I just saw Guy Light yesterday. He is a thinker, planner, designer and builder. He has a new lift system to raise a boat, 10' 100lb. to the roof of his vehicle. Did a short video taping of it. If it comes out well I will post it soon.

Yes I was a bit confused but I can see some differences in the centerboard and stern seat. I like this boat and will be looking forward to buy a used Sage Cat 15 if I can find one. So far no luck. I think you did a masterful job on your modifications.
Bought a 19' mfg, roomier cabin than my semi sleeper that I live out of. Many great ideas on your beautiful craft. Years I have lived vicariously through others, now gearing up to do it.

Craig - it looks like the BIG difference between your boat and Guy's boat is that you actually sail yours, and Guy's spends too much time in the garage being modified. Good on you fo getting out there and creating adventures on your small boat!
He does sail but doesn't do vids of sailing. Not to be too personal, but he is a care giver to a loved one. That makes travel harder. We were with them recently, (he has 18 boats), he had a Hobie catamaran one day, next day a 10' alum. power boat.
Well done Sir! Way to utilize space, just wish you had played beach boys or something more upbeat music was rather depressing, I’m looking at buying a cheap 17.5 footer and modify it, it’s nice to see what it can become. I appreciate the video!
