How about getting the boat outfitted and fully ready for relaunch, get launched, and take a voyage around the Gulf of Mexico for like six weeks. Imagine the fun of stopping in the Mexican Riviera, then heading over to Jamaica, then the Bahamas and the Florida Keys, with a finale back in New Orleans for Jazz Fest🎉? That would be quite an adventure, one that you’d never forget.
See the Sailing Brothers' channel. Two gents from the UK who quit their grocery store jobs and took the summer off sailing around Britain. When they got back home they decided to sail across the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean. A year later they're planning a round the world circumnavigation.
Life gets in the way. I understand. Been there. Nice to see you back at it. She's a beautiful boat, it would be a shame not to finish her and get her back in her element. Best of luck to you!
Is the house building vids uploaded anywhere? If not, a pivot to making the channel more than just sailing with sailing playlists could be an option. A sailing channel within a channel covering more broader projects
I would think the folks at West Systems (Epoxy Works) would have tackled a mast repair like yours in the past ….. maybe dig around there a bit. Good to see you back
Been a while... We're getting back into the swing of things and are excited to be back!
The boat is looking absolutely magic. The old engine needs to go in a museum. Well done on the house build too.

Good to see you back. I like the seagull bleep for curse words. Very inventive.
