TUTORIAL Elvis Pompadour: WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS HAIRCUT
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
- When we started Schorem our business plan came down to this line: “Would Elvis Aaron Presley come in for a haircut..?” We build our whole shop as a tribute to The King and his perfect manes... Now, I’m not arrogant enough to say I’m skilled enough to recreate that iconic cut, BUT I SURE AS HELL TRY!!! Elvis, Brian Setzer, James Dean, Herman Brood were just a few of the ( Anti ) heroes that got me started doing haircuts but nothing has changed since the day I picked up my clippers, my life’s devoted to the quest for the perfect Pompadour..
I love working with clippers, The Holy Ashtray IS a barbershop after all and I truly, truly believe the magic isn’t in the hand that holds the tool in hat takes the hair off, I believe in the hand that holds the tool that guides that hand... Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE to our channel and turn on the notifications so you’ll be the first one watching when we’ve uploaded another video in the very near future. Take care. Enjoy your day!

Schorem, Haarsnijder & Barbier what scissors are those?
You inspired me! I will practice it, thank you so much...
Is that a 500$ haircut
@mostafa I wish!!! 😂 37 Euro
Schorem, Haarsnijder & Barbier follow that man is what I think, he’s know what he do with the people’s hair!!!! 💈💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
I've been cutting hair since 1993. You are the most thorough and succinct teacher I've ever known. Awesome job and many thanks
He had perfect hair for this and you can tell you really know your stuff. Your use of this technique and your signature on the cut is first class.
The Pompadour really suits this fellow. He's got the thick full head of hair and the cool good looks. Very striking.
I wish I had that guys hair...but I love all these old school styles..the 50’s was one of the best eras, the haircuts back in the day were so much better then what we have now
Totally true..
Is it the cuts or the barbers? The same styles still exist, just no good barbers to cut them. Back in the day, everyone wore these styles so any good barber knew how to achieve the look. Too much “Super Cuts” and crap places like that these days.
I never got the fuss around fades and short or bald hair in general horrible modern styles they make men look like they have stripped of there individuality
I think the main problem with modern cuts is that the sides are often too short. If you look at vintage pictures of hairstyles popular today (pomps, side parts etc) you can clearly see that the sides are way longer, sometimes as long as the hair on top.
Also I might be wrong but a lot of men nowadays seem to bald super young. Maybe in the 50's they didn't bald so young thus had more time to try cool hairstyles?
Man I've been cutting hair for 20 years and I've always looked at heads as a walking canvas absolutely love it but just these videos I watch of yours have made me a freaking Rockstar in the barbershop thank you so much never stop learning as a barber
I have been for 15 years. Watching this and other channels has made a big difference in my work.
And a little easier.
@@alans.wendelschafer6588 agreed
Coming from a barber of almost 15 years, this is probably the best scissor work I've ever seen. Just an incredible haircut
Rob you are perfect!!! No one of todays barbers can cut this kind of pompadour. This is so great to see your work. Go on buddy!!!
Nice to see this look again instead of the bald fades now a days....not many barbers can do this Elvis cut...great job!
Bertus .....you the best barber in the world! Great job... top
Well. The best? I sure do try my best every single chop. Thanks!
I could watch you all day long, Rob. You truly know how to do your thing. The lucky dudes that get to sit in your chair. Rock on!!!
Thanks Steven, stay tuned for more!
I have been a barber for 12 years and never get bored of trying to learn new techniques, this guy is a very good barber, he can adapt to cut many different styles and isn’t just all about fades, I love watching him work and have learnt a lot 👍
Nice job, Robert. These videos will legitimate the names of the haircuts. Here in Brazil, some dudes misundestand the pompadour with a common quiff of an another haircut, for an example.
Great job with the size of the last videos too, because are too many people that cheats newbie barbers, selling courses and techniques to them without any level of true knowledge of barbering or teaching. The "free" lessons from your videos will elevate the level of barbers around the world, leaving less space for these scammers. That is a great contribuition for the world barber comunnity.
You are 💯 right!
Thanks a lot for typing this down. And thanks again for that big-ass compliment! Much appreciated!
@@REUZEL Thats really true! Well... One year after you had up that video and the words of Marco Lopes still are truth. I watched your video just by the side of my father in law, he is from 40s decade, and he said all the time "that's the way we used to cut hair in my time... just seeing him, I do can tell: he knows how to cut! He rocks!" and he was not just talking about the hairstyle but talking about you Robert your technique, and I recognize this. Look, I studying to enter this world and I believe the old school it's able to "teach" me a lot... hahaha
Thanks a lot for your contribution.
That is one gorgeous haircut. The style suits your client so much.
Hogyeah, thank you so much. That's what we're after at Schorem! ✌️😎
love how you accentuated the client's great hair with how you allowed the pomp to flow.
a master technician at work.
great video.
Thank you Will! 😎✌️
If I've said it once I’ve said it a thousand times : This is ART...
Art? Your joking, right?
Fantastic barber and also great model! He's for sure rocking the hairstyle
Hogyeah, he is, he has such a great head of hair! 😉🤘
He looks badass with this haircut.
This is one of the best hair cutting tutorials-----such precision and you really understand working with head curvature and the talent you have in those fingers setting your guide and using tension to meet that side guide mark. I love this tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I really appreciate this kind of videos, thank you Schorem!!! Forever you will be the greatest inspirations for me as a barber. I send you my gratitude from Mexico 🇲🇽
Completely awesome, awesome, awesome! What a great barber!!
I am an architect but this man makes me love this job. Right now I am studying to be a barber and this man is such an inspiration

This guy is a Da Vinci in a world of haircuts. Absolute genius. Energy, experience, knowledge. 👏🧠❤
Young Josh Brolin getting his hair cut 👌🏼

This is the Best Barber cut ive watched...Awesome! 👍👌👌
Hogyeah, tank you so much! 💪🤠
Congratulations both of you Ciao from Italy an Elvis and Excellence Fan🤙
The dude has incredible hair and he so hansome ...as for the cut....kuddos to y o u sir! No one takes that kimd of time anymore cutting hair. You have a cool look as well....love the tats! Thanks again both of you-
牛逼,
I don't know if I can get any close to this level of cutting hair in my life, Bertus are just out of this world .
I never thought I would watch the full 30 minutes but this is just so inspiring! What a work of art! This is a free online masterclass. Also really cool how you emphasised the importance of using a traditional oil based product. It's really essential to the look and the old school experience. Investing and learning how to use those products, and thereby dismissing the convenience of a washable product can be a struggle but it also builds character and is really satisfying.
Thank you so much!
Hey whats up Tom.when are you going to make more videos
@@dansantos5010 Hey Dan. Thanks for asking. I have nothing planned yet. I did have some ideas but I haven't been able to complete them. As far as styling goes everything is already on there.
@@Tom_le_Grand was just wondering. But thanks your vids help alot.
You do great work as a barber, but the haircut took way too long. The haircut was done along time ago. You kept going back doing this and that. Not necessary. Get the guy out the chair already lol
Hands down THE best pompadour video on you tube.....quality👏👏👏
Thanks for the love Kevin! 🫶🤩
Good to see barbers that still know how to use scissors!
Spectacular cut on a fantastic head of hair.
When did cutting hair get so technical?? I LOVE this!! It’s about time we started caring as much OR MORE than women do about their coiffure.
Master of his craft. Beautiful work.
Never ever in my life a saw a barber with such a passion for his job! I just enjoy watching you doing haircuts. I‘ve also tried to mix pink and green, it‘s a great combination! Unfortunately my cut doesn‘t allow a pomp straight back, always wearing a pomp with a side part. I hope I can visit your shop anytime!
Pompadour King is what i call u man. God bless your hands.
Thank you for sharing this haircut!
Some people ask me to do this haircut but even with all my Years of experience . I did not know how to do it because i didn’t had that type of clientele before! ..
I really admire your work sir
And from another barber ,, you have my respect
Fingers crossed you will rock a Pomp soon!
You are the legend my friend
Thanks to you I became a excellent barber
I follow your steps
That's so awesome Jari, stay tuned for much more! 💪🤠
Awesome cut Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome Dominic! ✌️🤠

The Bloody Butcher takes The King wherever he goes! 😎👊
This gentleman is the most skilled barber I have ever seen. What a superb haircut. The client must be extremely happy.
Omg. What an awesome step by step pompadour demo. That cut is awesome! Wow❤
I don’t know what I’m doing watching this videos, I’m freaking bald!!!
3d Pen
@@joelabu3460 stupid lol
Just to fullfill fantasy...😅
Sean Truman hahaha it’s true!
😁😁😁
This is the BEST tutorial. I use your teachings on my husbands hair & he loves it! Thank you
I learnt more from this half hour video then I have from any course I’ve done!
Diego's hair is to die for!
I have learnt so much watching your videos iv been a barber for ten years and still learning every day...would love to come work with you guys
Exceptional work! Love the Men's old school hair style......he looks handsome...:))
This is beyond perfection! After watching this i feel like im in love with this tutorial. You've done so well, especially the explainations. Please keep up the beautiful works (like this one xD). Peace!
I rarely use blenders on my clients but I will give these sheers more love after this video! Thanks for sharing your thinking process while blending and removing weight! Your thoughts on the Pomade usage was very helpful as well. I‘m in my last of three years of apprenticeship in a male clients only hairsalon in Germany and honestly... your videos and pictures of men’s haircuts made me pick this craft. I hate coloring and perms, nails and make-up but in a few months i‘ll „graduate“ and it‘ll be cutting only for me! Thanks for helping me find my talents and thanks for all the inspiration! Keep spreading the lards word, lads!
THANK YOU!
i love watching “modern” barbers who use techniques like sectioning. prefer them much to old school barbers
Elvis has left the building. Great video as always
Michael Pacini 👇👇👇🙏😃

best hairstyle comparison
😆 right?!
There's no such thing as perfect hair 😂
Check
Wish we had barbers like you in my city with your knowledge on pompadours
"I hate you, I hate you and your hair.... "
I feel you brother...
after watching tv video, I feel like a 1 trick pony barber. If someone were to ask me for this cut i might be able to get something that's looks similar but obviously not as good. Im going the have to watch this video several times to figure out the sectioning over directing etc, there are so many steps to executing this. These are the types of cuts I like, but I dont get these types of clients, im just a bald fade american barber, barber school didn't teach us how to do anything like this. This video seemed better then the DVD instructional set that I purchased from you guys, keep posting these great tutorials they are helping me.
Thank you so much for making our UA-cam comment sections a cool place to be. Enjoy your weekend!
You are an influencer my friend. Keep inspiring. ❤️👏🏻✌🏻💈✂️

Smooth voice.
Beautifully Crafted!!!!
I wish I could find someone near to do this cut on me, every salon/barber I've been to never leaves my hair long enough, so styling it becomes a nightmare. :(
