Which instrument would like to try??🤔🤔🤔
The last flute (Takezaikuya?) had the prettiest sound to me. We played a similar instrument (plastic not bamboo) in elementary school.
the sheng (japanese call it shou). it's like a circular pan flute and i love the sound from it. (supposedly it mimics the sounds made by the asian Phoenix, or Houou/Fenghuang).
The first instrument looks and sounds so similar to a Lao national musical instrument called Khene!
I have to pass. The noise I would make attempting to play one of those would be an insult to their makers.
Soooooo when are you and norm posting a music video?
Great to see you enjoying life & thank you for taking us along your journey.. from NYC.
I think You are a wonderful ambassador for Shikoku. Thank You for showing all these interesting places! I hope to be able to visit Shikoku. Also interesting are these sacret instruments. I heard them at Hetsunomiya shrine on Enoshima, Kanagawa and had no idea what they are. Now I know ;)
Love your work
Always making me smile with your videos. Just brings joy to my days. Thanks Sherry! Much love from Florida, US!
Nice video editing! Thank you for sharing :)
The citrus around Shikoku is amazing. We loved cycling the Shimanami Kaido especially through the orchards and then stopping at a michi no eki and buying fruit and juice. On a side note, I learnt the kanji for 雅楽 just yesterday so I was researching a bit about it - and there you were playing some instruments! I have loved this series and will be planning a holiday in Shikoku sometime soon.
Such a fun video! Very peri peri Thank you so much!
I love your videos! They are always so fun and cheerful. Getting to see parts of Japan I’ve never heard of is always such a treat. 😊
All the different breads looked so good. What a fun video once again. 🌴🌾
Always such great uplifting videos!!
thank you.
I always look forward to Sherry's food adventures 😁
Wow. Japan is awesome I would love to visit the country next year.
I remember the juice faucet at the airport. It's just one of those sights that you don't forget.
I weirdly really like gagaku, something about it that just fits right with me.
I had a friend visiting me in Japan and when he heard the sound he thought somebody where strangling a cat 🤣
I enjoy a lot of your videos, but the ones covering Ehime are definitely my favourite. It really showcases a side of Japan which we rarely get to see.
And the energetic and positive vibe that you bring is tremendous. I'm sure you're the sort of person everyone wants in their corner - i can imagine when the chips are down, you will still keep going.
Thanks for making videos!
I'm sorry the trip is over, but I really hope you keep this upload scheduled! I'm loving all the videos!
Wow! you got a lot of unique experience again this time 🤩
Always nice to see you trying a new adventures🥰
What a lovely "sweet" video, I seem to have marmalade and oranges constantly on my mind today, the yakata?, you wore at the shrine was just amazing, thank you always for your highly interesting, informative and gentle videos. Ganbarimashitane!!
Just found your channel. You have a great on camera personality. = )
I'll be coming to Ehime in late March.
I'LL be in Japan in april but sadly not in ehime
I love Gagaku, I listen to it when I have too many things bouncing around in my head and need a reset.
Ehime seems to be full of rich experiences! Hope to visit some day.
Black shopping streets looks interesting, where is it?
That was a fine chapeau around 7:05
Hello sherry would be nice to know more about your home town and know how to work there
The piccalo looking one and oboe looking one looked to have similar saxaphone fingerings. I played Alto Sax for 13 years, I know all about the playing experence too.
Ooooo that’s so cool!
5:49 now l'm hungry and no bread, guess l have to make due with cornflakes
Just so people don't need to Google it:
"Gagaku is a type of Japanese classical music that has been performed at the Imperial Court in Kyoto since the 7th century. Today it is performed by the Board of Ceremonies in the Tokyo Imperial Palace."
Thanks!!!
Thankfully, I ate before this video or I would be soooooo hungry!!!
I really 🧡 your channel 👍 please keep going strong 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hello Sherry, loving your content! Has the COVID-19 impacted your hometown at all?
Are oranges hand-picked there? I often see vacant jobs as a fruit farmer to japan.
If I tried to play it, it wouldn’t sound so sacred. XD
All those breads...
Head Priestess :)
So when is your album going to drop?
Hahahaha
You okay Sherry? Busy? Been quiet lately during the coronavirus outbreak...
I’m doing okay! Just I have a lot things to adjust business wise because of coronavirus😅
OMG, all those mikan.... i want them all... and cold weather, and a kotatsu.
I know "pain maison" is supposed to be "bread house" or "house of bread" but I can't help to read it as "house of pain" (痛いハウス)
Wow sherry Y congrats cuz you didnt have a dislikes ☺☺☺😄😄😄🙆🙆🙌🙌🙌🙌
