There is something magical about harmony sung by members of the same family. The Everly Brothers had it, and so does this beautiful group. Keep on singing, please.
Like "Seven Bridges Road" for the '70's, this song is the true "can you sing harmony" test for the '60's. I was in a band for 20 years...they are both difficult to interpret...a little easier if you have close family who can sing harmony. The Gundersen Family does a wonderful job and I think they hit the nail on the head. Thank you for sharing.
wonderful interpretation of this CSN song! Goosebumps!!! I love this song for so many years.Try to sing it with a choralgroup! It's amazingly beautiful. Thanks !!!
Helplessly hoping her harlequin hovers nearby Awaiting a word Gasping at glimpses of gentle true spirit he runs Wishing he could fly Only to trip at the sound of goodbye Wordlessly watching he waits by the window and wonders At the empty place inside Heartlessly helping himself to her bad dreams he worries Did he hear a good-bye? Or even hello? They are one person They are two alone They are three together They are for each other Stand by the stairway you'll see something certain to tell you Confusion has its cost Love isn't lying it's loose in a lady who lingers Saying she is lost And choking on hello They are one person They are two alone They are three together They are for each other
lovely - note to recordists, mike these separately too so you can move them apart in the stereo mix, which really helps the harmony ride. Listen to the original recorded by Wally Heider.
The guy playing sounds like a young Paul Simon. He also looks like a hippy that wondered onto an Iowa farm and said "you duds want to play with me?Great sound so don't get ugly just playin.
Wow. Harmony is a lot more than a few people singing together. Your voices exponentially meld into sheer beauty. Bravo.
Goosebumps!!!

this is great, but no one will ever top the original.
One of the best goes, some are awful..
To the 5 who selected "thumbs down," I'd appreciate the opportunity to hear you and your friends sing 3 part harmony to almost perfection.
Heavily computer effected, she CAN NOT sing!!!
Nails on a chalkboard.
