Miss America 1984 Beautiful Vanessa Williams Forever 🥰😊💯👍🏼
Wow! She has live her life with grace & dignity. This gives me chills. They wanted to crushed her but Vanessa pushed through the fire she was shadowed under and came afloat. She always was a true Queen to me❤
A lovely comment. Thank you for taking the time
I agree @geisha...as she was walking down the runway singing, with the slide show of her career highlights...just gave me chills and tears of joy. What a talent!❤
Vanessa Williams is, was, and will forever be timeless and fabulous. She's like fine wine 🍷! If you look up the word "resiliency" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of her!
Bless her heart...eventhough it was a long time coming, she deserved that apology 🎉
Absolutely ❤️❤️❤️
I’m confused what was the apology for?
I will say thanks at least she got an apology . Elsewhere in this same world others they never get it .
Proof positive that the best revenge is to SUCCEED well above AND beyond expectations.
Vanessa Williams has been the most high-profile, successful, and talented Miss America ever and was able to do that despite the issues of 1984; she has done ias if those events, the negative ones, had not ever occurred. Her talents have branched out to all categories of entertainment and humanity.
Wow, your support shines as brightly as these candidates' potential! Thank you for adding your positive energy to the discussion. 💖🌠
@@CrownSisters You are very welcome for that. The best should win. Vanessa was the best of 1983 for 1984. At least they apologized in 2016; too bad they did not do that sooner, like in the 90s when her success rose with her music or by the 2000s when her acting began to shine with versatility with television and Broadway theater.
God is good he always come in time. Not in our time but his time
Thanks for being a part of our UA-cam family. Your presence matters! ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely NO ONE can name another Miss America. Vanessa really didn’t do anything wrong but chose to move forward with grace and ease AND has had one hell of a career too.
Absolutely! Vanessa handled challenges with grace and has since built a remarkable career Simar. Her resilience and achievements shine, making her a memorable Miss America. ❤❤
Her song, "Save The Best For Last" is ine of my favorites ☺ So much love and respect for this empowered woman!
Your insights are valued! Thanks for sharing your comment; we'll take your ideas on board. ❤️❤️❤️
The In Living Color take on this made it a bonafide “take that” song, for me!
if she wasn't as successful as she is now they wouldn't have given this beautiful woman that's so talented, any apology but I'm glad she's getting it because she deserves it so much.
It's truly heartening to see recognition finally catching up with someone as talented and deserving as her. Success aside, her skills and abilities have always spoken volumes, and it's great to witness the acknowledgment she rightfully deserves. Here's to celebrating her achievements and hoping that this serves as a reminder to appreciate talent regardless of success metrics. Cheers to her continued success and recognition! 💖💖
Long overdue and she never should have had to resign in the first place , she’s a class act all the way and became very successful in spite of the haters and naysayers . ❤❤❤
Yup! Possibly the most successfull in the bunch! Class act indeed! X
It's Good To Hear A Apology People Are TOO Proud To Say It.
A very classy thing to do! She definitely deserved it!❤🎉🎉
Thank you Gina xxx
Why couldn’t they give her that apology in 1984. To rip that away from her wasn’t fair at all. The world didn’t care. She will always be the FIRST BLACK MISS AMERICA! We love you Vanessa.
Still beautiful
Your thoughts matter! Joining the conversation is meaningful. ❤️❤️❤️
She is such a great actress in Desperate Housewives and such a beautiful face, who recorded one of the best ballads in the 90s.
Don’t forget how great she was in ugly Betty😀😀

She didn't resign. She was asked to, but she refused. She said they'd have to fire her
This was Classy AF
And she went on to be the most successful Miss America ever. Good for her!
Long overdue but glad it happened!
Thanks for commenting❤️❤️
This is wonderful It never should have been leaked what happened Shame on the fake news for showing that stuff I am happy for Miss America 1984 In was so sad about what happened but now I am happy YAY
Leaks can be unfortunate, and it's important to respect people's privacy. It's great to see your happiness for Miss America 1984. YAY indeed!
Talented! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for appreciating Jeffrey💕
'I'll be dreaming....❤"
They should’ve re crowned her!
I've said it before I'll say it again "Class Act"! That's all.
Wow!! Long past due, however, the damage has been done. This is bittersweet.
Yes it was
In my house, my mother always referred to her as the first Black Miss America, I didn't know about her scandal until I was in high school and once I learned what the did to her, I stopped watching.
Better late than never, no doubt. But I'm sure that she's thinking, "you can keep your BS apology. We all know that you couldn't stand the fact that I was Miss America. And as you can see, I more than overcame the indignities you tried to force on me. Thanks, but you're still full of it."
💙
