Thank you Robin, I'm on the wishlist. I have been gelliprinting and using the color shift colors and discovered a black paper I had, it is silhouette paper! black matte on one side and the back is a shiny white. The black side does beautiful with the color shift colors. I ordered it a long time ago on Amazon. It is by Hygloss called: Hygloss products blacksilhouette paper. Have a great week.
I just love these, Robyn! I've just ordered a set of the paints from Amazon and can't wait to try them. The sheen on them is so lovely. This is definitely a video I shall return to again and again to refresh my memory with all the different techniques. Thank you so much for sharing them with us!
Okay!!! This is so very beautiful. And frustrating. I would buy a package of those paints in an instant but as a massage therapist the social distancing rule has REALLY impacted my personal economy...I will put this on my list of stuff to get later when money won't be so tight. Meanwhile, I will do some gelli printing using what I have on hand and the inspiration that you have so very kindly provided. And thank goodness we can hang out with you safe at home!
Have to make another comment..."Waste sheets" are definitely not waste when you start to look at them. How incredibly gorgeous your prints were from this session.
this is my first time watching you and I really like what I'm seeing! Actually like the ones you're disgarding on the tissue paper as well. I will subscribe and continue to watch. Thank you!
Beautiful prints and great demonstration! I find your "text" brush stroke style appealing and mysterious looking. Some of these prints could be framed and used as-is for wall art. Liked and subscribed! (=
Robyn. If I painted on a gelli plate and it dried what do I do next before I flip it over to my journal page to insure I don’t lose the image that has been painted?
Add a thin layer of a glaze color like the light golds, or Golden Quinacridone Ozo Gold it will reactivate the dry paints and help pull the image from the plate...
Lol, funny you should ask because we just had nail session chat inside my Patreon last week! I use the Kiara Sky dip powders, I do them myself at home, they are easy to do and the powders support nails with various minerals included in the formula...The best part is that they last a few weeks like acrylic or gel nails but without all of the harsh chemical, smells and heat lamps etc. and the paints wash right off! Here's links to the system to check out :) amzn.to/3djoKON Powders: amzn.to/33CLi8y
Robyn, any idea how to get on a waiting list for the 10 pack of iridescent paint? The Arteza site shows them out and I couldn't find a way to order and get on a wait or back order list. Thanks Cindy
I've checked with my contact at Arteza this morning and asked that very question I'll update you I'll probably pin a post at the top of this page with that answer and a discount code...Thx :)

Two questions: 1. How many packages of tissue paper do you go through in a week? 2. When you coffee/tea dye your "waste sheets," (I have loads of them, many of which are my favorite papers) do you spray them or use the wash cloth method? Arteza must be thrilled that you have sold out their supply of iridescent paints! S
Hi Susan, You have me smiling especially with the tissue paper question....lol I definitely go through a pack every time I do a session on the Gelli plate! I generally will spray them because the papers are so fragile when they are wet, they can get over handled if I use the wash cloth method. Also I have reached out to my contact at Arteza to see when they will restock, I'll keep you posted...Take Care! xoxo
Great question! They are more pigmented, a thicker paint and they have a lot more luminosity. Have you ever worked with the Golden Iridescents? They're more like those. I like both of them because the effects are very different. And to be honest I held off on actually trying the Arteza because I couldn't imagine how they could be much different than the Color Shifts. I had no idea that they were competing with the more expensive Golden paints for a fraction of the cost! If you were to get a box I can almost promise you won't be disappointed and wil love them and still love the color shifts too! :)

Everyone must love these paints...they are sold out ! :( I will have to live vicariously through you for now-lol
I bought three sets of the iridecents when they came back in stock 😅
I love your ideas. How do you maintain your manicure when working with paints?
The colors are beautiful, but when you started printing, WOW! your mark making really flows, mine is very jerky
Amy Vetter Thx Amy I’m going to be teaching my scripting in an online workshop in September I’ll keep you posted on UA-cam✨💫😊
Do you know what weight that black card stock is?
