You are so much fun! Crown yourself! You do make me smile. Thanks for sharing: yay you! Treat others like you wanna be treated it’s the simplicity in life that makes it lovely. You are a lovely creative human thank you for all that you share!
Robyn this is genius, I’m playing with this technique tonight. I was wondering how are you making that big circle in a circle? I’m loving your channel and being a patron.
As always, I love your energy. I’m now a Patreon member but lost in the incredible library of goodies! So worth it! My husband misses me and that’s saying a lot when you are in quarantine! Lol!
I just want you to know that you genuinely inspire me to "kill the critic" and actually experiment. Your energy is delightful. I could spend ALL day watching your videos. I'll be subscribing to Patreon. For as much as you inspire others, you should be compensated in kind. LOVE your work and your spirit!
Robyn, love your videos. Love the length. Please don't change.itnis true that for most other people I just hit fast forward. For you I don't want to miss a thing. Rhank you for sharing. Can't wait to try these new technique. Yes you are royalty. 🥰
Wilma thank you for sharing, so sweet to say, I appreciate knowing that others are enjoying what I share. That's why I do these videos because I love community and we have a beautiful group of Creators here! Happy Creating xoxo
Great video learning today!! If you want to stamp in white on the black spot, use your acrylic paint and wash stamp immediately. White stamping would look amazing. Thanks for all you teach us!
Wow Brilliant Betsy! Now how long would guess would have taken me to think of that...probably a very long time it always amazes me how the little things can get by! Thx :)
I been binge watching you for a couple weeks now... you were a lost channel I subscribed to at some point and never popped up in my notifications (happens a lot that’s why that bell is important) I started watching you then popped over to see Seth (now waiting on my second class from him to drop so let Seth know you sent me over to see him lol) I wish I had a good printer for printable so... not yet maybe in the future BUT I am loving your videos and your process!
Oh how I love hearing that Cynthia because our individual voice is like our finger prints one of a kind and it so important that we stand in our authenticity there is beautiful power there! :)
Omg, I’m obviously not watching your videos (my current obsession) in date order and I just yesterday, commented a request for you to please, please, please, create stencils and stamps in your beautiful intuitive fonts and in this video, you said you’re doing it!! WOW, see, we’re totally on the same wavelength here! Where can I find those items, Robyn? Are they available yet? I’m really excited. I want some of your RM brushes, too. :-) And my goodness, your gelli-prints are GORGEOUS!!!! I’m going to have to put on a bib from all this drooling, lol!!
Just found you and love your work and passion! Great to visit with you in your garage while being trapped in my NYC apartment. Got excited and ordered the mica powders. Thanks so much.
Love the micas! I’ve been needing tutorials on how to use them. Found you thru Andrea. Can you tell me....what was the ink you used when you did your script? TYFS! NEW SUBBIE HERE MICHIGAN USA ❤️🦋💜
That's good to hear, I worry about keeping the pace up so that folks get the most out of the videos for the time spent again, Thank you for sharing xoxo
I love these two techniques with the mica powder-incredible results! I’m confused about the brush you used for burnishing the powders on the plate. The bristle on it looks fairly wide, but the brush in the link you provide looks much narrower. Thank you! Laurel
Hi, I’m the guy who makes the brushes. Thank you for your question. The brush Robyn used has a bristle that’s about 8mm in diameter where the bristle meets the handle. And the bristle is about an inch long. The bristle can splay quite a bit and is designed for that. As an aside, splaying out the tip and doing light strokes is a great way to paint the look of grasses, branches or fine hairs. Or you can splay it and have a nice wide line which is what Robyn did. You can also lightly dab the tip to the paper when splayed to create the effect of leaves. After the bristle is dipped in ink or paint and rolled back and forth a little, it will go right back to having the fine point shown on the link. My brushes are based on Calligraphy brushes due to the versatility they offer. The filaments on my synthetic bristles are also all tapered at the tip to help produce a very fine line. And they'll last for 20 years with reasonable care.
Hi Robyn. Late to the show, but I still enjoyed it gratefully. I have one question; When using the small gelli plate, you were using just a portion of the paper in each instance. Did you return and have more of a play? Hugs to you!
Gorgeous, always look forward to Saturday morning to see your new creations. Do you have a link for the onion paper you use to print your beautiful papers on? Thank you for making this quarantine Saturday a good one.
Hi Dinie Thank You so very much being a part of this community! Onionskin is hard to find and crazy expensive these days once the ebayer's caught on to how much we like it and are willing to pay I've had another follower ask me about Onionskin recently let me see if I can skim some off of my stash :) Give me a few days but please keep me reminded you can email me at info@robynmcclendon.com Take Care! :)
That was a shape I made in Photoshop using one of my Gelli Print images. The Printables are all done in Photoshop using my images, vintage ephemera and photos :)
Hi, Robyn, it is such a treat to find a video from you in my mailbox, especially during these strange times! I loved what you did with the mica flakes! I have a question about the April printables. Are they separate from our patreon and beyond? Stay well.
Hi Marilyn if you are in the BTS level then the Monthly Design Team Printables come with those benefits, I also given all of my Patrons Monthly downloadables that are different, like the stamps and other ephemera I'm using in projects so that you guys can have them too. Thx for supporting me on Patreon and being a Creator in that community! xoxo
@@RobynMcClendon Thanks, Robyn. I have so enjoyed your videos. I would love to take a class with you sometime. Do you ever get out to the Pacific Northwest?

That's so funny I think there some insider information going on...lol Well all I can say, get them :) So so gorgeous it changes the game on pulling prints with an incredible luster!
@@RobynMcClendon nooooo. I was joking. Lol I think it's neat really. Because I like that you show us just what we can do with it. No way do I think that. Sorry I mislead.
I don't get why UA-cam cares how long a video is because they break in with ads every time you turn around. Some videos can have FIVE ADS happen during one video!
Hi Valerie delete the file on your computer and then download it again there was probably an error during download. That can happen and especially with the overload to the network that we all are experiencing. Let me know how you make out. If you continue to have an error I can send them to you as a drop box file:)
@@RobynMcClendon Thanks Robyn. I’ve tried accessing these files on every device I have, but have no success. The Teachable download page won’t download at all, except on my Kindle, which says file is too large or corrupted. Ipad Pro downloaded the pictures but gives no option to print. Also same on Macbook Pro and Chromebook. Very puzzling. Sorry to be such a hassle but I really wanted to use these images.
Thanks, Robyn. Very interesting. But please wear a mask when working with powders. I am a fabric dyer and when I teach, I always stress the importance of wearing a mask when working with powders. They can get into your lungs and cause havoc. Especially now, taking care of your lungs is really important.
Diane Franklin, Robyn, I have worked with powdered pigment in the past. There are so many carcinogens in paints. You are good with a mask. Maybe call the company and see what they recommend. Just, please take care of you. I just found you on line and hope to have a long relationship. Just FYI.
Robyn, are you aware that there is a woman's face in the page of today's journal work? The page that was already in the book (mostly black page), it looks like there is a woman's eye in the brownish area, above that is her eyebrow, the majority of the black is her hair framing her face. I point this out because - if you can see it, it's cool - and I kind of hope you don't cover it. Your journal, your call of course, but wanted to see if you could see it. Am I the only one who does?
I like the excitement in your voice when you do some new stuff.
