The potion would've worked if he'd eaten the entire bottle.
I remember that episode lmao
Exactly, why he wouldn't just eat it like a normal person?
I had forgotten that skit
As one does
Cause where else would you put it? Not like we're all walking around with an empty bottle pocket
@@imkazakhhh i've read your comment in Ben's voice ))))
Alan’s quest log
Change the lightbulb:Abandon
Off to fight monsters: Activate
Yeah was going to say his quest involved the ceiling and something 😂
Yeah, Epic NPC man!!
Return to TechTown!
Clearly, she healed not only his leg, but his mind. He remembered he was the brave Sir Alan, Paladin of the Order of the Holy Lightbulb, and he was on a quest to save his king.
How many Dirt Leaguers does it take to change a lightbulb? I don’t know, at least 3 so far.
"Dear child, what has befallen you?"
"Gravity"
"Are there monsters about?"
"Yes, gravity"
"I befell from the stepladder"
witchcraft
the "post credits scene" makes way to a whole new storyline that I would definitely watch
someone summon Vin Diesel. Clearly we need the Last Witchhunter
It's all building up to the Ultimate Cross Over from all their universes
A fighter thanking the cleric for heals? That broke my immersion more than anything else
Rather than yelling insults at the healer for being wounded..... -Which is how it usually goes in MMOs
rather than fixed him, looks more like he got a class change from Office Worker to Paladin
yeah she "fixed" him
I'd take a class change if there are any openings in the paladin department.
man that is a fascinating concept for a cleric, any time they heal someone, they invoke a class change xD
I mean he did say he wanted to in the last dnd ep
From level 0 NPC to level 1 Paladin.
Well at least she didn't use HOLY NOVA.
If she did, Alan wouldn't be able to see how she healed him. And he would have remained a skeptic.
@@argantyr5154
Should have used Blinding Heal.
😂😂😂
*Falls down the stairs*
The entire company: *HEALING HANDS*
all you can hear in the background after holy nova was used is rowan... "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THAT GUYS?!"
Alan being referred to as “my sweet summer child” should have been the first clue Brit was into alternative medicine 😂
or an insane rp, they all are.
Or a clue that she was about to spend the next two minutes trolling him mercilessly.
(around here, "my sweet summer child" is how polite ladies address an utter imbecile)
"Sweet summer child" is just a phrase to indicate someone is grossly unaware about something.
@@aeoniseOld Nan yet lives!
I always thought it was from ASOIAF.
Britt's screaming "I'AM DOING THE BEST I CAN!" sums up the experience of playing a healer.
Ladders are this game's standing in fire!
@@felironmaden1429 oh yeah. It's amazing how any DD or tank is just parking in any kind of puddle. Lava, poison, acid, dogsh!t, you name it.
If it's around and even just takes up a tiny portion of the bossroom, somebody WILL be standing in there, taking damage and yelling at the healer.
@@Preppmatic2also that somebody will never ever get a single heal in their entire life
This is truth, I just came back from a larp where I was playing one
I'd say the waterboarding sums it up even better.
She used to work as a barista, but somebody came in, and sold her a bunch of things. After getting fired, she became The Last Witch with her new found video game powers.
I love how the final shot was likely just them goofing around and they still added effects and music to it
This is the kind of production quality we love to see! Worth every Patreon penny.
FATALITY! You're next!
And Adam reacted instantly to her evil magic. Perfect.
No, it’s Britt’s witch powers, which Alan had pointed out before when she somehow found all those things.
"What has befallen you?"
"Well, I be fallen. That's why I hurt my leg."
dont underestimate the gravity... of gravity
Straight to pun jail!
@@Charity322 Too straight for that !
That logic didn't work for Geglash. Nobody calls him Geglash the Fallen.
@@kineticdeath You don't seem to understand the gravity of the situation
"Health and safety, clear the room" is such a throwback to Byron 😂
I thought his name was Bryan?
@@thebrotherskrynn Wasn't it Brandon??
I miss byron
Baelin? 😉
@@thebrotherskrynn He's called Baarn
Alan remembered the most important thing: always thank your healer.
Hats off to the costume dept on this, Brit's cleric outfit was awesome.
Long rest is an actual method of healing a broken leg in every hospital. So it's scientifically backed.
Heart attacks, too!
Given my last hospital visit, they definitely expected me to get better in the waiting room.
There should be beds in the waiting room
@@hi_pd Bunks, they need to stack to save space. Right up next to the heater near the vending machine (lessons from Theme Hospital).
Can confirm, broke my back told to rest up for 10 weeks
Blooming eck, that improv at the end could have been the start of a whole new story haha
THE LAST WITCH!
Sounds like a good game idea, kind of like Among Us but fantasy style.
@@VivaLaDirtLeague that one made me howl
We're next, RUN FROM THE LAST WITCH
@@haleybrown Her power is too great! D:
I would have been panicking that the red healing potion would stain that pristine cleric outfit.
Filming this was stressful as hell 😅
Now he can use lay on hands!
As we know from the D&D Logic series - A long rest would fix that as well (including any tears etc)
That's whe you ask the in-house artificer to cast prestidigitation.
Potions of greater healing are machine washable. One of the reasons for the increased price... Really should have been an Organic Potion of Greater Healing. Never know when an adventurer is gluten free...
"You're waterboarding him"
Holding the bottle to his lips would've been too simple.
There are only 2 reasons this comment has been upvoted.

Ladder overreach is one of the leading causes of falls. Simply moving the ladder can save a lot of pain.
I fully agree. If we don't take immediate steps to save the pain, it will be at risk of extinction.
But it might lead to less entertaining skits.
I'd posit, rather, that gravity is the leading cause of falls.
Using a ladder at all reduces the risk of falling, so.. DONT USE CHAIRS YOU GOBLINS!
Ben: That’s not how you consume potions
So thats why Rob has them do a medicine check when administering potions to others

Yes Rowan the black shirt manager

Brit rolled a 1 when giving the potion to Alan.
Yes, it was exactly one potion.
no alan didnt eat the bottle
The intentional bad acting is so good, it's like a whole new level of skill. Truly love this skit as a healer main
The ending was the best part. What a callback!
Was it to their DnD campaign? I eid not watch them, so I can only guess...
@@theoutergod8666 Same, I thought I had watched every single VLDL video, but apparently not 😂
It’s from our Man Look video
@@VivaLaDirtLeague Thanks!
The "last witch" comment? I didn't get it. I thought it was a Witcher reference or something.
Alan being waterboarded with a potion of greater healing was NOT what i expected when i clicked the vid
When I read this(before seeing the full video) I was straight up waiting for Britt to pull out a towel lmao.
He probably rejects it because he is allergic to strawberry juice.🤔
DON'T give the CIA any ideas!! Imagine being able to waterboard people for days without stopping for them to gasp for air or falling unconscious. Whenever they swallow part of the water, they are as good as new and they "only" have to deal with the psychological damage of being drowned for days. And no escaping by having a heart attack, a stroke or any other medical emergencies. It's worse than the barbed dagger with instant healing....activated by pulling it out first. But pain is just in your mind, right? You could chose to ignore it...
Oh god, I think that would work, you'd be fixing the damage even as you do it... Well now I know what I'm using the next time I need a 'your employers are torturing someone' bit.
I really like the call back in the annotation. "I am the next"... to be healed or to have his soul sucked out?
Alan seemed very NPC-like after that spell...
Are we sure he still has his soul?
Thou shalt not stand against a cleric and their calling or thou shall risk the potential of being...harmed 😂
It's Britt, I don't mind either way...
I pick the second option! The second option!!
yes
At least she didn’t go the Baldur’s Gate 3 route and throw the entire potion bottle at his head.
I died having that done at me lol
May I ask what is that profile picture?
@@AutisticAussie its a bot
@@brussailpook8213 oh that’s right I forgot they couldn’t respond
The greater healing potion would have worked if she smashed it on his head so the bottle would disappear just like video games.
the irony of britt wearing the cleric robes alan wears as cleric greg in the dnd campaign is 10/10
Well noticed!
Haha I thought the same thing, good old VLDL and their immaculate attention to detail ... it never wains. I love it.
Greta The Garlic Farmer's Wife is back! She has multiclassed into a cleric and she is more powerful than ever 😍
Do you know what irony means?
In what way is that ironic.
Spell description:
- Effect: Instantly heals the target to full health
- Side effects: Permanently transforms the target into a D&D character
The fact he got up and went to fight makes me think he didn't make it and she's a necromancer.
Necromancers are just healers with bad timing.
The ending ratifies this mayhaps
This is a great example of why "administering a potion to someone else uses an action"
He just needed to eat an entire cheese wheel
If Adam had just cast the protection spell "Holy Nova", then Alan wouldn't have gotten into this situation in the first place
"Have you considered meditating around a campfire for multiple hours?"
"no? OK... Here, eat these twenty cabbages and 5 wheels of cheese."
Healing hands, healing hands, healing, hands, healing, hands!
She's not a paladin.
Classic Slap heal.
TBH, I was expecting that! 😂😂😂
You have the hands of a healer
and a missed opportunity with a water bucket
My favorite part is that I’m confident the bit at the end was fully improvised.
If Alan was in blow-up doll mode here, this entire thing could've been avoided.
Clearly all he needed was either an entire leg of pork or a whole loaf of bread!
Better yet, a cheese wheel...
You both wrong the best way to heal is Vegetable soup.
Or just lean against a wall and breathe heavily for five seconds
Nah nah nah... pita pockets, preferably made by Collei.
Nope!! A Garlic enema and a good ol’ fashioned, all purpose, dung and wattle poultice!
"Don't whine to me about your leg, Alan, I just had mine severed and reattached."
😂
Those conversations they're havin man. Was it Alan who was handed the key to the city?
Perfect ending, I don't always stay for the end promotion bits, so that caught me off guard 😂
E
You've been missing some good bits :p
@@Tom_McMurtry yeah certainly going to wait before skipping now! 😂
That escalated pretty quickly at the end there.
2:33 wraaarrrr that's all I ask for
I like how they brought back the "witch" sound effect at the end.
MMO Healer IRL would be a lot more pissed at Greg screwing around in the damage zone, I mean, ladder.
True, as would the health and safety inspector. :)
Yeah… I would have refused to heal him for “doing stupid”.
He can lay there for a bit and figure out what he did wrong.
" I can heal damage, I can't heal stupid."- Me, 2004, Blackwing Lair progression push
"Don't stand in the electric puddle!"
tsk, another health and safety violation 🙄
Rowan the raid leader should take Alan to the boardroom and talk about how much the raid DPS went down due to his standing in stupid... and damage of company property (ladder + wooden floor + Red dye stains).
It's so strange seeing Adam as the "normal" guy in this and not Adam from Bored or Baradun.
She's spreading a new disease: Gamification. You too will be an adventurer
Wow, that spell not only healed him but also converted him into an npc, he’ll probably be fine once he takes an arrow to the knee
You may not rest now, there are monsters nearby
May be in Tech Town or whatever other shop they have moved to recently...
yes im pretty sure rowan qualifies as a monster so no sleeping thru this im afraid.
Love these game logic applying in real life skits
I was in a car wreck a while back. I was stuck upside down by my belt and had to fall down on my head. The roof of the car was full of shattered windshield which I landed on. When I crawled out and sat down on the side of the road, there was a small crowd there (no idea what they were doing on the side of a highway but...) one woman claimed she was a healer, stepped behind me and offered to use her "chi' to heal me... NO I politely refused, really she wanted to heal glass in the top of my head using magic?!
I really enjoy the zealous, spunky, Brit sketches. This one and the mushroom one are some of my favorites
For a minor injury like this, it is better to eat bread or apple
"You're waterboarding him" 😂
Holding the bottle to his lips would've been too simple.
Naah, she just follows the regulations on how to avoid getting infected from a patient.
At least now we know where Alan went after the TechTown fight...
I am very glad that despite the fact that Alan left TECHTOWN, he still remains in the team
One moment you're laughing at a brilliant sketch, the next you're a victim of the last witch's prophecy.
I love that Adam was just confused and his reality was changing
The drugs in that bottle must have been really strong.
It’s the biting the cork out with her teeth and spitting it across the room for me. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
She not only healed his leg, she cured his amnesia.
Man I love the disarray and chaos that randomly comes with these clips, Ty
I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took a ladder to the knee.
I'm going to keep saying this every time a video like this drops: I absolutely LOVE whenever video game logic melts into real life in these vids!
"You're next." *to camera operator* And that was the last skit VLDL ever made.
As a health and safety manager at a warehouse, we do indeed all burst in to any given incident by announcing "Health and Safety! Clear the room!" although we normally follow with "let's get you to hospital first, we'll discuss getting you written up for multiple policy violations once you're back on whatever's left of your feet." 😂
I can't believe she didn't even consider wrapping bandages around his arms
that would have fixed his leg for sure... that fixes all problems of course.
Jeremiah, I've finally found her! I love, that VLDL grew so much it can expand small jokes into a plot! Whole production team is so amazing.
It's great Brit is having so much fun finally
Cured him of his mundane lifism too, terribly contagious
"Oh, i forgot my healing scroll. But don't worry Alan, I still have this revival spell."
i was almost certain that the last resort was britt casting bite and turning him into a vampire spawn due to her lack of spell slots (using a scroll instead of casting it herself) XD
Lmfao the "QUACK" at the end of rhe annotations killed me 😂
I love your closed captioning person so much!
THE WITCH CURSED HIM, turns out he then became a onion farmer after reaching max level and going crazy of boredom...literally.
Alan: *fall and landed on his back*
Also alan: *Leg broke*
I think the fall caused a vibrational resonance in his body that culminated in his leg breaking. 🤔
Omg that mural! Looks amazing.
Incredible mural!
I think the issue was trying to fix his hp when a broken leg is probably a negative status condition.
Behind the scenes: It turns out “stop” was *not* the safe word.
That mural art is insane!! 🤩
It's Dingo!
0:29 If the she calls me her sweet child, I'm willing to break all my bones 😂
Thats a great scroll, even gives you a weapon and shield.
Those were in his back.. pocket? all along
well the reason why the potion didn't worked is cause he either has to eat it or you throw near him
"I fixed him", she said with the combined satisfaction of every woman who ever wanted to say that sentence.
so scary :v
You still have to fill out the paperwork, Alan. Alan? The paper... you have to fill out the paperwork!
Brit definitely would have made sure he'd do that.
Love the skit. But also absolutely adore the mural on the wall!
My take away is I have been a trained medical professional for my company for years and haven’t been recognised. Tomorrow I’m walking into my boss’s office and I’m demanding a promotion and pay rise.
please continue this into a series
She's actually a guild receptionist and we all know class changes resets hp and mp to full.
If you are not going to feed him the bottle, you should consider adding crushed glass to your potions.
Well, that was the first time I saw someone get potion boarded....
Little boy you only have 1 month to live… Then I popped a healing potion 😊
