The one thing that elevates 096 over most other murder monsters is his sympathetic side. He doesn’t want to kill but some anomalous trauma forces him too, whoch only compounds the trauma further. So this is a nice ending for him. It appears superficial at first but in the end it isn’t just that he’s hot it’s that he was remade into the beautiful person he really deserved to be.
Honestly, I'm going to consider this the canonical ending to 096's story, he's honestly one of very few SCP entities I've felt deserved a happy ending. The fact it also includes the scientist that otherwise might have lost her job over her recklessness not only keeping her job for permanently pacifying a previously constant ticking time bomb, but also potentially getting literally the most handsome boyfriend in the world (likely foundation approved to continue as to not cause a negative reaction in 096), I'd say this is is a well-deserved ending for an entity suffering that long.

I feel like at this point, according to this channel, SCP-914 is a machine which if you don’t specifically want something, you get something random. But if you specifically want something, you get what you want. I think that’s really nice of SCP-914.

I'm pretty sure the last documented time a human went in, they gained superstrength and superspeed and had to be killed. But it lengthening your hair and smoothing your skin on VERY FINE? If I remember the wiki entry and related tales well enough, 914 does sort of read your mind when transmuting the object. The mad super speed, super strength man that got mentioned in someone's else comment was a D-Class with a record for murder and other violent tendencies, the doctor in charge had read his record and that was his preconception of him. Perhaps the girl that put herself on very fine had a preconception of her ideal self, and the machine read that.

Not only is he handsome and pure of heart, but he’s likely stronger too due to the very fine setting. They’re lucky that statue was in there, or else you’d have an even stronger murder machine. One interesting thing is that if a containment breach were to happen now, perhaps David would be able to help them contain it. If SCP-096 was near indestructible before, what about now? Perhaps it could even go toe-to-toe with SCP-682? That would be a battle for the ages.
Actually the old scp 096 fought scp 682 and it was a draw although scp 096 refused to fight it again but now thwt he is much stronger he would probably easily win
I’d love a continuation of this storyline where David is offered a job wrangling dangerous SCPs like 682 after a containment breech, or them making sure the Yule Man sees David’s face then using his tracking ability to find the workshop and save the kids.
096 has always been a tragic scp, i think it's almost certain that it has no real desire to harm people in most SCP canons and i'm glad that, even in just this one timeline, it finally managed to find peace and happiness, not just being destroyed or contained so it can (hopefully) no longer harm people.

im honestly just so happy to see him so much more content. sweet thing really gets what its like to fully hate yourself, to be ashamed and not want anyone to have the displeasure of seeing you. makes me feel all warm to see hes happy for once.

By far one of my favorite SCP stories! I never thought I'd see the day when 096 was rehabilitated and happy! Honestly, this makes me want a part 2, so we can see what a day in the new 096s life would be! I'd also love to see what happens between him and Dr. Bonita!
Maybe they can include "Handsome Guy" in a future "What if" cartoon as a guest appearance as a callback and a brief "what happened next?". Also would be a good hook to link back to this video.
Imagine being Dr. Dan, killing tens of hundreds of people, then you get told of a new change, armed with a nightstick, you march to the containment cell, scared. He's just cool now, and you are then terminated for crimes against the foundation.

Honestly, I really like SCP stories like these. Kind of refreshing to the usual gloom and doom and nice to know that there can be some very happy endings for both people and anomalies in the SCP multiverse.

096 isn't that hard to contain because by its nature it's kind of self containing, it kills anyone who triggers it by looking at a picture of its face. The Foundation is obviously very capable of censoring 99% of such images, but it'd be impossible to be sure that they eliminated them all.

This one is probably one of my favorites, honestly this is probably the best possible way 096 could be neutralized and I honestly felt nothing but happiness for them. Honestly, even if this isn't canon, I'm pretending it is because David deserves that.
I like these sorts of cross tests. So much of the SCP community loves blood and gore, and getting the highest body count possible or see how well they can describe something doing lovecraftian things to a persons mind. It's nice to see a few happy stories here and there. :)

So, basically, SCP-096 has been neutralized by being merged with a statue of David and SCP-914 and all because of Dr. Bonita's carelessness? Who knew it would be THAT easy to render the Shy Guy harmless? But I think the anomalous nature of SCP-096 has been altered to be charming to those not attracted to it and those who are unable to take their eyes off the altered SCP-096 form. Not only is he handsome and pure of heart, but he’s likely stronger too due to the very fine setting. They’re lucky that statue was in there, or else you’d have an even stronger murder machine.
One interesting thing is that if a containment breach were to happen now, perhaps David would be able to help them contain it. If SCP-096 was near indestructible before, what about now? Perhaps it could even go toe-to-toe with SCP-682? That would be a battle for the ages.

I’d love a continuation of this storyline where David is offered a job wrangling dangerous SCPs like 682 after a containment breech, or them making sure the Yule Man sees David’s face then using his tracking ability to find the workshop and save the kids.
096 has always been a tragic scp, i think it's almost certain that it has no real desire to harm people in most SCP canons and i'm glad that, even in just this one timeline, it finally managed to find peace and happiness, not just being destroyed or contained so it can (hopefully) no longer harm people.

@@prophecy5886 there's a tale where it's set against 173 and peanut actually manages to break one of it's bones, and it doesn't heal, so the foundation injects acid into the gap in the bone and then has a firing squad open fire on it, which manages to finally kill it since it's skeleton, the only indestructible part of it, is finally broken

im honestly just so happy to see him so much more content. sweet thing really gets what its like to fully hate yourself, to be ashamed and not want anyone to have the displeasure of seeing you. makes me feel all warm to see hes happy for once.
I love how this came around to a happy ending not just for the foundation in not losing personnel but also for 096, finally he’s allowed to be happy. :)

Honestly, I really like SCP stories like these. Kind of refreshing to the usual gloom and doom and nice to know that there can be some very happy endings for both people and anomalies in the SCP multiverse.

They always found 096 nearly impossible to deal with as their whole goal is to contain SCP’s and if containment was possible that they would contain it rather than kill it
Turning 096 from a containable but absurdly unpredictable and dangerous SCP into a peaceful and calm giant makes their life so much easier
096 isn't that hard to contain because by its nature it's kind of self containing, it kills anyone who triggers it by looking at a picture of its face. The Foundation is obviously very capable of censoring 99% of such images, but it'd be impossible to be sure that they eliminated them all.

This one is probably one of my favorites, honestly this is probably the best possible way 096 could be neutralized and I honestly felt nothing but happiness for them. Honestly, even if this isn't canon, I'm pretending it is because David deserves that.
There’s no such thing as a canon SCP tales. all the objects from 001-8000 exist together though, you can choose whatever head canon you want.
I for one am actually glad this channel is doing more of the What If type of stories now. I really like it.

I like these sorts of cross tests. So much of the SCP community loves blood and gore, and getting the highest body count possible or see how well they can describe something doing lovecraftian things to a persons mind.

So, basically, SCP-096 has been neutralized by being merged with a statue of David and SCP-914 and all because of Dr. Bonita's carelessness? Who knew it would be THAT easy to render the Shy Guy harmless? But I think the anomalous nature of SCP-096 has been altered to be charming to those not attracted to it and those who are unable to take their eyes off the altered SCP-096 form. (Still sort of a reverse of SCP-173)

It's rather fitting that the reformed 096 chose the name David, considering that was the name of the statue that played a part in his transformation.
Handsome SCP-096 is my new headcanon now. It shows that the foundation can help some anomalies to releave their pain and end their suffering instead of just containing or experiment on them. Even if its unintended.
