I usually do the claptrap dlc right at the beginning of play through 2 so I can farm the Hyperion gift shop that scales throughout the whole play through
English is not my main language so simply, -Beat game -beat game (2) -Farm alien section to reach lvl 61 -play the general bla dlc -last beat the other dlc to reach 69 Right?
-Beat game -beat game (2) THEN -play the general bla dlc to reach lvl ~61 -Farm alien section to reach lvl 69 is what he says in the video. Or alternatively do whatever is more fun for you. I honestly think i'd go a little crazy with farming just the Eridian Promontory when there is so much cool and funny content in the other DLCS.
Just a tip for everyone for playthrough #1 honestly I recommend using the Fyrestone infinite xp glitch. You literally ONLY have to have a dlc (I agree with the originator of the glitch and recommend the Tj dlc with scooter) and then start a character and get to the point of Dr Zed's health vending machine. Once it's turned on just farm the red chest nd lockers in the beginning of that DLC (where there's no enemies) till you have bout 140k (literally 5-6 runs at 2-3 mins a piece and you're done with the money there) and you just go to the machine, buuy a ton of the cheap health kits nd sell them. Continue doing this while watching your "Merchant of Death" challenge. Save and quit every 200 or so sales and then just contiue on. Stop and save and quit at 1 short of completing the challenge (rewards 20k exp). Then load in, buy a med-kit (unless you have something still to sell then just use that). Sell item, buy it back, then exit from vending machine, save and quit. Load in and do it again. This tells the game you deserve the exp reward, but the challenge isn't completed because you bought back that item so it wasn't officially "sold". Spam 20k exp reward till you are ready for playthrohgh 2 then mob it up. Or just spend the 2 maybe 2.5 hours (console time for my xbox one due to load times) spamming this reward till max lvl.
This man knows what he's talking about. On playthrough 1, I've made it to 46. Mostly through quests. Not much grinding. I saved Moxxi's for last. The enemies are my level, but not sure if they will keep up with my level. Also, not sure how long I can take doing this arena over and over. On to the prometary. On the main playthrough 2, the mobs level up with you, but the missions do not. The quest rewards stay the same level. At least the drops on mobs are your level.. or a up to 3 levels higher.
Another thing that helps, too, is to do the Zombie Island and Claptrap Revolution DLC before leaving Fyrestone on your first playthrough. The enemies will be easier to handle and when you return to the main game, you have more experience to handle the tougher enemy types
I've beat the game twice did all side missions both times, and I don't have an option for a 3rd playthrough. Playing the remaster. Edit: just realized there isn't.
the voice, no doubt. it's that typical wacky voice that, to some people, is equivalent to nails on a chalkboard. first time seeing a video from this Tuber and i appreciate the information, but i doubt i'll watch another of their videos. Joltzdude is my favorite Borderlands Tuber.
Lol I haven't beaten PT2. I went straight into General KNOXX as soon as I reached level 51(for whatever reason the level requirement for the KNOXX DLC for me was 51 so I couldn't play it until then). Since then I've been playing KNOXX and now I'm level 68(everything scales to my level tho cause I beat the DLC) and still haven't beaten playthrough 2 tho the only reason for that is because before I started playing the KNOXX DLC I learnt about pearlescent weapons and how they could only be obtained in that DLC(I slowly learned about their rarity which sucks, idk why they made them THAT rare) so I've just been running the DLC doing all the glitches and farms I can.
Those games are a bit different because of Badass Ranks instead of Weapon Proficiencies. Plus the leveling is more streamlined: basically just beat the game on Normal - True Vault Hunter - Ultimate Vault Hunter and you'll more than likely be max rank before the final boss. Borderlands 1 and the Remaster are different because there are only 2 Playthroughs, and you're AT MOST level 55 when you beat the final boss.. and you still have 14 levels to go lol
I'm level 58 with mordecai killing skags after killing the destroyer mind you a second time god I was so dumb he was level 36 I was 33 that sucked lol after that I've been killing skags which honestly has made me leveled up fast or spider ants it really helps as way to level if you don't got dlcs.
Very true! The first mission in the General Knoxx DLC requires no killing (just collecting parts) and you can pretty much instantly get to level 5 or 6 and unlock your Action Skill. From there you can go back to Fyrestone and continue on
Alan, on playthrough 2, go ahead and beat the armory and let it explode. Log off and back on to get back to T Bone Junction quickly, and turn in the quest to Athena in the back of Scooters Garage. Immediately after you turn in the quest to Athena, Marcus will contact you with a new quest, go see him. This will give you more attempts (2?) At beating the armory the legit way and everything should be at 69, (or whatever level you are). You can now commence the floor glitch and all gear should be your level. Just don't start the timer and you can farm over and over on the Marcus quests. You just can't farm it on the Athena quest. ( Well you can, but all the gear will be level 55ish). Hope this helps 😎
@Shakiel Henry Nintendo Switch, bare in mind I live in the UK so timezone maybe different.. send me your gamer tag/I.D. I'll add you when I'm back home buddy
After i finished playthrough 2 those that allow me to redo any mission or does it just allow me to visit places like the eridyian place before going to the vault
I’ve heard that side missions with weapon rewards should be completed after killing the end boss, and once you’re max level. That way the weapons scale to their max stats.
What do you mean? The let's play was only Playthrough 1. We never planned to continue the series up to max rank, for the series we wanted to beat the main story
So is early power leveling, absolutely useless for a new player, you don't really need to power level untill playthrough 2 or maybe the end of playthrough 1 depending on how you see fit
anyone on PS4 willing to power level me? Veteran player, just don't have the time I used to for max leveling....so many hours lol handmedownheart - PS4
Running with Mordecai and ignoring all shields is very satisfying
So is running a high-tier Support Gunner Class Mod on Roland and firing unlimited rockets :)
I usually do the claptrap dlc right at the beginning of play through 2 so I can farm the Hyperion gift shop that scales throughout the whole play through

Ayyy, I've been waiting for the guides to start :) great stuff Nero! Also, any plans for tps one life?

Does this still work on Xbox series x?
If you kill cramerax once all the enemies scale to 69 even in playthorough 1 of the dlc.

Best way of leveling up: enter the game of a very high leveled player when you're at level 1. Just saying. 😏
Another thing that helps, too, is to do the Zombie Island and Claptrap Revolution DLC before leaving Fyrestone on your first playthrough. The enemies will be easier to handle and when you return to the main game, you have more experience to handle the tougher enemy types
Haha by the end of ps3 days everybody was 69 with molded to shit weapons you couldn't find a regular lobby if you wanted to.
@@ghost-carnage8964 now it's like that even on day1 lol for any Borderlands game 3 or wonderlands too
I've done that on 2. I was low and the guy was level 50 but I invited him to my game and he walked thru everything
In play through 1 and play through 2 I recommend to do the claptrap dlc so you can farm the chest room
I've beat the game twice did all side missions both times, and I don't have an option for a 3rd playthrough. Playing the remaster.
Edit: just realized there isn't.
Why do people dislike the video? I mean he told you how to level up quickly and at what point in the story. Really don’t get it

Saw this and immediately got on my mordechai with trespass to full and got from 64 to 69 in like 20 minutes. Fantastic!
exactly what i was looking for. thank you!

Basically be high level then go to a high level area, kick ass, and get a couple more levels
Lol true. I mean, he is technically giving the best area. But anyone struggling with the game is walking away empty handed.
But you can’t beat the Guardians so easily without a Mordecai build and 5 points on the see through shields icon.
Nice tips man thank you ,
Crawmerax just kill the enemy’s ignore crawmerax
Hey, Nero having a really bad week how's yours going also keep up the great work:)
My week has been pretty great, sorry to hear yours isn't going so well :(
this game is so buggy and gives me hell 😭 hate how the level system works
Reached lv 69 I'm half way through the claptrap DLC, bit naff now seems pointless
What about the original borderlands, not the remastered one? Does this method still work?
Very useful and to the point, thx!
Thanks for the info, great vid 😀
Bo1 still lit 🎉
I know this is 5 years old and for the remaster but can you apply it to the OG GOTY aswell?
Hey Nero, could you do one of these type of videos for The Pre Sequel and Borderlands 2? :D
Those games are a bit different because of Badass Ranks instead of Weapon Proficiencies. That bastard barely drops pearls and those fucking chests wont spawn pearls.
Holy shit you covered stuff other than cod? Just want to let you know this wasn’t recommended till 2 years later
Anyone wanna play ps4? I need a patch up from level 48
I went back there to the eriden level on my 1st play though to farm it I'm getting crap for xp is it because I'm not doing it on the 2nd play though??
i have to play the whole game twice to get to level 50?
yup. im grinding too tho
@@boiboi-ig3cw i guess technically mcheated with the dlcs because i am already lvl 47 and im about to beat the game.

Just bought it today on the switch n my cousin level is 69 I just join n he kept killing the crawl boss for 30mins lol My level went from 1-69
Im on switch I need help too
I found that it you go to the last dlc early like at level 3 you can get to level 6 really fast
Very true! The first mission in the General Knoxx DLC requires no killing (just collecting parts) and you can pretty much instantly get to level 5 or 6 and unlock your Action Skill. From there you can go back to Fyrestone and continue on
NerosLetsPlays plus you can farm the red chest and get max sdu right off the bat
Nero, it has been a few years and I don’t remember how I did this: if Knox DLC is 61 until you beat it, how do we do the floor glitch?
Alan, on playthrough 2, go ahead and beat the armory and let it explode. Log off and back on to get back to T Bone Junction quickly, and turn in the quest to Athena in the back of Scooters Garage. Why did you not do more vids on borderlands remastered like in the back ground of this video you killed crawmarax
