Artisans should charge appropriately for their work. Cake is not an easy sculptural material. Baking is also a very manual job. To me, $1000 for a custom made, labor intensive cake seems relatively appropriate.

Nonbinary falls under the trans umbrella in terms, we just prefer to use nonbinary to not take away from our trans brothers and sisters, a few other labels fall under the trans umbrella. Typically trans binary and trans nonbinary with there being queergender, agender, genderfluid so on falling under the nonbinary umbrella.
In the end however whichever label you choose to describe yourself is based on your preference and whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and seen.
There are non Binary ppl who also call themselves trans. Def a very broad spectrum. U don’t have to be binary trans to be trans.

the fact the alpacas are shorn evenly means someone there knows what they're doing. theres many things to hate shane for and his attitude towards his animals is weird but nothing about their body condition looks unhealthy or starved. also they're all girls so at least he knows that basic rule to avoid constant babies. i'm willing to bet they definitely hire someone to look after their animals, there's luckily enough money to shield them from shane's neglect.
They for sure have a farrier and farmland to shear them, at least. I’m only at 1hr 40min but I looked all of them up and none of the photos in their online galleries were full size face cakes. The $575 one was from a shop that specializes in sculpted cakes - a couple human figures as toppers but nothing with faces of that size, meaning that usually they probably just use Modelling chocolate for the actual sculpting rather than cake which is a completely diff situation. All of their other cakes look super fkn good this just isn’t their specialty.

I used to take care of other peoples horses as my literal job and it is astounding how many people simply don’t want to have anything to do with their animals aside from winning competitions by having the fanciest/most expensive animal in the barn. Shane gives those vibes as well as many other hobby farm or even dog content creators: they like the idea of the animals but don’t actually view the animal as fully sentient nor put in the effort to learn the animals’ behavior and expressions of emotion let alone respect those things.
Side note: I don’t know much about ruminants animal care but from general body condition the alpacas *appear* in good health. What Jake said were ribs actually looked more like ridges from being shorn. However, they need to more regularly clean the paddock (maybe they just haven’t done it yet that day, idk. I cleared the paddocks in the evening once the horses were in and fed. The pastures (big grass fields) weren’t mucked but were regularly walked and tended to make sure they didn’t have weeds, mud holes, broken fences, or anything unsafe) and they should have more access to hay (if they’re like horses when it comes to dirt or poor-grass paddocks).
Oh I appreciate hearing an animal experts opinion. I was worried they were genuinely underfed. I too get the vibe he doesn't Actually take care of those alpacas. Animals are so much more work than you think. I've always wanted a horse, but I follow people who take care of horses and I would be SO out of my depth to do it. So guess what??
