USB A to USB B printer cable works. Make sure to restart the utility on PC to download the firmware. It kept saying most current firmware until I restarted the program.
This didn’t work on my rower. The firmware file was empty when added to USB and the monitor only recognised the log book. Is there an issue with the utility platform?
The file is presumed to be on the flash drive but, once plugged into the PM5, no "Update" screen appears. I've done everything Concept2 has advised. Very frustrating.
Hello, you may not have any updates needed, you can also update via the App, ErgData, if you connect to your PM5, it will tell you if a firmware update is needed.

you can do it via bluetooth on the app but it's quite flimsy.
Old fashioned is usually more reliable.
