Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - Lynian Researcher - Research Request #28 "Howling at the Moon"

I couldn't really find a way to skip the Day/Night cycle faster so I just let the game idle until it's night time.
Dawn - 4 minutes
Day - 25 minutes
Dusk - 4 minutes
Night - 17 minutes

thank you so much i thought zinogre was going to be just a random event spawn, like with the other palicos and monsters you take images of, but im happy to know now that you have to have zinogre on the map beforehand. tysm!!

I didn't want the video to be even longer so I paused during the time I was idle but theres a 6 minute timeskip after I open the map, from start of the night to Zinogre doing the pose it takes like 8 minutes~ so you gotta wait quite a while.

Don't know if anyone is going for achievements or who will see this hope it helps!
Many people have trouble getting the desire time because they try to fast forward the time.
What I found while getting the " Howling at the Moon' picture for lynian researcher. There is a way to reverse the time.
Yeah so basically your hunter can travel back in time!
To get this to work( i only tried wrath of thuder descends quest, let me know if it works anywhere else'
You need to start the quest and keep on Returning from quest. DO NOT ABANDON THE QUEST !!!!
This will set a time loop that reverses in the whole world.
Your normal quest when starts reverses from the time you can see from Astera a lil bit behind, now returning from quest sets the time back even more. For eg. do this technique and you can get by through dawn phase within 30 sec by constantly repeating start quest and returening from quest. NO NEED FOR ANY KILLING OR ANYTHING!
This will set a time loop so bad that you can see the actual game time now reversing instead of going forward until you start a quest and finish the quest!
THE NIGHT TIME NOW STAYS AT INFINITE AMOUNT .
Cannot determine weather changes yet. Still with this you can control time in this game to a lot of extent.
ENJOY NOW GETTING ALL RARE ACHIVEMENTS!!!
