  • Mangrove forests are threatened throughout tropical regions of the world. These special ecosystems provide coastal protection, store more than 3 times as much carbon dioxide as tropical upland forests, are home to more than 3,000 species of fish, are tourism hotspots, and provide economic opportunities worth over $800 billion per year. This story follow the efforts of AgroFrontera and their work to protect mangroves from illegal harvest and agricultural runoff.

    I went to a mangrove forest in India. So lush and beautiful, and so many ecosystems within. I saw plenty of birds, crabs, and even spider nests. I got scared at first but then you look deeper and it actually looks really cool. I just would never walk inside 🥲
