- We started off product testing on the shop 2020 Road Glide with the best bang for your buck when it comes to air cleaners, the Arlen Ness Big Sucker. This product utilizes the stock OEM air cleaner cover and it has one of the largest filtration areas to really help that M8 motor breath.
We did a before/after Dyno run to see what kind of improvement you can expect from just a simple upgrade.
The Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air Cleaner is available with three different backing plate finishes (Chrome, Black or Natural). And fitment options include almost all Harley models from 1984-Up.

If you are going to do an install, you should show what you are doing
Do they call it Stage 1 because it is part of a stage 1 upgrade, or because it's too small for those of us with stage 2 kits and therefore limited to stage 1 applications only?
I have a 2020 RGS with slip on and I would like to change the air filter
The video was somewhat helpful, but lacked detail. I just bought one of these kits for my 2020 Tri Glide and the pictures they included with the instructions were useless. Almost just black squares. he didn't show how to place the "O" rinds on the backing plate, putting lock tight on screws, and where to place the other gaskets included with the kit.
This video was quite helpful as A) my technical prowess is somewhere between changing lightbulbs and mowing the lawn and B) The instructions that came from Arlen Ness the pictures were so dark they were of no use and I’m hindered when it comes to reading instructions. Thank you and a quick question I have stock pipes that I removed the baffles and pulled the wadding it already sounds and runs better will I need a tune some point it runs really good right now but I literally just finished. (2019 Road Glide Ultra b t w)

Does it except the K&N filter?
Wondered if u checked out the aluminum 55mm intake manifold, I've heard a gain of 3-5 hp and 2-3 on turq too
We have the S&S 55mm here to test out, just haven't had time yet. Also doing the 64mm SE during our cam testing

Do the breather bolts/tubes go on the inside of the filter? I run a tubed out catch can.
They do route back into the motor
So the bike did not run shitty with the new air filter and no tune so does that mean that you really don’t have to tune your bike if you change the air filter?
While a tune is always recommended if you're only adding an air cleaner then you should be good.
Did you do a tune with the new air filter?
No tune change. Also done in 4th gear due to the OEM Speed Limiter.
