The letters NX have a successful history at Honda, especially the single-cylinder NX650 "Dominator" from the late 1980s, which is still popular in Europe today as a large-displacement enduro. NX stands for "New X-over" and symbolizes versatile driving fun on asphalt roads and off-road over longer distances.

Vous avec oublié de mentionner que l'ecran n'affiche pas la température moteur comme sur tous les modèles actuels à refoidissement liquide . Je précise que je viens d'acheter ce modèle et informé Honda de cet oubli ! Si vous voulez connaître la température, ce n'est qu'en cas de panne de surchauffe d'après le manuel du propriétaire .Le service client Honda m'a contacté pour me renvoyer au manuel...

Incorrect facts. My CB500X has dual discs in the front.
Such a shame; the older model got discontinued, now we have to wait for this new model to be release which can take months, and the model is mostly the same as the old one, and the design is not even that good.
The ABS can be turned OFF??
Has the gearing problem that required many riders to change the sprocket sizes on the CB500X been resolved on this new upgraded NX500?
The gearing problem does not exist except for a small handful of people who bought the 500X to use mainly on fast main roads and wanted a taller sixth gear to lower the revs at legal cruising speeds. Those people were not concerned that the change would spoil the spark that the standard gearing gives the bike, it’s much livelier than it’s power and torque figures suggest with the standard. Being overgeared simply makes the bike less responsive on undulating roads, when riding with a pillion or heavily laden. As the new NX is placing the bike even further into the adventure bike section of the market there is no way Honda would have considered selling it with a higher final drive.
How it perform in comparison to Himalayan 452 thats the question

Traction control? Really? That’s simply a marketing gimmick.
Another uninspiring offering from Honda. I was hoping the updated bike would get as closer to the unicorn. Looks like CB Moto and Royal Enfield are the better options. At least if you want some decent off payment ability.

this is the CB500x with 2 different plastic! the TIME of the AMAZING first TRANSALP and the FIRST AFRICA TWIN are DIE.
None of the manufactures do anything new. They put adv styling on a road bike, next year they put bigger wheels on, next year they put longer travel suspension, next year update the styling again etc etc.
Как раз Хонда и делает много разных экспериментов!!! Одна только коробка DCT чего стоит, а Navi, продолжать можно долго!!! Здесь они размывают рынок кроссоверов и туристических мотоциклов - маркетинг!!! Рынок увеличивается и Хонда не спит!!!
