Been an audio guy for 50+ years. That being said, I don't understand why people review speakers like this with only synthesised music. Play something real like piano, guitar, bass, vocals, drums, etc. Other than that, your review was very good.
So in the last 50years, how do you liked your video reviews? What is he supposed to show you, that you can not see on pictures or read in a review? If you do not want to hear it, then do NOT watch video reviews, HOW HARD can it be?
It’s not a bad speaker. Yeah, you’re not going to get a really heavy bass sound with it, but it’s great for its size. I’ve seen many others near this size that had limited volume and no bass at all. It pairs quickly, and stays paired. The battery life on this is great, and worth it for just that. The only thing I would like them to add is a better range. It says 60 ft, but a wall in between can cut that, especially a metal wall. Otherwise, I notice no distortion in the sound when played full blast, and the volume itself is decent. I would play this in a loud factory, and was able to hear it well over the machinery. Also, you can stand it on end if you only have a small area to keep a speaker in. This is a good, durable, everyday speaker for both indoors and out.
I've never really understood why in reviews of speakers, laptops etc, half the video is the speakers playing at the mic. it doesn't provide an accurate or even remotely useful idea of what the sound is like...
+Hunter Poelsma audio products are difficult to review because it's not just the playback but the mic that picks up the audio that can change the perception of the quality. So this is the best anyone can do
Tablets for Me not only the mic, but the viewer's audio equipment at the other end. A better way would be to spend more time describing the sound - ie how did they personally use the device after they heard it in person? How did it fit in their life? Did it surprise them, etc etc
I bought an red Anker sound core speaker. The colour is the same sharp red as my JBL GO. At the moment(2017.4.15), JBL Go is $24 and Anker soundcore red is $38 on Amazon website. Obviously the sound quality of Soundcore is much better than Go. Besides this, the playback time of Soundcore is amazing(20 hours) given it size. However, Go is about more than 50% of the size of Soundcore can only playback for 5 hours which is quite annoying. As as a result, you basically have to recharge it after half an day of use. Hope this give others some information how the Soundcore is worthy its cost.
May 2020. Sounds really god. Look that basses. I'm thinking to buy this one vs Xiaomi Bluethoot Speaker or maybe UE BOOM 3. The idea is use it sometimes outside, but first to all in the laptop or celphone at home. What do you think?
Hi! Great video! I have a question for you! I want to buy an Anker speaker and I am in doubt between the one in the video (Anker Sound Core) and the Anker a3143..... What is the best?? Thanks a lot!
+Massimiliano Robbiani The anker sound core is the newest speaker and has longer battery life. The a3143 has only 8 hours of playback vs the 24 hours of battery life. I like the size and compact nature of this model over the a3143. I also find the sound better and base more responsive on this model
+Tablets for Me thanks for the answer! Other 2 questions :what is the most powerful between the two?? And overall what is for you the best speaker in this range of price (60 €)?
A friend of mine has this and first thing I noticed is that it lacked bass. Bass is there but feels like it's hidden behind the mid and treble. It's not upfront. As you can certainly tell from vid, treble is very prominent. I say if you listen to a lot of bass heavy music, youll be disappointed. But if you are listening to the music this guy is listening too, you'll like it because highs are pretty bright, not clean, but bright. If you want a more natural sound, I'd say look elsewhere. Overall, I was impressed by the sound, but I feel like it only barely beats my Seedforce SK-100 outdoor speaker. Hope this helps anyone who's also looking to purchase this speaker. Overall he did a good job with the review but like other people were saying, try reviewing with more mainstream music.
Kampos Campos i do too.. i couldnt live without the bass from my jbl but the one i use most on casual days when i dont want over kill i use the soundcore for loud voice (also for shows and documentaries)
I returned it because the charging cable is about a foot long and it was impossible to plug it into the wall charger and set it either on the floor or on a desk/table. Being disabled I am not inclined to go to the floor to plugin my speaker, which will remain plugged in 99% of time I use it.
This speaker doesn't stay paired to multiple devices. I have to choose between my laptop and my phone. When I pair one, it unpairs the other and vice versa. Not the most convenient. The Doss Bluetooth speakers (similar price) don't have this problem.
They just sold about 6000 of these to people on an Amazon special deal, including me and I just watched your video, I wish you would have played some music with voice in it, I wanted to hear mid tones. But Thanks.

+Glenn Martin These devices really don't reproduce with any degree of accuracy - and they aren't meant to. Audio Novelties ... ???
+Edward Alvin he has a point tho people need to play serten songs that show the mids treble and bass

Or you could have had a friend buy a longer cable at the dollar store.
One day one of your friends will tip-x a W to prefix the brand name.
I want to use the Anker SoundCore as my computer speaker, but it will not pair.

sound wise you really can't tell how good or bad it is from a youtube video.
how loud was it
