Justin is so knowledgeable and very well spoken. Props to him and his family for being such good stewards of the land, especially this very special place. Thank you so much!
Living life can be so great. Your life may not be as adventurous or as grand as Taku and Jocelyn's. Most of us have hectic 40 or more hour a week jobs or we are barely making it in life. With all of the craziness going on in this world it is still a joy seeing Jocelyn and Taku each week on both channels showing us what's out there and possible. It sure puts a smile on my face at the end of the day!
I've lived in Oahu for over sixty years and continue learning about Hawaii's beauty. This posting has been my favorite of both channels. Content like this is so great and informative. Mahalo, Ryan, Justin, Taku, and Jocelyn. T&J, may the rest of your travels be blessed and full of adventure! 🌴🌴
This episode captured the mellow feeling you get when you are in Hawaii. There is that island thing of "Don't Worry Be Happy" Nice to learn something about a sandalwood farm. Hope that works out for the reforestation of those native trees. I feel like there is a need to return to the ways of the indigenous people. Taku is an artist with the talent, love and creativity to make food taste and look beautiful. I look forward to the New Zealand episode, a place I have always wanted to visit
I've been watching him since the beginning and this guy is truly living the life that I dreamed of but never able to do so of course I envy his life style but at least I get to come along and live that virtually online. Thanks man!
I'm so HAPPY for you two!! I'd love to travel the world, especially the South Pacific and see all the thousands of Islands out there! I hope to meet you two someday! Keep up the GREAT work! Much respect and support from Yuma, AZ. 👍👍
This was fantastic! You, Jocelyn, Ryan and Justin, I can not wait to see what you have in store for us. By the looks on the guys faces I am surprised they are letting you leave for NZ. They are only use to eating their own cooking. lol. I use to live in Hawaii and have been to NZ so I I am eagerly awaiting to see them again.
I am so excited for y’all’s new adventure! I cannot wait to see whats next! I honestly thought y’all were moving to alaska at first. But maybe later? Y’all have me living vicariously through y’all but inspiring me to start traveling again❤
Honestly this is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while I always love the content but knowing how Hawaii life is and seeing this brought me such peace ❤️🙏it was such a calming video. God bless
Mahalo for sharing this educational video. Justin provided so much information on him and his purpose with the reforestation project. Makes me miss home (Hawaii) even more.
I'm glad to see things going well for you two. Fun episode. I definitely look forward to your New Zealand videos. Hopefully you'll get the chance to do a short visit to Australia after New Zealand. Wouldn't that be the bomb!!!
I have been watching your videos for years always loved your catch and cooks and always thought would be cool to see taku here on big island and see how he would cook our local delicacys we have at the ocean and mountain. . Awesome 😎. I live in papaikou near the School about a mile and a half away from Onomea Bay.. you'll be well taken care of hwre in Hawaii the braddahz got you bro
Glad you got to see a part of our home most people don’t get to experience including people who have lived there their entire lives. The Lee family have been doing great things up there. Just fyi, most locals don’t eat knife jaws often as they do have ciguatera so enjoy it in moderation lol. Can’t wait to see more Hawaii content.
Hi Guys! Just watched your Alaska series…..loved, my faves however are all the mushroom foraging….love the one w/ the Omakase on the yacht!. Happy to see you are here in Hawaii. I hope you guys have a a meet up if you’re ever on Oahu. Mahalo for all the great content 🤙🏻🌸💗🌴
The big island is absolutely magical. I spent some time near Pahoa and it was a magic place. The the island took it back a few years ago. Sucks but thats how it is.
Hello guys I haven’t seen you since you left Alaska you both are looking well, now on the big island of Hawaii always happy to see you doing what you love is travel and explore and try new food recipes…I wish you continued success on your channels and in life god bless you and we will see you in your next video peace ✌️

It's my favorite island! Can't wait to see your New Zealand adventures bro. I'm so jealous. I've been there on business many times but have never done anything on a personal level.
Interesting video.. This guy will be up in his 80's by the time the trees are big enough to cut, I grow a variety of 'Sandalwood' it takes 30 years to even grow to a size that has a core worth harvesting.. When they started cutting up there (1990), the trees that got cut down were old, as in many 100's to 1000's of years old.. Back 200 year's ago they left all the big tree's at the top of there range thinking that the seeds will repopulate the forest... That never happened.. Using helicopters to fly loggers in and cut down old trees was greedy to the extreme.. Also keep in mind Sandalwood is in the poison oak family and some people can be highly allergic to the oil..
Justin is so knowledgeable and very well spoken. Props to him and his family for being such good stewards of the land, especially this very special place. Thank you so much!
I never get tired of seeing Taku fillet a fish.
