How is muddy bare foot easier than bad shoes? They might not have good traction or be water tight but they offer MUCH better protection for your feet across rough terrain like that. I've walked in the woods, marshes, fields, and over gravel enough time to know that bat foot ware is almost always better than bare feet unless you have spent an extensive amount of time training and hardening the soles of your feet or are going over gentle terrain.

On top, given the shape, once you get about 3/4 of the foot into the mud, it won't budge if you try to pull straight up leaving running out of the equation. Although exposing yourself to other factors, you gain very valuable mobility. (About the soles, talking from experience, they're not too hard to develop my guy. Merely by walking barefoot when being around the house and garden will build it up in matter of weeks)
I think the big predators and small predators not liking each other is a reference to wild life behavior. Smaller predators are better adept to killing most of the game like deer, so big predators have to keep smaller predator populations in check in order to be able to eat.
The big predators are a subspecies of the normal predators. They are taller, more slender, have longer faces, scaly skin, different, and more swept back dreadlocks. They are at war due to the big predators breaking Yautja law and dishonoring the entire race. Normal predators do not hunt women and children, will not killed those unarmed and seriously injured, and will fight fairly such as gun vs gun, blade vs blade, and taking off their armor when fighting hand to hand. The big predators do no follow those rules, and will in fact try to kill in the cruelest method possible, with the number of trophies being the primary concern.
The attention to detail will surprise viewers. They even pay some fan service to the first one. Russian viewers noted that Nikolai said in Russian "You have an ugly snout" or something very similar before he blew himself up. It's clearly an homage to Dutch's famous line "You're one ugly motherfucker!"
Agree, it is pretty good but I wish they would have a better explanation of how predators kidnapped a select group of humans known to be elite warriors from different parts of earth, had them stay in a state of unconsciousness with no memory whatsoever of being abducted but gain consciousness during a free fall.
Being South African, the storyline of Mombasa is interesting. First, rebels are unheard of in SA. Second Mombasa is not a common name, actually the only Mombasa I know and have heard of is a city in Kenya.
Predators (2010) Rodriguez filmed a lot of this in and around Austin. The 'Camp' scene was filmed at Troublemaker Studio. The very same where 'Alita' was filmed.
What I hate about the predator franchise is their cloaking mechanism. Like wouldn’t using that make it insanely easy to kill prey? So what honor is there really there in that?

This film in the franchise is so heavily underrated. It brought back the jungle hunt aspect while getting rid of the cheesy corny nature the later sequels brought forward and actually made the Predators scary again. I don’t know why they didn’t just continue with sequels with this film which the comics have some awesome continuation but I’m glad the last Prey film was finally well done as between this film and Prey were some of the worst piece of craps ever
I love the set up that Royce is good at slipping away after a distraction and reengaging from a superior position. He’s deadly as fuck because he fights with his mind AND his body. His first plan of using the others for bait 100% set up his second plan of using the little guy and the ship for bait, to get the drop on the Hunter predator
i would love for there to be a sequel where Humans and Yauatcha needs to cooperate i love that abbout the Yauatcha, that they dont care if you are human or bug....they often respect you if you show yourself worthy and able to defend yourself against them.
If you get the chance to obtain the movie (physical media or digital) the deleted scenes are great - they should have left them in. There is also many backstory shorts that provide context for the characters.
I love these movies👍 BUT I hate when they make the powerful beast start simply tossing the person around that they're fighting, only to be killed because they wasted all those opportunities tossing the wimpy man around instead of smashing his head in!😵 It's so aggravating that every monster movie has those weak fight scenes that are so predictable😖

I enjoyed the movie, but they didn't conserve their ammo and shot away like they had a lifetime supply instead of the limited amount they normally carry. A small point I know, but it kinda bugged me. I still enjoyed it.

Yeah, the Predators are from Yautja alien race, the small one (the one that the group finds tied up) is pureblood, they have a high sense of honor, whereas the 3 big ones are badbloods, who usually don't hesitate playing dirty to kill the prey as quickly and as efficiently as possible, although the one fighting Hanzo definitely shows him respect by engaging in melee combat.

Predators have an interesting relationship with humans. They're stronger, tougher, and have better technology. Still, they kind of respect humans, because exceptional humans can beat them. So, they make humans a respected target in their hunts.
Nicolai is probably the biggest Chad in the whole movie, kept his word, doesn't forget kindness, and killed a predator
