    Aloha, and awesome film! I worked and fished four summers at a remote fishing lodge 50 miles north of Ketchikan. No roads, power lines, or town. The wildlife, fish, crabs, prawns, and the peace and quiet made for the best summers of my life. Mahalo for bringing back the memories.

    Great documentary. I was amazed that the two Alaskan natives have Filipino ancestry and are proud of such, including Filipino food that they continue to eat.

    Thank you taku and Jocelyn so much I haven't heard my native language since my grandmother passed away 😢 I miss her dearly and one day I'll will return to Sitka were she lived for more then 50 years she was a respected mother and a respected elder in our trib she held native dance and potluck all over the tongues national forest in memory of Margaret gross hope ❤️ I love you gg and thank you taku

    Creating a stamp of the fish you caught as a family... Probably the coolest thing I've ever seen, not a clue why I've never seen that or heard of that before. That is so amazing... If I had one of those of the fish I caught with my Dad as a kid, I would cherish that for life. That is GOLD.

    It's good to remember those bodies...those fish you take, eat and help steward over. It's good to see people being mindful in that effort as we/they try to protect an increasingly fragile environment for all the animals in this ecosystem.

    I had to work late tonight, but just finished watching. AMAZING! I absolutely love the focus on sustainability by the fisherman, and the locals.     🌴 you two sneaky son of guns ! All the time up in Alaska and you were holding out on us ! And now we’re glad you did ! The amazing drone shots and underwater footage were so great , and watching that young lady catch her first salmon on a fly rod was the kicker for me , I gotta thank you guys for all the time , effort and editing you did , I’m so going to try the fish prints , I bought everything to do it already, just waiting for the right specimen to come along !
