I’m getting Adventurine and just completing my compositions in general. I like flexibility more than one damage dealer, because there will always be times when using them won’t work.
It’s like how QQ and Dan IL (Edit: Forget this part I heard otherwise) just get more hurt from Sam. Using Sparkle in that team means extra death (due to Sam damaging if you use SP).
It's my thought too -- I think Hoyoverse is trying to at the very least make it so Seele, etc are still viable DPS units. I saw so many people getting bodied by Sam when they were using QQ/Daniel and I'm sitting here with Seele ripping through Sam's mechanic like "wow, I'm having zero issues here"
That being said; still pulling Sparkle+Acheron. Sparkle to complete the Seele comp, and Acheron because, well, I looked at the leaks and realized I was holding her optimal team.
That and new relic area gave me goated relics.

I'm skipping Acheron for Aventurine and Sam. I need the cool Mecha robot and Aventurine... 😏 will complete my FUA team of course.
I'm pretty sure they both count as one instance of damage rather than 3 - 4 instances. Basically even when they use 3 or more skill points, it's counted as 1. I didn't have problems when I ran them

Me personally I'm skipping for zaddy Aventurine. He's my favorite character in the game so far. Its kinda yikes because people are trying to downplay him so people pull Acheron and that pisses me off. Like jeez, just let me pull my husbando 😭
My first video im watching from your channel, so i cant add much to the part of you as a content creator, but i 100% understand your reason for choosing what characters to add to your gang next. When i started playing genshin long ago, it was a mix of getting powerful characters to make story experience and exploration more easy by getting rid of combat faster - here in H:SR i've started going for characters that i like from their story or personality from the beginning, since i also got better at figuring out what characters need which relics, so i can make all kinds of teams work a bit more easily compared to some years ago where i was struggling in genshin. My upcoming H:SR character goals are probably very very niche and i'm probably not in an easy spot being F2P, but i am basically not interested in upcoming characters except for one of them. Sparkle, nah. Also dont like her. Acheron, i do like her but i dont need her and dont know a fun team i would have in which she would work well. I love DoT but she doesnt seem to be very DoT-heavy. Aventurine i also dislike. --- But! Gallagher. The first character to have any kind of beard as a playable character in the entirety of genshin and H:SR, and him being a fire healer (im still looking for a second fire character i like playing, so far follow-up himeko is the only one) - i love Gallaghers exhausted appearance and design and the way he (from what ive heard) can be played. I saw his attack animations and love all of them. So im basically collecting every Stellar Jade up to his release and on which ever banner that is, i pull with everything i have. And the worst part is, that theres no 4-star guarantee and my 4-star luck is horrible, as proven on past pulls for lynx, charlotte, freminet, gaming, kirara, oh and candace who i just wanted for 4-star completion (close to 90 pulls on her first apearing banner and no candace but two 5 stars). My hope is E1-E2 Gallagher, of course E6 would be cool but its just unrealistic, although a friend got 3 gamings in a 10-pull (i could never). So i guess i will get some 5-star but i dont even know with who he will be paired up with as of right now. I bet most people dont have that specific problem, but i felt i am relating here, with the way you and i look forward to upcoming characters. :D

I plan to get Acheron on my second account. I don't feel like I "need" her on my main account. Already have a Kafka/BS/RM team, QQ and DHIL nuke teams, Seele single target. Playing around with building Ratio, Xueyi and Sushang for fun, while I wait for Firefly. I have MORE than enough Nihility characters for now. If I pay to pull for a char before Firefly, it'd be Sparkle for Mono Quantum, and not Acheron, as my "Nihility Team" is my DoT Team.
I feel like Archeron is going to be stellar, but she’s also a Jade trap with OP eidolons and a nearly must pull Lightcone. Hoyo knows Firefly (Sam?) banner is going to go hard because she’s such a compelling character. They want people to go all in on Archeron so they have to pay up for Firefly…thats my two cents anyway.
I can see that, but I hope not because than Sam will end up being first half 2.2 and I need more time to save so I can get Aventurine as well 😂

I’m thinking of skipping Acheron too. I didn’t get Bronya so I never really played hypercarry. My favoured team is the dot team. I’m tempted to go for Sparkle because I really like QQ so I’d like to try a mono quantum without Silverwolf. I want to build a follow up team because I really like Clara but the buffs she’s been getting from new gear/synergies have seemed quite underwhelming. And I want to try to build a freeze/delay team.
So if I got Sparkle I might be tempted to try out a hypercarry Sparkle/Acheron team but hypercarry isn’t a team I’m particularly focussed on trying and with Acheron right after Sparkle I don’t know if I can actually get both. So I might pull Sparkle and if I get her early save for Acheron but if I don’t get her early just skip Acheron.
I guess Acheron can work on other teams such as a dot team, but she wouldn’t contribute to the dot team, the dot team contributes to her. And then there’s less room for dot on the dot team. So it seems better to use a Welt or Pela to boost her rather than a crippled dot team.
So overall not that enthused about pulling for Acheron even though everyone thinks she’ll be the best most busted character in the game.
May she be a healer or a bad unit, I don’t care…I’m pulling her to my hearts content 😌
According to leaks she’s a fire destruction character who probably uses health as a recourse like blade and also has a super form like Jing Liu.

With the anniversary and all you could try to just get both, plus archeron technique in open world seems too useful quality of life to skip, but I feel you if you want to pull all in for her, I did it in genshin before with 2 characters, guess im not feeling like it anymore, just getting them E0 and maybe lightcone for firefly if its really good, and yeah have to get sparkle today to finish mono quantum

Originally before penacony story Acheron was a must pull for me cuz she gives off raiden mei vibes from hi3, but right after the story I’m just really unsure because of firefly, but then the Acheron gameplay leaks just made me even MORE unsure than ever. 100% going to be the hardest decision I’m trying to make so far in this game and it’s not even close (and also thanks to the conveniently placed FU XUAN RERUN RIGHT NEXT TO HER BANNER since I also lack a 2nd good sustain other than huohuo)
Im disappointed that Firefly and Sam might be intertwined design wise based on leaks. I was really hoping for a cool ass mecha character on his own. Good luck to those pulling!

I feel a similar way. I do care about power a bit but I want my mono quantum to be strong since its a very comfortable team. I plan on completing my team with fu xuan and sparkle and after that maybe try getting acheron. if i don't get her then i will just wait on her rerun or skip all together. Hopefully a future 5 star quantum will come out the does more damage and can be easily added to mono quantum.

Archeron’s situation is very much like Raiden’s in Genshin. I felt like she will be big thing upon her release and there will be tons of incentive to push pp to roll for her / her e2 and her lc.
Your saying is spot on, we do have Jing & kafka, rolling for Archeron is really not necessary (of course it never is, but more reason to skip) having her mean I will use less of the rest.
So to sum up, will hold for firefly, lol.

here I am getting back again to hsr after DHIL debut version, returned during Ruan Mei's banner and used guaranteed on her and I am desperately trying to get Black Swan.
Having to do so much farming and minmaxing to have good teams for end game is so stressful rn lmao- I dont know whether I pull this or that, one second I want Black Swan, the next I want Sparkle, and then Acheron because I feel like I lack a lot in terms of characters
Focus on support/sustain while getting who you like. 2 premium sustains are a good place to start than go for DPS and support you like. All supports seem cracked so they help everyone.
My main reason for not being inclined to pull her is that I already have the Kafka dot team (the only character I’m missing is huo huo)
So she’s just not that appealing to me. If anything I’ll probably go for Aventurine or Sam

On one hand I feel like I need Acheron, but if I can finally start grinding relics soon I imagine Kafka can fill the role of lightning dps just fine. I also need two solid sustains, and don’t even have a main ice or fire dps, so I should probably skip her for now. Plus, I would need to run E0 Pela/Guin without Pearls, so she would barely do 1/10th of her potential for a long time.
how bad is the team iv beat the entire game with so far fire MC (when i got him), march 7th, clara and healer (natasha till i was lucky to get luocha rathger quick)
its a functional team but.... for like moc definitely wanna put a harmony or debuffer in the place of atleast 1 sustain, for this one i'd say to keep march since she can increase clara's aggro chance

I am also considering Skipping Acheron. (If GNSW is rerunning in her Banner) I will pick up copies of GNSW (I have S3 GNSW in total) and if her Signature comes home, My Welt is eating well.
I am not a fan myself of Mono Nihility as a Playstyle over DOT & FUA. (Maybe I'll become more Interested in it Later on and I pick Acheron up on her Rerun) but Playstyle and my Enjoyment of the Characters is way better then the animations. I could get the unit but The unit could end up being Benched later on in favor of other units I love to play (This Happened with one of my Units I pulled for before So I'd rather not Have it happen to Acheron)
Regardless of her Animations or her One shot farming Speedup. I will still be going all In with my 220+ Pulls for Sparkle & Before Dawn (My Himeko and QQ will fight over Before Dawn) Afterwards (Between Sparkle and Sam/Firefly (I may go for Topaz's E1 (I Have E0S1 currently) To further Benefit my Ratio and my other FUA units she's paired with. (I do already have enough Sustains already, so My next possible sustain pull would be playstyle and/or Futureproofing related (for 3 stages in future MOC Endgame Changes)
But seeing Dreams of Aventurine has Interested me some in him. My Huohuo and Fu can Suffice for Ratio/Topaz but It would more about the Playstyle and it Looking Hella fun. Between Aventurine getting his FUA out pretty Frequently and seeing so many Follow ups in action (And FUA is my favorite Playstyle in the Game) With owning and having a least LV 70ed every FUA unit other then not having Indexed Jing Yuan (I still don't intend on Getting him) As I have Kafka (Who would be the Beneficiary of me getting more copies of GNSW on top of the S2 her LC has Rignt now)
My Plans are after Sparkle Include (GNSW S5 If It Returns on Acheron's Banner) probably E0S0 aventurine (If GNSW reruns on the second half rather then the First half, I'll consider S1 for Aventurine over another Topaz cone as my Dr Ratio can Suffice with Stellar Seas until his LC reruns again and Skipping the first half), and E1 Topaz. Then when Sam/Firefly comes around, I will consider E0S1ing Sam/Firefly. Then I'll save for Screwllum/Fu's S1/Future Banners/Reruns
As someone that wants Sparkle, Aventurine, Sunday and Screwllum. Both Acheron AND firefly will have to be skips for me

i think this way, if i have, as example a lightning DPS such as Kafka, i don't see the point of getting another lightning DPS, if Kafka gets the job done as a lightning DPS, then i will probably pull for another DPS with another element, for the current content in the game is required only 2 DPS characters, so if i am going to get another DPS it's because of it's viability or by it's design/lore or just because the playstyle is unique and fun, and this aplies also for support characters, i may not need them, but i liked the design/lore/unique kit. But of course this only aplies when i have 2 full teams
Once you have 2 DPS you should start getting more supports to fill certain roles in my opinion
Also i will get FIrely too, for me her kit doesn't matter, i just fell in love with the character
But Acheron main dps(Ult) ignore weakness

At first, I didn't want acheron, but I have no lightning dps, and with the quest I liked her so I'll pull for her. The quest was awesome, and I understand about firefly, I want her too. Even Sunday Robin that I liked a lot and Aventurine (for my topaz team)....I skipped Black swan as I don't play dots, and I'll skip sparkle as I don't like the character, even if she's meta I don't care. Even with 2 skip, it will be hard as f2p, but I hope I'll have some luck ^^
I was undecided between pulling for acheron or fu xuan. I started playing honkai because of fu xuan 2 months ago, but i'm scared that acheron will be this broken unit that i'll regret not having. This video helped me make my decision, i'm going for fu xuan 🙏🏻

I think acherons damage ceiling will be insane, possibly the highest, but only under very specific circumstances. Unless you have e2, she NEEDS nihility characters, ideally with eidolons so her flexibility is more restrictive. As a newer player who started in 1.6 shes a skip for me. Jung Liu has more flexability and i feel will likely be a better unit when solely focusing on them both individually. Plus i also need a good sustain lol

I planned to skip but her Q animation is really well done combined with the sound. People are not hyped for the damage (i heard that the initial calculations say she is below Jingliu and Daniel) but her style is really tempting. We'll see i guess
penacony has caused me by far the most pain in terms of who to pull because every character so far is epic. not particularly in pure numbers but in concept and kit design, each one brings something new to the table, to the point where black swan is unironically the least interesting penacony character by virtue of just having large numbers.
I will also be skipping Acheron. Reson being I got Blackswan and also e2 Kafka so my wind/electric dps are complete. I also have blade,jing,ILDH however I have no ice/physical dps. So I will pull sparkle then wait for Sam.
Personally I go for both and their lightcones, I have over 270 pulls I lost a 50/50 just recently if Acheron Lightcone leve me with over 100 pulls I can easily go for firefly, i can even buy March and April monthly passes because both are worth it (it is just 10 dollars is not that much)

This actually convinced me not to pull Acheron- I was planning on going for her E2S1, but decided to eventually go for Aventurine (probably will skip LC) and Topaz E1S1 (I don't have Topaz even though she's my pfp 💀lost the 50/50 back then).
Made me really take a step back and ask myself if I really wanted to go for a hypercarry DPS with very cool animations, instead of Topaz whose design I love more and going for a FUA team with Aventurine, Ratio, Topaz and Ruan Mei (or maybe a future Harmony besides Sparkle).

I will pull for acheron because she's actually built like a Hunt unit with her demand for turns and I main Hunt path. Unless they confirm that there's a legit lightning hunt unit in the near future (probbaly 1-2 patches away) then I probbaly would skip her.

But my priority is Aventurine, that man is the main ingredient of FUA comps

@@azulite_revz4514 my seele has a staggering 90 crite over 230 cdmg, my ratio comparably does approximately 15% of seele’s damage, ratio is less universal than seele because he has to focus on a single enemy, my seele kills most lesser enemies with one skill, thus having way more potential in multiple enemies situation as well as big bosses. Especially when the bosses have spawns/lesser enemies

Personally I'm the same i dont pull unit for power but for design animation and personality u can instantly see that with my favorite unit jy despite having jl yet im pulling for acheron not bcause she's op or i like her personality or design(for me its mid) its just for the animation i personality think acheron have the most beautiful animation and that sold her for me but if her animation is just like lets say jl lvl maybe i will never pull for her bcause well i believe u only really need 1 dps for each element with 4* dps being back up if ur main 5* dps playstyle is not up for the task (jy being slow so i often bring or use serval alone)

Good luck to you then! For me it’s Acheron all the way, I’ve waited a long time for her. I’m super hyped and I play mainly with the characters I like and not really meta (for example I love playing Dehya in Genshin).
I’m always happy to see other people like the characters in the game, I think that makes it most enjoyable.
Pull for favorite character, always. The meta will always be changing they have to sell characters and make money. But your personal favorite character is unlikely to change ❤
