"Modular design advantages" vis-a-vis Bitwig is so totally OP!! Your enthusiasm is renewing confidence in going all in on Bitwig / The Grid. Your other video on FM v PM is great, finally, someone describes the differences...with examples and animated illustrations of oscillating tape head (!!!). Your vids are the best. Thanks.
Grid is awesome and i hope they'll continue evolve it! For example i wait EQ+ inside the Grid because filters are cool but EQ+ could give some extra features!
Thanks for sharing this it's refreshing to see how someone else can have a new vision of how to use the Grid and copy and change to adapt to your own needs. Thanks 🙏🏼
Thank you, someone who gets it. Some VST's are way overrated nowadays. Surge XT and Vital can do incredible things and it's free! We always want to jump on the latest innovation band wagon, and I get it, it's exciting, but these companies strip us of all our cash with these crazy expensive prices. Games are much harder to development than plugins and we don't pay so much for them. Just do yourself a favor. Set a challenge for yourself. Before you buy a plugin, see if you can build it in the Grid first. Chances are you can.
Great patches and review. I love the Grid, but VCV Rack is still my go-to environment for "must control all the things" synthesis. Rack just has this Open Source eco-system that provides users with dozens of variations and styles on very common modular components. You get an added dimension of choice by looking for a module that has not just the function but the character and UI that fits your need. UVI's Falcon is another approach that I like when it comes to powerful synthesis and control not to mention the best software sampler on the market. My attraction to Bitwig comes from the fact that it runs on Linux and that if offers so many MIDI processing tools that are either absent are harder to use, elsewhere. I am trying to use it more often when I sequence with hardware.
The grid is so dope. I 'm glad I didn't deep drive into Reaktor or Max. Bitwig has made it more intuitive, and I imagine complexities to be added later.
I love Bitwig! It has become my DAW of choice but there’s one thing I really, really despise about it… The click’s default setting is deafeningly loud! We seriously need a setting to lower it according to taste. If anyone knows how to do this, I’ll buy you a beer!
Man that radio station is mind blowing! Love your content Kevin - thanks.
Agreed, that knocked me out… Brilliant!
You explained the grid in a friendly way. I would love a beginners series on how to build pretty standard sounds for electronic music.
Absolutely love the Grid. It was a huge reason for me switching to Bitwig to begin with. Haven't looked back.
Come back! Today i found your channel and it's great.
Great sound design examples!
Best most interesting Bitwig channel, by far. Thank you.

been a minute!
Have to get into the Grid more! Really love your content and perspective. Thank you, Kevin
Love all of this. I hope we get to see more actionable ideas for the grid and its modules.
Can you please do a beginner series for the GRID?
I am an absolut beginner, but Bitwig opened an whole new world to me.
Awesome!!
2022 is the Bitwig year ! Everybody is crazy about it and for good reasons !
So true 😏

Bitwig is FANFLEXIBLE!

Sort of a workaround but a click clip with a mute trigger works
What does OP mean?
Overpowered :)
Yes, Overpowered. Sorry I forgot to put that in the description 😅
