Does the Speed of HEAT / HESH Shells Matter for Damage? - From the Depths Empirical Testing

- Some say that the damage dealt from heat and hesh shells or such shaped charges depend on the speed they are coming at, does this mechanic matter in From the Depths or not? Also some turret showcases of recent turrets!

In real Life the benefit of HEAT is its ability to penetrate armor without the muzzle velocity having an effect on it, unlike something such as Solid Shot.
BESH and HESH on the other hand performs better at lower muzzle velocities, because when it hits the target, it balloons out less due to the lower velocity hit, creating a more pin point directed area of the shockwave.
Idk, its probably cause nobody like the idea of someone screaming for likes on a youtube video in order for stuff to be released, i just spread the previous video to other servers because of the spaceship, if it were a video about a mediocre ship, i would've not done so

Good info to know! (Thank you) Though I wasn't considering there to be a difference in damage on HEAT/HESH on a basis of speed, I was thinking that the pen metric might change- this clarifies that it does not. Probably makes a difference for HEAT secondary, but that's from initial kinetic pen.
Something I think I should also mention- last time I mentioned 24.2 pen metric should pen 4 stacked metal beams where I originally did the calculation for those. Sinse, I had a look at the tank which utilized those shells and the pen metric on them is listed at 32.2. Either I was off on the original statement, or the game changed and the pen metric went up sinse I built it a bit over a year ago. Unfortunately, I cannot say if my original statement on the speed did used to be true, or if it was not and that I was mistaken. That said, we've concluded today that it does not currently affect damage or pen metric. ^_^ Shell size would be what makes a difference for pen metric. :)
P.S. I rather like the new turrets. ^_^ Prohibitively expensive on the first two, but really fun.
