  • The most hyped keyboard in 2023 came back with upgraded Ashwood V4 switches. This has been my first experience with both a mechanical keyboard and linear switches, and its been a real game changer for my productivity.

Big thanks for the review, man! You're one of the very few videos on YT that goes into actual user experience and it convinced me to get this keyboard for myself-it's also my first mechanical keyboard and I couldn't be happier with it. Cheers!

@@johnkim-tech also really nice quality video, liked that it was more laid back and chill unlike most nowadays, you should honestly do more videos like this with keyboards, you got potential imo

@@johnkim-tech @DayinTech hope you have an amazing year too, ill definitely be around on your channel, you're already very likeable and also you knew most of the stuff you were talking about, just a heads up for next time since it can be important (i know you said you were a newbie so its completely understandable) is to mention if its north facing or south facing sockets (which way the rgb led is facing if its at the top its north facing, if its at the bottom its south facing) because if its north facing it can cause some sound interference in the middle row with cherry style keycaps

Have had the same one now for a few weeks, very happy with it. The issue I have is the software is not detecting the keyboard so I can't look into programming macros etc.

@@johnkim-tech Got me thinking, I went back to their download page and there were 3 or 4 different configs.. I had the 3 mode one installed (since I have BT/2.4/Wired) so I tried the plain Pro version which worked right away. Thanks.

Hey I think I found the link, it was on Aula's official website. Personally I'm still a bit wary of installing keyboard software (Plus the fact that you download it from a Google drive), but its here if you need it :)

I’m not a pro-gamer by any means but for daily average gaming i think its more than enough! Since its a linear switch i assume there are benefits with that as well
