But...the traffic lights there were about a mile apart, and the speed limit was 55. So, I said to myself, what the hell? Right? And I put my foot down, figuring to not exceed 55. I got to the next traffic light. stopped. The dude, with lovely young girlfriend next to him, caught up. His jaw was pretty much on the floor, mouth hanging wide open. She was laughing her behind off.

I’m surprised that with 973 they haven’t tried an attack helicopter or tank. If the vehicle can be damaged and even 973, you’d think that maybe trashing the vehicle beyond working condition would leave it possibly neutralized. Unless it simply remanifests.

That's how accidents happen. Like would this scp even have noticed or interacted with them if it just thought there was an empty car on the side of the road or one that's committing no road violations whatsoever? All you'd have to do is pull over, sleep until morning, and you'll be perfectly safe both from this scp and from your own impaired driving. So always just pull over if you get tired, by keeping going you're just putting lives in danger, including your own. Honestly tge smart option for neutralizing it is to just set up free rest-stops on either side of the strip of highway, have a checkpoint to reinforce the importance of safe driving due to that part of the highway having "environmental hazards" that are extremely dangerous at speeds over or a lot slower than the speed limit, especially at night, so drivers need to be focused, alert, and careful. And then say that the road conditions will improve again after the checkpoint on the other side of that stretch of highway. No one will be bothered, no need to blow up the road, the scp can be very easily monitored. all good all good.
