I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry at a show in Chicago in 2007 @ The Empty Bottle where he signed my Inventions LP. Couldn't have been a nicer guy. His memory lives on in his music and his spirit. RIP Jerry. You will not be forgotten.
One of the best live performances I've heard. Usually they are so distorted. R.I.P. Jerry - you're the only one I've seen that comes close to playing like my brother - may God soothe his savage soul.
been playing drums for nearly 35 years. Here's one drummer I am gutted never to have seen playing live, along with Bonham , Moon, Mitchel et al........
@Troopride The drummer, Jerry Fuchs, fell down an elevator shaft at a benefit concert as he was trying to jump from a stuck elevator. Kick ass drummer, but if you really wanna see him flip out, look up one of his other bands "turing maching". Mad drummin
saw these guys open for some wanky doofus in Seattle a couple years back. half the people left after they played, complaining that they should have headlined...great band, I expect to be notified via myspace when their in seattle again... ;o)
I'm heavy into both maserati and the mercury program, but I don't think saying that the band is repetitive doesn't apply to mercury as well. Both bands spend a lot of time vamping, and there are subtle changes along the way in both. Either way, did you know that the mercury program has a new CD coming out?
i realy realy like this track , bought the cd almost straight away the drummer is varkn really good just wish a litle the guitar was a bit stronger , bit more clear, but yeah , apiece of art
These guys are great and the drummer is amazing but i have to say out of all the post-rock bands The Mercury Program is defenitley the best, check em out. The only thing i dont like about Maserati is how repetitive they are :[

Brilliant drummer. Perhaps best I've ever seen and heard.

I was going to compare them to Turing Machine, and now I know why. Awesome.
I love this shit. I'm ordering a third album from them this week. nice.
