I had D8 cat was a 1953 and a D7 same yrs they were great running machines both were cable wish i could find another
trick i learned on cable machines when miss a gear is to pull on the cable unit that will stop the trans good old dozer soundshave a few myself

I just bought a 1956 D7 17a have heads off now it was stuck from sittin 16 or 17. Years has 3500 hours on it
