I've been telling people for years to try modulating the voice stack. You're the first one I've actually seen do it. Kudos! Always inspiring.

it can be used for note generation too "Bitwig Grid: More Voice Stacks Magic" - Polarity

You're a genius! I've always disliked that Polymer only had one oscillator other than the sub but this sort of solves that problem.

Lol, thanks. There's a few other wayys around it... you can convert it to a polygrid or just stick them in a instrument layer, although you need to map the controls then to macros.

@@MarulaMusic Yeah I've created my own "Serum" type instrument in the Grid, but I'm looking for ways to save CPU and spend less time doing sound design. I've done what you showed in the vid and it works great. Doesn't look like you can set the volume for each individual voice, but still would be ideal for quickly creating pads.

@@paradoxic1888 you can, just use manual voice stack modifier and assign it to the output volume... Then you have a volume slider per voice.

thank you for such a great video. i am gonna watch this several times to really concrete in my head what you did with the modulators. and thanks for showing stock instruments, bitwig users won’t all have the same 3rd party plugins but most of us will be on the latest upgrade plan, thus allowing us to follow along with the same instruments

I would love to see an Orchestral Hybrid with Protoculture series with Bitwig(just to move out your comfort zone :) ), the Cubase one was so epic

@@auraldecoy just drop 'Orchestral Hybrid with Protoculture' into the search field at the top, if Nate doesn't promo that 'third-party' site here I also wouldn't' want :)

If you want to blast your speakers or even worse loose your herring continue to use this shitwig. You know what problem with shitwig? It made by marketing guys, not musicians. Developers don’t use it for production therefor all new features good on paper. In reality it’s either not required or half baked. Like new distortions that when using voice stacking with 15 voices multiply volume by 15 times louder 🤦‍♂️. CPU use also very bad… Also from time of last year fiasco add on plugins I start to participate in community slightly more just to find out how toxic shitwig community is. I expect a lot off disses cause shitwig fans are blind fanboys who does not accept constructive criticism. Their grass always green and shitwig just perfect. And reality far from perfect. Shitwig is the buggiest software out there with only stopping it from crashing like there is no tomorrow sandboxing.
