Great workout! Not as tiring as your other workouts but definitely more strength based and in my comfort zone :) 8 kg today and could probably go up to 10. I'll try that next time!
When it comes to metcons, unless the weight is stated, you want to pick a weight that allows you to continuously move with only the need for short brakes periodically. I would say you should be able to perform sets of 10-20+ of an exercise with a pair of dumbbells. Obviously this will depend on the weight you have available.
Great workout! Would you help us with a quick video? My wife and I are working from home. We typically pry ourselves from our laptops 3-4 times per day for a micro-break of air squats and thrusters for about 1-2 minutes. Please help us with ideas to keep us motivated & moving during our 10-hour days.
I would do something like set a 60 minute clock during work, and every time it goes off, you perform 2 minutes of a different movement each time for max reps! Burpees, push ups, high knees, mountain climbers, glute bridges, shoulder taps, lunges, jump squats, reverse snow angels, hollow rocks, and bear crawls to name a few exercises you could do. 😁

How do you know how heavy the dumbbell needs to be?
