyers unto the world Russia!
Send them and lay level what you can.
Because when your batteries have run out and the nations no longer have troops,
      We will still be here.
Spread out across plains and hills and every mountain to the middle of the Pacific,
The Minute Men, with rifled muskets will still be here and what will you to fight with?
      Rocks and dirt?
And once the Minute Men have used their balls and you think you have the advantage,
Over the ridge, on a Sunny day, while you bask in your glory Russia, the knights who perform at bizarre and restaurants, clad in that oh so ancient armor and valor and heart, will rise to meet you Russia, with a swift stroke of love in each of their hearts!
So come Russia, send your destroyers, but fear the reaping wind of the Roman Empire, reborn, because no one challenges NATO with destroyers and sees the mornin light!
Ukraine, go into your fields and set campfires, let the bear, the world, see who NATO is.
NATO, bathed in blood, water in the wooden cup of Christ.
Armor, struck in the mid night moonlight, red as Mars, entangled like great roots, the tree of life, a darker, blood red. From a Hell that you cannot even conceive or, dare think about, lest you let us in.
For our empire to remain, all of NATO's loyal citizens, must be ready.
We...ARE NATO, the greatest bedtime story, any child can be read while drifting off into sleep.

If 2nd video will end in 476 I hope this channel will at least do some justice to that year not actually being real end of the Roman state.Depends on if channel decide to follow still currently dominantly used labels and concepts or if it would admit that entire "Byzantine" empire concept and terminology is hugely imperfect and badly manipulative.Even many modern scholars dislike(artificially fabricated!) Byzantine concept from these reasons.

you seem to like history a lot. very nice video btw. however, if you want to be historically accurate and avoid falling into the discredited, ahistorical notion that the empire ended in 476, then the you must know that the empire actually fell in 1453 with the fall of the 'new rome' i.e constantnople. an interesting fact you might enjoy is that modern day greeks also refer to themselves as 'romios;' 'ρωμιός', while all the people of the levante, arabs, turks, persians etc call the citizens occupying the lands of what later (medieval era) became know as byzantium, which in reality is the eastern Roman empire, "rum". just some points worth considering. p.s the germanic conquerors of rome proper wanted to appropriate the title of rome for themselves to gain historical legitimacy and be seen as legitimate heirs, and thus attempted to discredit the eastern roman empire by dubbing it byzantium. if you would have asked what people living in the eastern part of southern europe and north africa thought they were, the would definitely have responded without hesitation romans citizens. @@Fireoflearning

I hope there's a part four to 1806 and a part five to 1917. As to pronunciation, it seems the Classical pronunciation is more widespread for people talking about ancient Rome which is appropriate for your video whereas the Ecclesiastical pronunciation with regional inflections is more favored for Latin in legal, scholastic, medieval, and obviously, church contexts. An example of this is "certiorari" where the classicist might say "kair tee or are ee" and the ecclesiastical use would be "chair tsee or are ee" whereas the typical modern use is "sher see or are ee"

Have you ever listened to Mike Duncan's The History of Rome podcast? This video was great but Mike Duncan's HoR section covering just the 7 kings and republic is over 16 hours long and goes into much more depth then this video. Fire of Learning crammed as much as he could into one hour but Duncan doesn't have any time restraints so you get 16x the info covering the exact same period of time. However Fire of learning has gave us some visuals to go with the history while if your lucky you get one static map from Duncan. If you enjoyed this you will also enjoy Mike Duncan's HoR and his podcast is available on UA-cam from uploader of his podcast. I've probably listened to Duncan's podcast of Rome 20x's as I play it every night when I go to bed. Give it a listen.

If any of you enjoyed this and I'm sure you mostly did as it's awesome. I highly recommend Mike Duncan's HoR podcast. The total podcast covers from Romulus to the final Emperor coincidently named Romulus. It's total running time is over 40 hours and I loved every minute of it. I listen to it every night when I go to bed so I've probably heard it 20 times. If you don't want to download a podcast their are reuploads that have put it on UA-cam. That's actually my preferred listening method as you are given a map and no ads.

@@alphakay3917 That's great to hear! It's my favorite podcast of all time.
Once you finish it I highly recommend 2 audiobooks both ready by Charlton Griffin.
1: Rex Warner's translation of Julius Caesar's "Gaulic Wars" narrated by Charlton Griffin which is free on UA-cam. With Charlton Griffin narrating the book it feels like it's coming straight from the mouth of Julius Caesar himself!
2: Audiobook again narrated by the great Charlton Griffin. Hannibal: One man against Rome. This gives you the detailed story of the second Punic War from Hannibal's perspective. Only place I can find this is on Audible which you can get a 30 day free trial on and listen to this book and cancel your membership.
Here is a 3rd Bonus recommendation.
3: Another Audiobook narrated by Charlton Griffin "Alexander the Great: Anabasis by Arrian". This book was written in 2nd century AD about the campaigns of Alexander the Great. It's the only ancient full telling of the life of Alexander the Great and is an extremely fun listen. This one is FREE on UA-cam if you search the quoted title of the audiobook on UA-cam.

    • @JRGProjects
      @JRGProjects 2 роки тому

Rome strikes me as a people from Star Wars, specifically the Mandolorians in the Old Republic. They believe conflict is a way to enrich themselves both culturally and spiritually. They are fiercely independent and believe that internal conflicts need to be resolved quickly to avoid any outside influence. Rome is for Rome and only the strongest will serve her best. It's also a way of culling the weak and undesirables from the population.
At least during the High Republic and Imperial Republic Eras of Rome. However victory weakened Rome overtime and they did not retain the drive they once had and instead of internal conflicts to serve the State, they were toward the later end, geared toward personal ambition.

I think it's important to note that Caesar probably never saw any combat himself when inside the front lines. On some occasions he would dismount his horse, grab a sword and shield and encourage his men to push forward. But he never actually fought enemies himself.
