Well we just go by "the normal" but what it is, is a fade all around the sides and back. 1-3 fade I believe. He layers the top so my bangs are the longest and it gets shorter towards the back of my head. It all flows evenly when brushed
with regard to pomade the company 'Black and White' do a great one which is very inexpensive. it gives salon quality results and washes out easily, it's brilliant!
All I used while growing my hair out was this thing called "Doo-Gro" from Sallys Beauty hahahaha. Its like natural minerals and oils that help your hair stay healthy and grow faster. My friend recommended it for me haha
I myself get a 3 to 4 taper on the sides. A taper is essentially a fade. 3 to 4 describes the clipper length. 3 at the bottom coming up to a 4 on the top.
What type of pomade? You can get brands at Target and Walgreen, local barber shops..uh..salons might have them? Suavecito is only from online or at their shop somewhere in Southern California.
Well for me, I have really thin individual strands of hair, but I have a lot of them so it makes it look really thick. I just have a lot of thin hair. Try thinning it out when you go to the barber next
I just get the gentlemans cut, or you can ask for a pompadour hair cut. If you want specifics just tell your barber to fade the sides from like a 2 on the bottom to whatever you want as the longest part on the sides. Keep the top of your head long, I have my sides about an inch and a half or so. Around 1-2 inches on the side of my head, long as hell on the top and a fade on the sides as well. On the top, the front most of my head is the longest and it is layers so it goes from long to short
Man I relate so much to your face when the sides of your hair aren't cut right and you're silently pissed off, I don't go with this look but I feel your pain man.
ive always wanted this cut, lol, (crispen glover rules, ha)-before it was popular, now my hair line is receding a lil bit, and am affraid it wont look that good... you rock it well man!!! i loved how in the early days, it was long, and then sooo short on the sides- cause it was all cut with shears
Yeah you can just when you brush up the front push it to the side, if I had shorter hair I would demonstrate but you can do it like Ryan Gosling in Crazy Stupid Love I bet!
Very good lighting and focus. What do you use, phonecamera or digital camera. It's a real good one. On another note, maybe the side are a little too short. What do you think about growing the sides out a little bit where the hair will lay down. And, its always nice to what pomade you use and see you apply it. Thanks for another great video.
Whenever i use pomade for my hair i usually use Murrays and i always use a hairdryer because it melts the pomade to make it more stiff so you wont get any loose hairs
Yes that is my natural color! I'm pretty sure the product I use is giving it the shine you are seeing when I'm styling my hair. I use Suavecito, but other than that I just use shampoo and conditioner and I dont know if that gives it shine or not haha.
I've been getting a lot of questions about UK pomades and I'm not really sure! Check out Suavecito and see if they ship there, or go to a local drug store or market where they sell hair products and look for any creams or pastes or pomades that you might like. Other than that I recommend Suavecito or you might have to use Murrays Pomade. It comes in an orange can
I know this is an older video. But I noticed you were working the shorter side straight down. I'm a stylist myself. and it works best when it's cut longer on the short side to comb it straight back and pivot the comb down. It'll give you a smaller ridge on the opposite side but can make more a more classic style and better define your part.
well you could just embrace the curlyless or get murrys beezwax if that doesnt work you could get scurl stylin grease and rub it in. i saw scurls in the outsiders and the sonny guy from grease has it if you wanna know how it looks
Great head of hair mate - and strong too given what you're putting it through with the comb. I personally have survived so far with fine to normal hair, but isn't long enough though, I try and volumize mine using hair creme which is quite thick, and brylcreem. I found paste for longer styles a little too strong. Anyway, pleasure to watch this, and you keep growing ;-)
At first I was like.. "Who would watch 8 minutes of this guy doing his hair?" I mean, to be fair this video has no background music, no voice instructions, and you pretty much kept all your failed attempts at grooming your hair. But even so, after a while, I was strangely hypnotized.
Use a product that doesnt have any petroleum in it. It'll ruin his young hair. Use a water based product like Suavecito Pomade (thats what I use) If you're from southern California they are located there or you can buy off of their website. Google suavecito pomade
I'm making a new channel for grooming and styling and dressing dapper so be on the lookout for that! As for now..I think curly haired guys should use a thicker pomade. Suavecito firme hold is good, ummm..get your hair damp before you do it and brush it.
Looks great---though I agree that the left sides should have been shorter or longer to slick back. I like the part but I think I like the straigt back look better....I think.
Great hair dude! What kind of pomade would you recommend to people in the UK since many that are available in the US aren't available over here, or are very expensive. Thanks!
nothing can piss u off more than your own hair.... I know the feeling
Forreals lol...i think he didnt say a word through the whole vid cuz that side got him mad...#TheStruggle
Relatable
the short side looks cooler if swept back not down
It's 2:30 am and I don't know what I'm doing watching this but I looove it
1-3 fade all around and keep the top long basically. Layered though.
Just sayin YOUR HAIR IS AWSOME
Thanks :o
CooLikeABird what you put in your hair please ?
+S4aesthetic™ 2015 I think he used Suavecito
I agree that he has awesome hair can I get a like or a subscribe.:)
Scissors on the top and some on the sides. The fade is used with clippers
Well we just go by "the normal" but what it is, is a fade all around the sides and back. 1-3 fade I believe. He layers the top so my bangs are the longest and it gets shorter towards the back of my head. It all flows evenly when brushed
I like the low pomp as well
Ask for a fade on the sides and back. Make it fade into the long hair on the top so it slicks back nicely and flows nice
with regard to pomade the company 'Black and White' do a great one which is very inexpensive. it gives salon quality results and washes out easily, it's brilliant!
All I used while growing my hair out was this thing called "Doo-Gro" from Sallys Beauty hahahaha. Its like natural minerals and oils that help your hair stay healthy and grow faster. My friend recommended it for me haha
He is handsome like a model!!
Like the way you do your hair compared to others I've seen
His hair was total cool.
I myself get a 3 to 4 taper on the sides. A taper is essentially a fade. 3 to 4 describes the clipper length. 3 at the bottom coming up to a 4 on the top.
I've never tried wax before. Warm it up by rubbing it in your hands and then try it. It should work! Make sure your hair is damp!
Suavecito Original hold, google them and go to their online store!
What type of pomade? You can get brands at Target and Walgreen, local barber shops..uh..salons might have them? Suavecito is only from online or at their shop somewhere in Southern California.
Most likely, but you wont have a high pomp in the front..its just be brushed to the side
He uses suavecito. The same thing I ordered a couple hours ago. Thanks for the recommendation!
You can make it work!
Well for me, I have really thin individual strands of hair, but I have a lot of them so it makes it look really thick. I just have a lot of thin hair. Try thinning it out when you go to the barber next

This looks nice!

We just call it the gentleman's cut at the barber shop haha
I feel your frustration. It takes me half an hour to get my side part just right.
Alright I will! Only problem is now I doa pomp with shaved sides, so the line is easy to find xD
i know this is an old video. but his combing skills really killing me deep inside
this haircut was a 1-3 fade on the sides and back. Just kept the top long
ive always wanted this cut, lol, (crispen glover rules, ha)-before it was popular, now my hair line is receding a lil bit, and am affraid it wont look that good... you rock it well man!!! i loved how in the early days, it was long, and then sooo short on the sides- cause it was all cut with shears
And maybe I'll just buy a lot of products and do reviews on them for you all?
Yeah I'll try it man for sure! :P Thanks for the suggestion!
makes me think of the cute greaser i work with, Tommy. he's got beautiful hair
Yeah you can just when you brush up the front push it to the side, if I had shorter hair I would demonstrate but you can do it like Ryan Gosling in Crazy Stupid Love I bet!
Nice wallpaper man, like your bath room were in heaven. Btw, awesome Cry Baby Walker -haircut.
The joke is on you because it doesnt mess up! And it doesnt take this long usually.
when your sides are too long just slick them back. it looks good
Of course!
Suavecito Pomade original hold is what I use.
get your hair damp with water and then put the pomade in it. Rub it in your hands and spread it throughout your hair!
the gentlemans cut is what they call it at my barber shop
Very good lighting and focus. What do you use, phonecamera or digital camera. It's a real good one. On another note, maybe the side are a little too short. straight hair is awesome hair you can do so many things to it. it's so easy to fix compared to kinky hat's a fact.
I'm using Suavecito pomade :P And thanks for the comment :)
PERFECTION!
awesom hair man:) wish I could have the same:P. Oh and when you said that the part hair pisses you off, just comb it more back and it should do:)
Go for it!
Man.. As I've seen this was the most becoming hair for yo :)
A good example of the style men wore 1920s-1940s. Reminds me of Tom Neal (actor).
I know this is an older video. But I noticed you were working the shorter side straight down. Good work, very nice!
Awesome dude

At a barber shop. Barbers typically know how to style pompadours...at least I assume they do so try them! I use Suavecito Pomade :)
Its shorter and different now!
I used Suavecito Pomade!
It’s like watching Rain Man do his hair, but more painful.
great hair man!!
Yep sounds good. Do you apply to wet or dry hair?
I use simple lotion to keep it in place till I style it and it conditions as well
At first I was like.. "Who would watch 8 minutes of this guy doing his hair?" I mean, to be fair this video has no background music, no voice instructions, and you pretty much kept all your failed attempts at grooming your hair. But even so, after a while, I was strangely hypnotized.
Keep up the great work! Wonderful hair.

hi there..awesome haircut dude..could you upload a video with the haircut of David Bechham? Is that similar with yours or exactly the same?
Use a product that doesnt have any petroleum in it. It'll ruin his young hair. Use a water based product like Suavecito Pomade (thats what I use) If you're from southern California they are located there or you can buy off of their website. Google suavecito pomade
My grandpa was a greaser back in the 50s and I showed him this video only thing he said was this someone bring it back
I'm making a new channel for grooming and styling and dressing dapper so be on the lookout for that! As for now..I think curly haired guys should use a thicker pomade. Suavecito firme hold is good, ummm..get your hair damp before you do it and brush it.
