Oh man, you did help me a lot with this technique, I actually think my hair in the middle (the pomp) is too long. How long is your hair in the front ? mine is long enough to reach the chin...like the devilock of the misfits style.

Is there any water based pomade doesnt harden but gives u the royal crown shine? Or any other oil based pomade that's a medium or heavy hold that gives u royal crown shine?

+louis martinez at the start I used heavy holds (schmiere Hart, SWG red, Murray's etc.)because my hair wasn't trained.After a while I used medium hold pomade (schmiere mittel, SWG blue. nu Nile. etc.) because my hair wanted to go backwards(front to back). now I'm using light pomade, because I like the way that the pomade combs through my hair. I hope I helped.
do the sides of your head have longer hair than the top of the hair, i've gotta grow my hair a bit more, but i wanna start off on the right track, right now i got hair thats about half an inch on the sides and about an inch on the top, so yea long way to go, but still would like to know

I've started dressing vintage and wearing pompadours and due to me having Sicilian roots and also being a big broad shouldered dude I'm constantly called "Goodfellas". I still love it and am having fun tho. Also when you get older the weird looks stop. I'm almost 30 and I don't get weird looks it's more "he's definitely in the mob" comments lol
