Love mine w/LOK "Palm Swell Bogies" grips in red/black. I bought it because I wanted a DA/SA .45 ACP. My first CZ pistol. Definitely a tack-driver and visually a work of art. So glad I bought this.
I've had mine about 2weeks now and have put 400 rounds through it. It's already my favorite handgun. I have large hands, so it fits me just right. It is the best shooting 45 I've ever had. I shoot it better than my G21 or SR1911. I really like the look of it...all black, all business. And so far no misfeeds, misfires, or malfunctions. Great gun. Wish I'd bought one long ago.
Pick up the bd 2 days ago love it , theses guns are hard to come buy , went to buy a glock 41 , looked at the CZ section did not expect to see a 97 there bought it hands-down site seen . Thanks for the video
FYI, other CZ's like the 75 DO have a barrel bushing. They are just pressed in and pinned so they look like a bull barrel setup. No big. Good video, cover the info well. Some posts by others just wander along. Not this one.
johnbo bojohn I also picked the BD with decocker over the B model, external safety...BD cost a little bit more as well, I felt the external safety very loose
akrivosdiavolos73 DA/SA pistols are not meant to be carried like prehistoric 1911.. you have much better option with the DA for first round. btw. BD decocker mechanism spoils the trigger a bit.. standard version with safety lever is more sensitive in SA.

"Truth in advertising" you might want to have mentioned the biggest modification made was converting this pistol from DA/SA to single action only!
Is there a way to modify a 1911, so it ejects the casings to the left?
Where'd you get the all metal guide rod?
The grip panels are aluminum.
I have this in the bd version and love it. Comes with tritium night sights.

Didnt like external safety on 97b...felt very loose n flimsy..
Are those the ED97 sights from CGW? How is the accuracy on those ?
Any plans to do a video on the SA install? I can't seem to find any. I've been thinking about going to SAO for my CZ97. What are your thoughts on it?
I have large hands and hate the feel of compact pistols.
Where did you purchase your stainless steel guide rod?
Cajun Gun works or CZ Custom shop has them
can you do a SAO trigger install?
Please, can you tell me where you got the steel guide rod for the cz 97 b or bd? Thank you very much for your help.
I found a couple websites I personally have only bought from Cajun Gun Works but CZ Customs is another aftermarket store for CZ pistols
