GameyDaddy ahah ikr.... i could kill 2 or 3 people... but then... they just don't come back :/ ... they move to another dz. Man i miss DZ From Division 1 so much... that feeling when the whole server is on you 😂, that rage when after 10 min of running the whole dz.. they still can't kill you, camping check (without turrets of course) and dropping 'em like fly, what have you done massive 😔
I would like to go in the DZ , but I guess I'm afraid too. I know I might get killed by rogues and loose my goodies, but it's the double whammy I dont like, how you loose a DZ level, it's like being kicked when your down. I thought of match making for the DZ, but what if the others turn on me, oooh dear. What should I do. Great video, very informative.
Here’s some tips from a DZ and Occupied DZ runner. Personally, I run as a rogue player in the DZ. I’ve learned that if you see one player, there are ALWAYS more nearby. Watch your back. When clearing landmarks, the landmarks becomes contested, being marked red on the map. Rogues are always on the lookout for these locations and will come after you. If you feel like you’re overwhelmed by the AI, get out of there before the players show up. Extracting, try and get high ground. You can always shoot down past cover and they can’t hit you easily. Sniper? Stay down or use cover-to-cover, grenade, something to make it harder to hit you. If you don’t feel comfortable or you can’t reach the rope, fall back. Those players that use the rifle shields to block your bullets aren’t invincible. They’re just buying themself time. Go for legs, use grenades, status effects. Anything that makes it harder for them to shoot you. Or try an EMP pulse, just a warning, it takes a while to charge, like 8 seconds to reach 15m effectiveness, this one might not be that viable though. If a player being shot at goes into cover, they’re healing, use that as a chance to get away or hit them with whatever you have. If you’re being chased by a team and you can’t meet your best friends Shock and Turret, fund choke points. Staircases, hallways, interiors, ladders, etc. always use them to slow the enemy down. Fire turrets or a few grenades might make them hesitate, or at least stop them from hitting you. Once you put up your deterrent (fire turret, frags, whatever) book it, run. If you feel comfortable engaging them as they funnel in, try it, but it’ll likely result in death without a team. Put some distance between you and the enemy if you decide to hold your ground, cover, always. Never let them get close, players close to you don’t need to worry about missing a shot and typically have the highest rate of fire weapons to melt you. Slow their advance with whatever you have. In Occupied DZs, “rogue” players will not appear as rogue. But they can still shoot you. There isn’t a button to go rogue either, you can always catch their bullets. There are no turrets in the Occupied DZs either. Meaning choke points and path lockdowns are the best ways to put ground between you and them. Again, fire turret or grenades. If you get caught in a DZ that becomes Occupied while you’re inside, you’ll be notified by either helicopter patrols flying over, nearby Checkpoint Turrets being disabled, and an ISAC notification “uplink failing” or “Black Tusk are occupying the Dark Zone.” If you’re comfortable, stay inside, if not, move to another DZ. Alleys are really tight areas, usually only having enough room to fit a single car. This makes an ideal choke point. Use corners, staircases, ladders or ropes to your advantage. Either use them to help the enemy lose sight of you, or set up an ambush. Players are vulnerable while vaulting, climbing, using ropes, and healing with armor kits. Cut off an easy access route with a fire turret and watch them as they climb the wall to chase you. Either pop some shots or fall back, again, whatever slows them down. An isolated enemy is weak. If you find a rogue squad had lost a few guys, be aggressive. For them the tensions are high and mistakes happen easily. Lock down a choke point if they’re chasing you, or if you’re on the hunt, set up an ambush between them and the checkpoint. Rogue runners are nearly always trying to regroup so take them out while they’re separated if possible. Manhunt rogues are very aggressive, already having killed 5 players these guys are no joke, and they’ll always be moving as a group. Other players in the server are likely to chase after these guys, so you’ll have backup. Manhunt rogues are either trying to stay alive as long as possible, or trying to reach SHD terminals. Cut them off before they can reach these terminals if you’ve decided to go hunting. The interaction time on these terminals are around 15s each and there’s usually 3 locations. If a team wants to clear their status, they have to get all 3. The ideal time to engage these guys is when they’re missing a person, so if they reach a terminal, one player has to interact, leaving them down to 3 shooters, and they’ll likely be all close thgether. Grenade the guy on the terminal to delay them or just pop shots their way, they’ll likely stop the hacking and start shooting. If they’re stubborn, grenade. I know this is a very long comment and I covered a lot of basic stuff too. Hopefully this helps anyone who may need it. If you can find friends to play with, do it, the game is always more fun with a team in my opinion. Use these tips and tricks to stack the odds on your favor, even more so if you group up.
i have had a 4 man rouge team roll up on my extraction and i just deleted all my items , they were so mad . Guess killing me for zero loot wasn't what they expected to happen . : )
That's why I won't go. As long as the loot isn't better in the DZ I'm cool just playing the rest of the game. I get frustrated enough with npc's, I don't need to get mad at real people too...
@@Avalanche8181 I'm definitely no PVP player but in Division 1 .. I found it rewarding and lucrative running the dark zone for numerous reason...its definitely not the same in division 2 it's weird!!
For me, I always treat extraction as a joke while doing solo in DZ. I usually fool extraction to lure rogue to come and I move on to the next extraction point. I pull this tricks whenever I need to extract. Sometimes the more is better. They will see a extraction point pops up 5 times and nobody is there. Then they get tired of me so I grab my chance to pull out one extraction that I would really put my stuff in.
I am a solo player and I loveeeeee the DZ. The new thieves den/loot stealing mechanic is soooo amazing. I have found it best to mind your own business. If you see a big squad, go the opposite direction, someone getting ganked, use this to sneak around. You mission is loot, and nothing else matters.
It's SOOOOO satisfying when I'm playing solo and a group of 2 (usually not 3 or more because I die) people go rouge and I manage to kill them both without much difficulty
If I see a group of rogues and I don't have loot on me or loot I care about (I delete it) I just try to take down as many as I can which is ussually 1-2 downed and 1 of the 2 killed before I'm dead, if you can't kill the whole group, kill a few so other players who are near your position can finish them off.
I go into the Dark Zone solo every time. Sometimes it can get frustrating if you run into Rogues who KOS but more often then not if you jump in and help a player/group kill some enemies from a Landmark, after the fight you will get an invite to join them. I’ve even revived randoms then afterwards you join up and make a squad. And clearing a Landmark or Supply Drop solo is so satisfying when you make all the right plays. It definitely makes you a better player.
I need a 4 man team to farm with tbh lol tired of running around alone in the dz and getting mugged by 4 man teams who emote on my body like killing me was a difficult task lol
Put on the Blinder firefly, put on a mod that targets 4 or 5 players. Blind them, and run. It's funny, you see them straffing in circles because they can't see. lmao.
for people who don’t want to go in you really should, it’s a feeling you aren’t going to have anywhere else on any other game. just don’t let dying to a$$holes get to you & it is a unique experience
weediestbroom ha but I didn’t. just that’s the worse of it. there’s farmers, there’s players that only pvp w/ players that want pvp, there’s rogues that aren’t salty or trash talkers just there to fight players & then there’s the a$$holes & there multiple forms
so I did PvP in other games in the past. I dont see whats so "unique" about TD2s PvP really. Its all stats mixed in with your reaction time...twitchy gameplay and you come across people who just mow you down because they can. I dont like to "just" kill" others for fun and being defensive only sucks for PvP...no thanks, my loss I guess
Artur .Darda Fighting duo against a 4-man disavowed team for our loot during a extraction is heart-pounding for me. Either me and my bro take their shite and murder then, or we get our shite taken and absolutely murdered. So far, my only kills (that weren't cheese) were that team of disavowed agents. Everyone else I’ve encountered helped in landmarks and patrols. I’ve only ever actually seen one team of hardcore Rogues, but I managed to cheese the feck out of them and take out one of them by throwing a grenade from the checkpoint over a fence and killing one that was weakened, but I don’t count that as a “kill”. Point is, DZ is fun, and I've only been playing on it for 8 days.
@@deadeye0o not one fucking person as giving a reason why you should go into the DZ, what is the actual benefit. I work a full time job, and value my time spent infront of this damn screen, and frankly "a beautiful experience" or "DZ is lots of fun" just isint enough to convince me
"It's just a game" Big respect to you for this mindset. On the gaming end of the internet in these days it's easy to get the impression that many gamers forget this.
As for me, everytime I go to the DZ and come across other fellow agents, I just salute and wish a good game. Believe it or not, i instantly receive an invitation and we all get a pleasant experience. Like you said...DZ is what it is ❤️
DZ is the wildwest, just went in today for second time, ran into another solo player, we teamed up against badguys at first took them out, he revived me once, then i ran into one those rouge stations u can activate, i had no clue what it was, i activated it and the other solo player automatically starts lighting me up, i ran away as his drone is shooting me and his turret is launching mortars at me, I ran into a Patriot sons hotzone, they started engaging him and i deployed my drone and turret, he was distracted and I was able to kill him and take his loot, lmao then i ran into another solo player, we fought some badguys and invited me to his clan and showed me how to deposit the other players loot lol. The DZ is crazy lmao, I recommend all new players watch helpful videos like these so you are prepared lmao. great video btw bro, very helpful an straight to the point
But remember: not only the others can do what they want! Since division 1 the dz has allways been the place where everything could happen! No clear routine, no best path to follow. And that makes it the coolest and most innovative part of the game. In my opinion!
There's a lot of different ways to play the dark zone. I enjoy setting up ambushes for npcs and rogues! When you play at night irl or in game I always get an eerie haunted feeling when I'm there and I love it! True solo here
Actually this, I cannot tell you how annoying it is getting hate mailed afterwards after going rogue. Like, BOI its the dark zone. You signed up for this, deal with it!
@@jackvanatta3582 Pretty sure you can let a newer person to the game that quite obviously wouldn't have a chance fighting you farm and not be a dickwad.
Clear the DZ landmarks outside the checkpoints; for SHD points. When you get GANKED by rogues in the back; you just respawn at the checkpoint and wait outside the active landmark. The rogues finish off the landmark and you get your SHD points. It's making the rogues work for you.
For the contaminated gear drops, Keen eyed players can identify talents and attribute types the piece of gear has before extracting. The info panel on the right (the area where you see damage, rpm, mag size, talents, etc... But if you look at the Talent icons and Attribute Icons, you can slowly begin to identify what the piece of gear has on it. The symbols will quickly become identifiable, then back to scrambled. Identifiable meaning that it won't explicitly tell you what the gear has, but has a vague shape and maybe some color if it's an attribute. Keep an eye out.
My first experience in the DZ, when I was extracting loot, 4 other players came up and attached their loot as well, and we all extracted our loot. We then switched from all being solo to grouping up and then ran several landmarks, sharing loot and extracting several times. Completely random people that ran into each other and were friendly, and it worked out perfectly for all of us. Next 4 times, got ganked every single extraction by either 2 or 4 man squads camping extractions.. shit was wack and with normalization really no way to win when you are outnumbered and you get rushed
5 років тому+1
I didn't play the dark zone in the last one and still had a blast doing other activities.
Enemies were melt-city on challenge when I was in there. Easy gear. It’s the scumbag teams of 3 or 4 that have nothing better to do but to pick unfair fights with a solo player.
Probably the best attitude and approach to the DZ I have seen and heard since the launch of TD. It is shit when you get ganked but it is what it is . I actual think what is anyone proving when three or four plays gang up on a solo players. Good video great attitude. Don't normally comment on UA-cam but felt this deserved it, well said....
PVPers hated the Rifle-Turtle build... for one reason... The WIDDZ build was useless when using the Turtle-Rifle build... that is why Rifle gets nerfed, together with the M700 sniper rifle. Regarding DZ is hostile and all you find is asshats, that is Wrong, at this point I would like to send a shoutout to @xDarkangel420 and @NeyNey who did not gank me or grief me (on PC) they even were nice enough to help me after watching me to try to help them on a tricky situation where I could have stolen the loot and run... being nice sometimes pays off, and having people skills of cause is not a bad thing neither. Big respect xDarkangel420 and NeyNey for respecting a noob and showing me the game
NapFloridian when I first started playing ppl were cool as hell, fighting landmarks together and reviving, not takin each other’s shit etc but now that shit Is a war zone😂 Shits wild man
well i hope i meet those people you mention on console version, because i believe, not so many people kind enough to help newbie on big game, and they have my salute.
Exactly, a three or four vs one gank should never bother you, save the ' bothering' for when another solo takes you out instead, then learn from it....solid vid.
HUGE TIP:You can see what stats contaminated gear have. If you look at it for a second its showing messed up versions of the item. You can usually determine the skills and if it holds any value. This saves getting gear with talents you dont need
The other day, my buddy and I found us a random dude. He tagged along with us and helped with the pve. We always kept a close eye on him, nope never shot at us. We even drop our contaminated items together and walked away. What a strange experince it was.
Good video and it echoes my opinions about being solo in the Dark Zone. I have to say my experiences have been almost all positive. First time I ventured in after the tutorial mission I was fighting a NPCs and a Boss. Someone was cool enough to help me out and we wound up running around to various Landmarks and clearing them. A couple more peeps joined us and we rolled thick through about 6 Landmarks. I went up 11 levels in about 45 mins ! I branched off to attach my stash onto a helicopter and I noticed almost all the people I was with turned Rogue (I saw the blurbs on the screen at the bottom). I high-tailed it out of Dodge ! Bottom line: Have fun but trust NO ONE !
People make these dark zones sound waaay too serious. Its not as cut throat as many of these youtubers make it seem. I go into the dark zone atleast an hour a day since launch. Only 1 time has anybody ever tried to steal my loot from extraction. And ive only had players try to kill me 4-5 times... ever. Matter of fact. I hardly ever see any other players in the dark zone. Just build for pve in the dark zone. On the off chance u get killed... o well.
Your mileage may vary, as they say. I always go in expecting that others will try to steal my loot. About 70% of the time I try to extract something, another player (or group) tries to kill me, even if I'm in SHD status. Sometimes I get lucky and run into others who just want to team up and go PVE, but I've noticed that I'm often up against groups of three players (in the same clan), even if I'm solo, which is a very hard fight to win. At most, I've been able to take down two other players at once when I'm solo. Everyone's DZ experience will obviously vary, and I hear a lot of people saying the DZ is dead/empty, which is never the case for me.
Anton Holm same. The first time I played the Normalized DZ, ran into 4 other solo played and we all tied our loot and extracted safely. We then grouped up and ran several landmarks together. Awesome experience. However, the following 4 times I went into the DZ, they were littered with rogue squads camping near Extractions and just squad rush you and when it’s normalized, like you said, best case scenario you can take out 2 if you are lucky and they use bad positioning. so basically the DZ will not too successful without a squad
I still can't believe how many times a rogue has tried to follow me into a checkpoint, i love to pick my loot back up and stand at the door clapping 😂😂😂
Great advice. Soloing DZ brings a special level of tension, and it's always hard to find a good crew to run DZ with unless you're already in a clan. The fire turret on extraction was a great idea.
Great job man. Honest opinion, sage advice, and user-friendly!!! Wasn't a fan of the DZ in Div 1 but am willing to give it another try here in Div 2 after watching your video. Keep up the great work Agent!!!
Had literally NO issues with DZ in Div2 solo. Saw a rogues once in the distance, hid, and went to the other end of the zone and never saw them again. Also, met some quite helpful randos.
I can agree with that. I honestly dont like it when MarcoStyle or Widdz uploads a video on PvP builds and One-Shot cheese. It reduces build diversity and it'll eventually boil down to everyone running the same build, similar to how it was in Division 1 where you'd only see maybe 5 different builds in a DZ session, and maybe the Tacticians Authority every blue moon. Players should experiment with their equipment and learn what works for then. Right now I'm running an ACR and SPAS12 for PvP, both weapons that I'm comfortable and good with, not bacause it kills enemies in 1 shot, not because it melts people in 5 frames, but because I like it.
@@SDM09Tiny I'm new to the Division community and my initial impressions of both the UA-camrs you listed was not good. Are they really the go to Division content creators ?
@@Tyler7P7 For the most part, they're the main two that everyone thinks of, probably because they stream the game. But obviously Gameyhas a good idea on what he's talking about. I'd stick with him, Skill Up too though I'm not sure he does Division content on the regular.
Some informal extra rules not mentioned: Rule 1: Firing a heal chem in your direction is a near universal sign of peace/surrender. Really weird, but it has helped me get extracts on choppers with some squirrelly players, especially snipers. Just shows you probably aren't an enemy i guess. Works for me. Rule 2: If someone betrays an ally in your group, and you take them out, the jumping jacks emote is obligatory by division policy. This is a classic one. Outside betrayal jumping jacks is jank bm, but for betrayal its the only acceptable option. Rule 3: Sniper dittos Ok so this is a weird one, but in general if you see a sniper duel, dont interrupt it. Just let it happen between them until one dies, and optionally take out the survivor forthebeasiest loot you'll ever get or do some congratulatory emotes, its only respectful. Rule 4: Poker Face Believe it or not, solo players can easily get player kills, the secret is surprise. In general, if you are intent on going rogue, act casual. Make it clear you see other players, but don't make a move toward or away from them. I can't tell you how many times i've cheated a rogue from killing me by realizing they were gonna go rogue before they had their weapon ready. Rule 5: Landmarks Dont be the asshole everyone hates who interrupts a landmark attack. Finish the capture, then if you want go rogue. This is basic respect among thieves people! Rule 6: How to ultra bm The fabled ultra bm is the TRUE combo of melee-->jumping jack-->wave--> sprint circle. The perfect way to make the enemy feel like an idiot, a long time favorite of division rogues old and new. Any other informal rules and guidelines to add? Comment below
@@himbri4n BM is the art of rubbing in a particularly spectacular kill and/or to make others feel salty. The classic iI have always seen is as listed, you melee their body, then use jumping jacks emote, then wave at them in their last seconds before respawn, then sprint around them in a circle. Can't explain why but i see it all the time
I usually go in the DZ just to see what the environment looks like. I never really cared about drops and sometimes use myself as a decoy for other players to get their items extracted. I use to be angry when I would get killed but one day I changed my play style. I don't go for loot anymore so if I get killed they get nothing from me but just a few DZ credits and maybe a key, which I wouldn't use anyways since that runs the risk of me having to extract the item. Honestly I enjoy the DZ more now playing this way. Not only do I help some players that might need it but I get the satisfaction that those who killed me wasted bullets.
Good video man, I love the occupied dz, obviously now in wt5 but running solo is such a rush, bumping into duos and sqauds can be really fun, whether you play it calm and don't attack or if you stalk them until they go for an extraction mwhahaha
I once met this random and we went manhunt on a squad of 4 who kept coming back to us when we tried to extract, it was such an amazing and memorable moment lmao gave me div 1 vibes
I am a TD 1 Player and just started 2. Back in 1 i focused on grinding NPCs and everything i could get Loot, without the need to fly out. For Equipment, back then i focused on Gunplay and resillience, i climbed up to max rank DZ pretty fast. I was a solo Player, just met a few guys, trustworthy, so i stood solo.
On Xbox anyway, 4 out of 5 nights in the dark zone were quiet. Only one of the nights was it PvP hot. I solo DZ a lot and sometimes I think I am the only one in there. Tons of easy quick loot. If you playing as SHD and you die in the DZ to PvP it usually doesn't matter, as not much of the gear drops are contaminated. You keep most of not all of the gear.
I still don't understand why I never run into any peers in the DZ. I clear landmarks solo all the time and have only come across other players a handful of times. Kinda takes the fun out for me. I dunno. Great video!
Dude, this is my first Tom Clancy game EVER as silly as that sounds lmao I play the DZ all the time solo as a lvl 17-18 cuz I have no friends lol thank you for these guides🙏
I go into the DZ solo not to farm gear but for DZ resource. The one thing I don't like are the players that would run up behind you while you are busy under heavy fire from NPC's and they go rouge and put you down. I can tell these guys were going to go rouge on me just by the way they run up, ignoring the NPC's. So If you see another player run up ignoring NPCs and try to stand behind you, move to another cover or drop a hive on them or whatever on them. Even if you can't take them out at least you weaken them and hopefully those NPCs that was shooting at you would finish the job for you.
In the first game I only went in the DZ to do the weekly stuff or get Division tech. I never fired unless I needed to and I didn't clear landmarks until I had I good idea of where other people were playing. I had a pve build and didn't care to make a pvp build so I tried to leave the smallest footprint possible.
Important question! Why is it when I unload a entire mag On a player and it doesn’t even scratch their armor but they waste half a mag on me and I instantly drop like wet paper
I'm a solo player, I get performance anxiety when playing with other's, I never saw the point of entering the DZ in the first game but now that there is a chance to get non-contaminated loot In D2. I might have a wonder around and just ignore the contaminated stuff that drops. If I don't lose much if I get ganked then I don't have a problem with it. Hell if I meet a player that doesn't shoot me straight away, if I have contaminated shit I might drop it and let them deal with it. Getting to DZ50 is more important to me than the loot right now.
The dark zone is fun as a solo player. I have just started playing. I went in at level 15 got smashed over and over by two guys who were teamed and hunting me all the time. I helped someone who was downed and got shot by them. I left with literally no new gear after nearly 2 hours. I had fun though. I just wish I could get something.
Great tips. I'm a solo player but for the most part find if I hear an extraction being called and run to help, most players or groups will let me join them. I get the occasional group or player who kills me for my stuff but like you said, it's a video game and it's part of the draw.
Okay don’t listen to this guy. THE DARK ZONE IS THE FASTEST/BEST WAY TO FARM. You want to survive in the DZ don’t watch this. Watch tutorial on building a gear set. Also, don’t be afraid to matchmake for a team. 10 minutes spent finding 3 more, will be 10 times more beneficial.
Not my experience since i only get 480 ish gear from the DZ but can consitently farm gs500 gear from pve land. Once i get that lmg the dz will be well in my rearview.
I call for the extraction that's close to checkpoint then go to the check point until about 30-35 seconds left before it leaves go to it on with a few seconds left
I was once ganged up by 2 rogue agents, even though I don't have any loot on me.. Well, at first, one of them waited me on the extraction point for my loot of course, I tracked that agent, and when I did, they happen to be a duo. That's their play, I guess.. The hell is up with dark zone players???
My advice for solo DZ run, is not to straight away start to gather loot. Wander around, find out which players tend to go rogue and which ones rather try to avoid contact or.. some may even be helpful. So when you know whom to avoid and with whom you can run together, go gather some loot and go to extract when the other players who have been nice sports do that.. so when there are many people whom you can fairly trust not to turn on you, then you stand a much better chance against rogues.. and if there are many of you, then these usually two to three people rogue groups may not even try to attack My second advice is not to stand still in cover waiting for extraction, but move around.. make sure you don't see anyone sneaking around, and just be a moving target rather than easy kill with grenade launcher. But still, move around being sure you aren't completely in open.. use the terrain and objects to give some cover.. but just don't sit waiting. Unless if you have really good higher ground defensive position and a build that allows you to stand your ground. thirdly, be good to others yourself.. go help them in fight even if you don't have anything to extract. That way you probably gain some people who would rather not attack you just for fun and may even come to revive you when they see you fall. I have been revived in DZ by random players i don't know... maybe because i have at some point helped them fight at landmarks or something And lastly. Just don't get angry or stressed when you are killed and your loot taken. Trying to go for a revenge is probably just waste more of your time. You mostly don't even know if you had anything good. So, just take it easy and go have fun.. gather new loot, help others to fight and so on. And if you want to hunt rogues, you better be good stalker.. hit them when they don't even know you are there or when they are already weakened from fighting someone else.
I have no idea how to even make a team nor invite a player? I have recieved invites and joined teams. I'm not a talker but I'm a team player. Also how do you leave a team once you joined without turning off your console?
Don't want your extractions disrupted? Call an extraction, run to the other extraction zone and extract there instead. Rogues will rush to the first one, hopefully giving you time to extract at the second one.
In Div#1 DZ solo, I ran half the map to escape a 4 man gank. Finally, finally made it to a checkpoint but it wouldn’t let me in ‘because’ I was being attacked (engaged in combat). They killed me, took my loot danced on my body, did them laugh mock thing. SHOCK and TURRET ...thank you. There is a God. Amen. Great vid GD 👍🏽
My best Dark Zone moment in the first game was when I found a supply drop and there were no enemies so I raided the crate... then they spawned in. Every single enemy that was meant to be guarding that drop spawned in, in one single tight group outside a door. They were basically right next to each other with no spacing. And they couldn't see me for some reason. I wiped them out in seconds with a machine gun and skills. Still don't know quite what happened.
thanks for the video, it really helps when you don't know what to do in this cruel world dark zone, once I picked up one player and after that he killed me)) I'm surprised what evil people are
It can get hectic in there but it really isn’t as bad as people make it seem. Have 12 hrs played in the DZs alone and came across 1 crew of three assholes. Didn’t take it personally, they were better and I switched DZs. I’ve met more friendly cool ppl that just want to group up than the alternative, now it’s when you have some sick contaminated gear you have to worry about Rouges lol. But otherwise the dz is fun af
I’ve been going into the darkzone by myself a lot and I’m doing good against enemies, but with real life players then I’m terrible at killing them lmao
Meanwile in D1 Dark Zone you can hear crickets most of the time. Its almost impossible to die to NPCs and as long as you avoid certain checkpoint left side of Bryant park, you rarely have to deal with rogues. You can easily play there for hours with no-one bothering you, lol. And nobody wants your loot.
Great video. I hate getting ganked by a group as i always go solo in the odz. However i do like the odz because of its diversity. I need to look into your discord, might be better to go as a group.
when i went into the darkzone with my friend (as he wanted to get the dz projects done) we never encountered another player. i guess its probably gonna pick up alot more when wt5 comes out. it is a pvp centric area, a wretched hive of scum and villiany. use every dirty trick in the book to win. if your ever not interested in the risks of pvp, the main game and the occupied darkzones are a great way to get good gear and avoid the ganks or the players hiding behind turrets because you want to cut them down ;3
Wow, they have different AI routines for different areas? Thats really cool, the basic open world AI is pretty good. I cant wait to check this area out more.
DZ is for cowards who can’t PvP straight up so they have to shoot people in the back or 4 vs 1 with vectors and 1 shot sniper builds. Glad the rest of the game has better ways to get gear outside that piping hot mess.
Nothing says "fuck off" like an M32 round. Got a couple rounds doing landmarks, noticed a group all getting manhunts on them just hunting innocent players, waited and sneaked around til they were heading to extract all their loot. Got em all in one fell swoop. God, i never felt so good. Personally, my best friend is unpredictability. Lead people to a called extraction with no one there and use the safehouse if you need to. And be prepared to be attacked at any moment, always be watching for players. Cause you never know.
Thanks again. Think like an alley cat or raccoon when you're in the Dark Zone. Sneak around, avoid Rogues and use the corners of the map to keep your back to the wall.
My number tip for running the Dark Zone. NEVER EVER have a chest piece with Glass canon or Perfect Glass canon on. You will get melted in a matter of seconds. Learnt that the hard way while having a Pestilence getting ready to extract.
The moment a player ganks you, they made it personal. The "Don't take it personally" argument is contradicted once people make targets of people, even if it is on a game. Wherever that's a good or bad thing depends. But it IS personal. In good ways and bad ways alike. People WILL take it personally. Either bonding and getting on or falling out. That's just reality.
they’re scrambled cause they don’t roll till you extract them so they’re an up to your level. if you steal someone else gear then it’s still an upgrade to your personal gear
This is my first division game so I got really confused with DZ, as fun as it could have been being completely pve, that weird atmosphere of cutthroat subterfuge fits in really well with an apocalyptic setting.
Even if your built toward pve, you can still do alot of damage. The key is to not get hit. And cunning is a valuable trait because skills are abundant and full active with mods, even if the mods don't work in story session. Riot foam isn't dumb nor is the firefly. Rememeber if a grenade is thrown by you, they hurt like a Mf. And OUTDATED GEAR MEANS 0 in the darkzone, you got a old ass lvl 16 gold rifle that has everything on it, but it's just out dated. Still take it, normalized is what pvp centers on and flourishes at, all balanced, only your skills and mods affect you. I have killed rougues a few times with my extended mag 1911. Talents also severely affect your gameplay, bread basket and berserker are definitally some pocket dps boosters.
Eh loot or not some will go rogue for the hell of it. I'm *usually* not one (because i have had my ass handed to me many times and know how it feels). I understand though. In the end if you get killed remember that it's just a game
I didnt play div 1 i got sent a promo copy at work for div 2. Wow serouisly good the amount of content is insane. I usually have the hate on with Ubisoft nowadays i find that they rush cheap stuff.div 2 is awesome.
Solo play in the Dark Zone requires you to be cunning and ready for anything. Please leave DZ tricks and tips below! Thanks Agents

@@ItzKamo Solo PVP in this DZ? Not as viable as TD 1.
The dz supplie drop the difference between claim and steel is that if you steel you get more special ammo and better loot (sometimes) than claim.
SDM09 Thank you! This was a big help! I took down a 4 man rouge squad just following these tips.
Enter Vegito Blue!
Nice to see someone getting use from this wall of text lol
SDM09 yea lol, it took me a good 10 minutes to read but it was worth it!
Enter Vegito Blue! Were you running solo by chance? Curious if anyone tried this alone, cause I know I can’t lol
Excellent post.
i have had a 4 man rouge team roll up on my extraction and i just deleted all my items , they were so mad . Guess killing me for zero loot wasn't what they expected to happen . : )
That a good ohne i think i am gonna use that to just delete it thanks for it
hahaha! I love that tactic.
I like to run around with one green mask ...that pisses off the rouges at extraction!
Hahahaha.......that’s awesome!!
They don’t kill you for the loot they do it to make you mad this is a toxic game always has been and always will be, but we love it
That's why I won't go. As long as the loot isn't better in the DZ I'm cool just playing the rest of the game. I get frustrated enough with npc's, I don't need to get mad at real people too...
I had everything I needed and more in the first game without putting an single hour into the DZ. Hopefully it's the same in TD2.

Sir NaOH- that’s what I do, full stealth, I actually find that more exciting.
It's SOOOOO satisfying when I'm playing solo and a group of 2 (usually not 3 or more because I die) people go rouge and I manage to kill them both without much difficulty
If I see a group of rogues and I don't have loot on me or loot I care about (I delete it) I just try to take down as many as I can which is ussually 1-2 downed and 1 of the 2 killed before I'm dead, if you can't kill the whole group, kill a few so other players who are near your position can finish them off.
sword art online fatal bullet and the crew 2 are better! no butthole agent's! cant even get one gear!

😂😂 Big Facts
I go into the Dark Zone solo every time. Sometimes it can get frustrating if you run into Rogues who KOS but more often then not if you jump in and help a player/group kill some enemies from a Landmark, after the fight you will get an invite to join them. I’ve even revived randoms then afterwards you join up and make a squad.
And clearing a Landmark or Supply Drop solo is so satisfying when you make all the right plays. It definitely makes you a better player.
Or after you help them clear it they then put you down......ungrateful bastards!

@@IlDeimos sounds hilarious. I've never actually used the firefly or seen one being used. Now I wanna go look for videos of this happening.
for people who don’t want to go in you really should, it’s a feeling you aren’t going to have anywhere else on any other game. just don’t let dying to a$$holes get to you & it is a unique experience
Yeah u see u completely lost me when u said it's full of aresholes
weediestbroom ha but I didn’t. just that’s the worse of it. there’s farmers, there’s players that only pvp w/ players that want pvp, there’s rogues that aren’t salty or trash talkers just there to fight players & then there’s the a$$holes & there multiple forms
so I did PvP in other games in the past.
I work a full time job, and value my time spent infront of this damn screen, and frankly "a beautiful experience" or "DZ is lots of fun" just isint enough to convince me
"It's just a game"
Big respect to you for this mindset. On the gaming end of the internet in these days it's easy to get the impression that many gamers forget this.
When extracting don't stay at the zone, retreat a bit away and observe. Sometimes npcs won't spawn. Or you can watch other players.
Your point of view about DZ is awesome. Keep up the good work
I barelyeven touch the DZ cause of the bs people do.
True solo here
rule #1 truly is DON’T take it personally
Actually this, I cannot tell you how annoying it is getting hate mailed afterwards after going rogue.

I was gonna add that, but I thought, Nah! The OG's will know. Good catch.
Definitely enjoying the dark zone more in div 2 then in div1 lol I feel like it's alot more fair for everyone to come in and have a good time lol
The other day, my buddy and I found us a random dude. He tagged along with us and helped with the pve.
We always kept a close eye on him, nope never shot at us. We even drop our contaminated items together and walked away.
What a strange experince it was.
Blinkster93 I did this the other day are you on ps4 it may have been me
Sounds like me too
I never play pvp modes
Story games and pve is where your time is worth.
On the off chance u get killed... o well.
I don't know what kind of dz you have ^^ but it happens a lot in mine
Been in Dz twice was killed 4 times by different groups
Anton Holm same. The first time I played the Normalized DZ, ran into 4 other solo played and we all tied our loot and extracted safely. We then grouped up and ran several landmarks together. Awesome experience. However, the following 4 times I went into the DZ, they were littered with rogue squads camping near Extractions and just squad rush you and when it’s normalized, like you said, best case scenario you can take out 2 if you are lucky and they use bad positioning. so basically the DZ will not too successful without a squad
I agree if never seen anyone in the dz and I'm t5
Great vid! Especially regarding the attitude...sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but it's just a video game so have fun.
I'll be honest the prospect of exclusively running into one or two meta builds in the DZ is one of the many reasons I stay away

Some informal extra rules not mentioned:
Rule 1: Firing a heal chem in your direction is a near universal sign of peace/surrender.
Rule 3: Sniper dittos
Ok so this is a weird one, but in general if you see a sniper duel, dont interrupt it. Just let it happen between them until one dies, and optionally take out the survivor forthebeasiest loot you'll ever get or do some congratulatory emotes, its only respectful.
Rule 4: Poker Face
Believe it or not, solo players can easily get player kills, the secret is surprise.
In general, if you are intent on going rogue, act casual. Make it clear you see other players, but don't make a move toward or away from them.
I can't tell you how many times i've cheated a rogue from killing me by realizing they were gonna go rogue before they had their weapon ready.
Rule 5: Landmarks
Dont be the asshole everyone hates who interrupts a landmark attack. Finish the capture, then if you want go rogue. This is basic respect among thieves people!
Rule 6: How to ultra bm
The fabled ultra bm is the TRUE combo of melee-->jumping jack-->wave--> sprint circle. The perfect way to make the enemy feel like an idiot, a long time favorite of division rogues old and new.
Any other informal rules and guidelines to add? Comment below
Zander The Amazing plz explain #6
@@himbri4n BM is the art of rubbing in a particularly spectacular kill and/or to make others feel salty. The classic iI have always seen is as listed, you melee their body, then use jumping jacks emote, then wave at them in their last seconds before respawn, then sprint around them in a circle.

Great guide man. I really appreciate the positivity. Cheers!
I can use a decoy. Do you play on xbox one?

That is something l would like to know. U don't seem to be able to kill them, no matter what U do.
Great video thanks for the information about the dark zone
The dark zone is fun as a solo player. I have just started playing. I went in at level 15 got smashed over and over by two guys who were teamed and hunting me all the time. I helped someone who was downed and got shot by them. I left with literally no new gear after nearly 2 hours. I had fun though. I just wish I could get something.
Sounds like fun. Washington your time and getting clapped. Exactly what i want when i play games.
Say man! Good video. Pleasant a good vibe reminding people its a GAME. chive on man!
Grate video! Very informative and practical. I admit that I took things personally a lot in the first Division.
Great tips. I'm a solo player but for the most part find if I hear an extraction being called and run to help, most players or groups will let me join them. I get the occasional group or player who kills me for my stuff but like you said, it's a video game and it's part of the draw.
I went back to Division 1, i can't stand anymore the DZ in Division 2 :/ maybe after world tier 5 armor would be stronger .... will see.
same here i play pve in division 2 but for my darkzone fix i still play division 1
So when you know whom to avoid and with whom you can run together, go gather some loot and go to extract when the other players who have been nice sports do that.. so when there are many people whom you can fairly trust not to turn on you, then you stand a much better chance against rogues.. and if there are many of you, then these usually two to three people rogue groups may not even try to attack
My second advice is not to stand still in cover waiting for extraction, but move around.. make sure you don't see anyone sneaking around, and just be a moving target rather than easy kill with grenade launcher.
I have been revived in DZ by random players i don't know... maybe because i have at some point helped them fight at landmarks or something
And lastly.
That was well informed, Thank You very much for the heads up, Cher Bro
In Div#1 DZ solo, I ran half the map to escape a 4 man gank. Finally, finally made it to a checkpoint but it wouldn’t let me in ‘because’ I was being attacked (engaged in combat). They killed me, took my loot danced on my body, did them laugh mock thing. SHOCK and TURRET ...thank you. There is a God. Amen. Great vid GD 👍🏽
Thanks for the tips man, planning to get into DZ once hit max
Could you possibly make an updated version?
Thanks again. Think like an alley cat or raccoon when you're in the Dark Zone. Sneak around, avoid Rogues and use the corners of the map to keep your back to the wall.
Man, solo dark zone is what i *live* for
You don’t have to share loot when u steal airdrops or anything
Great vid and advice! I try and solo it out at least every run
You really felt the need to tell me that
I’m a solo thanks for these tips 👍
Perfect...thank you so much😷🤟🏻
Thank you so much your words are helpful

Gamer daddy I do enjoy your videos and builds. Keep up good work.
Nice video. I don't care about the dark zone but this was entertaining to watch at least.
Eh loot or not some will go rogue for the hell of it. I'm *usually* not one (because i have had my ass handed to me many times and know how it feels). I understand though. In the end if you get killed remember that it's just a game
Man great view on the Dark Zone, really enjoyed all the points you made....great way to put it.
This was a very well constructed and well said video. Thanks for the advice. Just earned a sub! :D
Yo i love using that explosive turret idea
I didnt play div 1 i got sent a promo copy at work for div 2. Wow serouisly good the amount of content is insane. I usually have the hate on with Ubisoft nowadays i find that they rush cheap stuff.div 2 is awesome.
Some great tips.thanks.
