Just lettin you know that foot icon isnt a speed boost but its how the game tells you that your are sprinting so when you arent sprinting the foot will dissappear
6:05 hopefully he was joking about the foot symbol because I'm pretty sure it's just a new thing added in ASA that lets you know if your sprinting. I noticed it appears whenever you sprint either when on foot or while riding a mount🙃

Also, scorched may not have a ton of water, but fasolasuchus is still incredibly fast in the water, so if you can transfer its probably a great underwater mount as well.
I like to call taming methods like this the charcar taming method. Because it was introduced with the charcarodontosaurus. Where you have to pacify the creature in some way such as feeding dead dinos to the carcharo, or blowing the fasolasuchus out of the sand and then mounting them to perform some secondary action to fill the taming bar such as killing dinos with the carcharo or crashing into stuff with the fasola.
@abdelrahmankhaled1346 I wouldn't really consider the equus to count. Since it's just a glorified passive tame. Mount it with food and hit the button when it's about to throw you off. Far different than having to run around killing stuff or guiding the dino Into rocks. The equus also doesn't have any prerequisites to mounting unlike the carcar and Faso besides avoiding detection while approaching. Similar but not equal in my opinion.
One issue ive come across with the fasolasuchus, if you get fear roared by a yuty you are immediately brought out of the ground and cannot go back in until the Debuff goes away, doesn’t matter if its at full or not, which kinda sucks
The highest I found on our server is a lvl 140. it took over an hour to tame due to the higher the lvl the less breakable rocks (including the big ones) do less torpidity. Worth it.
I'm rather disappointed that we didn't get the taming method that the concept creator talked about for their Fasolasuchus. I found it rather cool. The Ark Dev's version is just yet another torpor tame with extra damn steps to it.
I joked to a friend that they'd copy garugas conc with this one when they announced it won but holy shit it's basically the conc with slight differences
After playing on Scorched for about 20 my CPU just died. My Ryzen 7 5800X. Now I have a $1700 paper weight that I bought specifically for Survival Ascended
feels a lot like a vanilla version of the ark additions sand shark right down to c4ing it out of the ground lol. I'd be real surprised if there wasn't some inspiration ther
Do you have your wild dino resistance set to default or lowered? I've halved mine after struggling to get these things down and I still can't get them to go down :/ They gain the tiniest amount of torpor
My friend, Ark is not a realistic game. It never has been, and in fact the number of species that can be argued for their scientific accuracy is miniscule. Ark is a very stylized game, and the versions of creatures within in are not even really intended to reflect their actual paleo counterparts.
Just tamed one and honestly im kinda underwhelmed the whirlpool ablitly is useless on anything smaller than a rex and it does not work on stuff like rockgolems also they dont even ignore the rockgolems armor
I’m seeing many comments about saying how this just a normal day to day thing or just normal in Australia and yes I can confirm these comments are Very True as a Australian myself this is true
The only thing about this taming method is that it feels impossible. If you’re doing high levels I’m currently sitting here trying to tame a 135 and it feels like there are not enough rocks in the immediate vicinity to get torpor up enough. and it’s also bucking me off way before the control meter even hits a quarter
If you slow down too much from either getting stuck on something or hitting too many rocks it will buck you off, so try to keep your momentum up and avoid non destructable objects as best as you can.
Pretty cool creature but I don't feel like I really want to tame/use one. No really outstanding benefits imo. Would be cool if it was a poly harvester or effective against deathworms but I guess it isn't. Thank you for the vid 😊

the taming really reminds me of the way you stun diablos, monoblos and cephadrome form the monster hunter games
Oh Yeah diablos mono and cepha yep very similar lol
I feel like an extra ability that would be awesome is the more fasolasuchus that contribute to the whirlpool, the larger and more dangerous it gets
This is gonna be an awesome tame. Cant wait to see your eventual mutated one.
New and innovative taming technique!!
This looks like Doug from Monsterverse
No it doesn’t look like a godzilla sub species
This gave me flashbacks to the "Tremors" films, which isn't a bad thing

I must say the faso in the tumbnail looks absolutely beautiful
feel like the concavenator will be over shadowed by this lol
I'm sure gaurga will do a tlc for him
I think garuga said somthing about making conca a counter and somthing to this a while back i could be way off tho
That’s not a Dinosaur that’s just a Floridian iguana
the faso armor breaking sounds is a indicator that it implied a debuff to enemies making the faso ignore all armor that the target has
Its just like 20 procent at max

Both this and the oasisaur underwhelming damn
I expected it to be way bigger especially from the early art where it has a platform saddle
Syntac we need the Asa scorched play through

What was the original method?
This is the exact method from the dossier though? The oasisaur is the different one
This is the earliest I been to a syntac video
At least this one doesn't have a Rocussy on it's back 😅
6:38 while submerging if u let bar completely fill it'll deal a massive dmg and can be used again and again if u have stamina
Anything smaller than a rex its not really worth it tho bcs it scales with drag weight
I could see this being useful for fighting the manticore 👀
hell no lol its bite range is terrible and its too slow, itll get surrounded by rock elementals. manticore moves WAY too much
Don’t listen to the other guy I just beat manticore on alpha and it was surprisingly fun
When ep 1???
His walk is so cute😂
6:04 That icon actually means that the player is sprinting lol
Careful when trying to knock one out. The one I was going for drove us into the wyvern trench. they have no survival instinct when it comes to cliffs
6:08 Not really an indicator for speed boost, its just the symbol for telling you that you are sprinting
He's not broken but he is freaking awsome I love how his tail moves
*Basically a magmasaur-sized megalania with conca abilities and carch/conca similar taming metod...cool*
Amazing we need more unique taming methods
Pulling out his rocket launcher it kinda funny
Man the new dinosaur looks cool cant wait to try it
He takes exceptional kibble
I joked to a friend that they'd copy garugas conc with this one when they announced it won but holy shit it's basically the conc with slight differences
question: Can you tame it against covered golems?
I don’t think so but I also haven’t tried
I suggest the name Titanus Doug for your inevitable mutation.
The foot symbol just means sprint is toggled on, every creature shows that.
After playing on Scorched for about 20 my CPU just died. My Ryzen 7 5800X. Now I have a $1700 paper weight that I bought specifically for Survival Ascended
Fasilo takes exceptional kibble for best taming effectiveness and speed
Well if I remember correctly this creature is made for killing larger targets
Thanks syn!!
Do you need the dlc in order to tame it?

7:20 that looks like a demonic thorny dragon
Imagine you get bola’ed then all of a sudden you see a mf riding one of these circling you until you sink into the sand and die.
This is amazing!
Giant Iguana looking thing.
Not sure how useful it will be at level 70 but yeah it will be a lot of fun
I'd assume it depends on how much you like making bombs i suppose
Seems like an interesting tame, but my God, why did they animate it like a slow, sluggish lizard, we know these things had upright limbs...

Typical Ark Devs quite literally taking a mod creature, giving a different skin and sayin it’s theirs.
only for curiosity it can actually swim like it does in the sand ?
If you run into metal nodes somehow, the torpidity goes up a lot more.
Yeah finder a good one near metal is the hard part. And getting to it. It’s steering so so crazy and hard to control for me
Does SE still have that passive building dmg over time?
I’m not sure if anyone noticed but I just noticed the footprints in the sand, has that always been a thing?
