Double-Drive Saxony Style Spinning Wheel 101: Parts, Basic How-To, and Milissa Chatter
We do a lot of work of various sorts with double-drive Saxony style wheels, antique and modern, and so I have long needed a video about these particular wheels to refer people to when they ask me questions. In this overview video, I address the parts of the wheel, basic setup, and getting started spinning. I will say that I focus towards the end on the use of the flyer hooks to an extent that might surprise some people, but I had reason to suspect that this is not understood by some beginning spinners.
Also, since the drivecord decided to fly off midway through, I cover untangling a double drive drivecord while maintaining a cheerful tone of voice and polite language.
