No one should have to experience what she did. I have a lot of respect for her. She did a great job testifying.
She is young and this is a lot to take in for a young mind. She did amazing and I hope she gets the help she needs to cope with the trauma. Sending her hugs :(
A nice young person who has been traumatized. Of course she nervous. Who wouldn't be at that age and in her situation? For all the people that are annoyed by her fidgeting with her hair, or by the way she's dressed, or by the way she sitting, here's my comment to you. The only thing that's really annoying is your rude stupid comments.
I’m wondering if she had second thoughts about wearing the dress or adjusting, it helped her stay calm.
People are unbelievable.
I'm also guilty of being annoying and stupid for not commenting on what's more important than all the defendants testimonies, the victim. Locked and zoomed in camera, sensationalized for a reason. Such a limited representation viewof this court proceeding.
@@annettedantzler1200 get a grip
Pretty girl getting bullied in these comments. Your envy is showing. She is young, and more importantly, this is about her being a witness in a MURDER. Show her some damn mercy, jeez.
These comments are absolutely insane!! The lack of sympathy is astounding and it's mortifying that so many people focused on her appearance over her testimony.
Thanks so much for saying this😊
Thank you!
I love pretty people! I only want to see pretty people!
She's not pretty to me. Her 👄 are too thin..lol
So much respect to Megan for being courageous and testifying.
I hope she can get help to process this and heal the PTSD she must be dealing with.
For those ppl commenting about her dress, hair or fidgeting….shame on you. Shame on you trying to shame a 20year old.
Yeah that’s unreasonable people are commenting like that. This is probably her first time ever on the stand in her life and it’s for a MURDER trial. Of course she’s nervous, it’s also being recorded by the media. It’s a lot, not to mention the trauma of the event itself that led up to this…she seems like a pure soul and good person.
She fidgets cause she is normal person. Pretty dress . Young southern women! Doing a good job.
There is nothing wrong with her dress or anything else. People will always criticize a pretty girl. It's usually nothing but jealousy. Pretty girls are used to criticism as I'm sure she is.
I would show mercy EXCEPT that was the WRONG attire for being in court to testify. Her parents SHOULD'VE known better!
@@UpsheetscreekWOapaddlewhat’s the attire supposed to be you are bullying a 20 year old for showing her shoulder it’s 2024 shut up and grow up
She comes across completely sincere , genuine and honest. She did very well for 20yo.
You all are focused on the wrong things! Her dress is just fine. I’ve seen people wear hoodies and jeans to court. I’m sorry you’re going through this Meg. I admire your courage and may god bless you always!
Remember the driver in the Depp v heard trial. The Spanish dude who was vaping while driving
It was hilarious 😂
This young lady did a great job testifying. I can’t imagine her emotions living through this even again.
What a lovely brave young woman. I pray she can get past what she had to experience and be very successful in her life.
You did it, young lady. 💙 praying for your healing.
If you read this please know how courageous you were and are. Take care and know you have spoken the truth when it was needed.
Bless her heart! I can’t imagine going through what she is dealing with! 😢😢
Thanks court TV for keeping rude ppls comments about this girl, but deleting mine. Nice job. Anyone talking bad about her is completely trash.
It's youtube not court tv you need to go to newest comments to see your comment that you think have been deleted but haven't
Yeah, someone might have reported you. That's most probably why YT deleted it. Don't take it too personally. My account has been deleted by YT twice after I reported bullying. According to their policies, you shouldn't report others too often. I will now comment sometimes and just let it be. YT should actually stop all conversations because nobody can keep up with their rules. 😂
@James_Doyle83 some channels do have moderators. Don't know if CTV has.
If it goes against channel guidelines I’m pretty sure it’s automatically deleted. Sometimes UA-cam does have a delay when showing comments.

Sometimes the channel's moderator(ok it's a guess on my part) deletes it if it doesn't conform to his/her agenda.
Testifying in a Murder Trial at 20 is very difficult ! She did a great job - - good witness - brave young woman. Wishing her well in her journey of healing her mind - heart - spirit after what she experienced. I am sure she did not want to testify but of course did her moral and legal duty. Let this be the start of putting this in perspective and keep it behind her. Hope she has good support and accepts counseling to work through the haunting effect experiences like these have on a persons life trajectory.
Poor thing she’s suffered a lot from this she appears so sweet and has a great presence about her.
She’s so sweet
You don't know her
Sweet? She looks like a crackhead.
@@Vale0x3
True but she looks very natural.
What a sweet girl. My heart breaks for her having to see this at only 20 years old!! Even if I were in my 70s this would be horrible. She did a great job for the victim. May she never have to endure something like this again. Good job sweet girl!!!!
Or actually I think she was 19! Ugh.
There is NOTHING easy about testifying. God bless this sweet young lady and her future.
She’s incredible and fierce!
She will learn and grow from everything she’s doing here.
Trauma. How real it leaves souls who witness it, who endure it. How truly lucky are those who have never had it
My ❤ goes out to this Precious Young Nanny...
She held her own × was very forward × answered questions extremely well...
This was so much for her to Witness × Deal with...
Hope she gets some form of Therapy to deal with what she Witnessed...
Did Amazing Job! 👏 ❤
Lovely young Woman relating a tramatic event the best she can. Her respectful demeanor is often not seen these days. Yes sir and no sir are indicative of her upbringing.
What a beautiful young woman. She is intelligent. I trust she has family and friends to support her. I imagine she does 🩵
When I was watching her testimony I was feeling bad for her and I didn’t see anything wrong then I read the comments. Some people are so critical and petty. she was nervous and I didn’t see nothing wrong with her dress. Maybe it bothers some cause she young and attractive, causing the little green monster to manifest itself?
That's all it is. Mostly unattractive women probably complaining.
She is attractive but this is a court and not a tv show.Having said that, she is also sweet and sounded sincere and natural.
Poor kid. Not what you want to ever see or be a part of. Well done to her parents - a lovely young lady.
A lovely young lady, bless her for having to experience all of this.
Such a respectful young lady. How unimaginable what she went through. I hope you find peace obe day ❤️🙏🙏🙏
😢. So very nervous and traumatized. This is obviously very difficult for her.
This is so sad to slowly go through this and ask her the same question 5 times. Keep showing the picture and the mouth. Poor baby girl.
What a lovely young lady
PTSD is a real thing you guys, even before you are asked to speak all those memories bring you right where it happened and you're crying. I feel so bad for this lady may she find peace and let this memory rest.
Prayers for you Megan!! You did amazing, and im so sorry for this entire experience ❤❤
I like how she doesn’t let defense attorney intimidate her. .
Great job, young lady, bless your heart!!
I’m sure a few bullies in these comments have stories much worse than this, eh?? Anywho… whether you do or you don’t, your jealousy is showing. Bunch of Kyles & Karens. Get a life.
Kudos to all you awesome supportive beautiful people in the comments!! 👏🏻👏🏻
She has on feminine necklace - tasteful jewelry. It’s hot in South . Women wear sundresses. She has nothing to be ashamed of.
You did great Megan! I’m so sorry you had to witness such a horrific crime against someone you were close to and due to people you considered family. I hope you’re still able to see the children as I’m sure you became very close to them as their nanny 🥺❤️
Wishing you love, healing and closure as you try to process all you e have to go through and I’m sure you’ll carry with you forever 🙏🩷
This girl looks like Maureen McCormick/Cybill Shepherd. May she find peace through this tragedy. 🙏
Poor kid
This is a murder trial. Every comment, good or bad, focused on this poor young lady’s clothes, hair, tears! Honestly, she’s a bright, courageous young lady. Why in the world is anything at all even being discussed about her? You all sound like a bunch of jealous people furious that you’re no longer young or attractive. You should all be ashamed!!!
Every comment? I don’t see one comment about how she’s dressed…
I just tuned in here and am shocked by the mean self righteous comments concerning this very young woman.
@@Livcakesswell you should go back and look then. I read a bunch of them before coming to this comment.

Had to watch with the subtitles on bc the prosecutors accent is so strong can barely understand what he’s saying 😅
She nervous is why she is fidgeting with her hair and dress it is nerve racking being in a courtroom with a jury testifying...

I’ve read a lot of comments here about this young woman’s clothes and mannerisms. I’m appalled. She is going to know most of the ugly things you have said about her. “y’all” think you are just helpin”. Shame on you. Do you even understand she has to carry all of this the rest of her life? Think about anyone you know who is 20 years old going through this. I’ll bet the farm that if it were someone you love you would be nicer.
Wow, reminds me of scripture..
“For jealousy makes a man furious, and he will not spare when he takes revenge.” Proverbs 6:34
You’re beautiful young lady and did a great job given the circumstances. Ignore the comments about the dress, may Jesus help you heal from the trauma you’ve encountered.
First video I’ve seen of this trial. I recognized the prosecutor’s voice instantly!
And your prettier than her 😉

Typical 20 year d attire. Hair flipping bugs me more than the dress😊
She’s very nervous, as is obvious! I do the same when I’m nervous, and I am 59 !!!! Fresh 🙄
I don’t mean to sound judgmental but in my own opinion I feel like that dress is a little too risqué for a courtroom murder trial.
On another note I sympathize with what she has experienced 😢
I was thinking the same especially when someone died 😮

I agree, its a cute sundress, going to eat, but her mamma should have advised her to wear a nice trousers and dress shirt, w pumps
You all sound so ignorant, judgmental and jealous all at the same time! People like you make others feel less than! You’re not the clothes police go look in the mirror before speaking! Others looking frumpy and unattractive must make you feel better about your own looks I guess idk I work in the beauty and design industry and this young lady looks great and age appropriate for court attire! Style is what you take away from this case? You should have enough morals not to sexualize what she has on by referring to only fans!
@@lovepet4565 I definitely agree. Very cute sundress but not appropriate for court, at a murder trial.
I was thinking the same love, I personally would have advised my daughter to wear something a lot less revealing and something that didn’t have to be adjusted so much. I know she was full of nerves and very emotional, I feel for her in that sense, of course 😢
My goodness why didn’t she wear something more appropriate for court? She seems so uncomfortable and pulling on her clothes.
Is that your main focus, really, her clothes? Someone was murdered.
She's a very credible witness and very bright, but she really should have worn a different dress and put her hair up or tied it back, she spent so much time worrying about the shoulders of her dress falling down and pushing her hair back.
@@MG-ot2yr her hair and clothes have nothing to do with the way she's acting it's nerves that all it is
@@68lyn68 Absolutely its nerves, but the dress and hair became a distraction for her. I'm sure she realizes this now, and we've all been there with hindsight.
She is showing signs of being anxious and nervous, she is using self-soothing gestures to try to calm herself, and she is clearly self-conscious. Most women fiddle with their hair when nervous, even if it is something as simple as repeatedly tucking it behind their ear. It is a type of adaptor, a way that we consciously or subconsciously try to deal with stress. We all engage in those behaviours, it is human nature. Maybe focus on how well she delivered her statement and stop judging her.
@teekaybee3986 Excellent comment😊
@@teekaybee3986 Do you know that you judged my comment by telling me what I should have written and to stop judging her? Isn't it funny how people project themselves? A judgmental person will accuse everyone else of being judgmental. Yes, human nature is quite interesting.
Feel bad for her but she is in court. Her non-stop flicking, adjusting, pulling and adjusting her clothes and hair is sooooo distracting from her testimony. Don't know what mom was thinking not helping her choose something more appropriate.
Wow that's all your bothered about her fashion sense
Lucky you’re not on the jury. You seem very easily distracted!
Try to think of the most nervous and self-conscious moment of your life. Then imagine if you knew that thousands and thousands of people were going to watch you through every step of that moment, just staring at you as you fumble along. And then thousands of strangers would be dissecting your every move for days (weeks?) to come. That is a slice of what she is going through. Since I have never found myself in her shoes, I don't feel qualified to pass judgment on her behavour, choices, or actions. Maybe you could tell us how you handled the nervous sick feeling in the pit of your stomach when you got up to testify at a murder trial that people all around the world are watching. I'd love to know.
That dress is definitely not right for the court room
Omg she's nervous is that all you get from this her fashion sense
Oh brother, come on now🙄
Your comment is definitely not right for a very young lady who has to testify in open court about something highly traumatizing.
My god, the fact that are only middle aged women jelously comment on her looks is so telling. And disgusting.
It is a bit of an inaprobriate dressing choice for court.....
Shes figeting to much with her hair and, dress. Maybe because she is nervous but its really annoying plus doesn't sit well in court. 🤔🤔😊
