Thank your for sharing to educate the world. Every decision has consequences and the blame game has to end. It is up to all of us to change and the corruption is from the wealthy and the governments that manipulate and lie to its people. It is getting more difficult to bring change when algorithms control the flow of information and people distracted with everyday lives and choices.
The video conclusion hypocrisy of how free energy is converted for cost by private investors. That is the main problem with our civilization. Cost of living isn't technically mandatory but it is enforced like slavery within society ideology. This video is just more evidence from decades of neglect and lies to cover up the truth to manipulate people for profit. Governments, well connected politicians and wealthy investor corruption controls everything worldwide ignoring the climate change that inevitably will cause our extinction. Hundreds of years of scientific evidence dating back millions of years from the smartest people on the planet and the ones making decisions that effects the entire planet are those in positions of power with no understanding of the decisions they make. This world is lead by lawyers, political leaders and capitalists that only know business and law with no scientific background. How can anyone do a job responsibly without understanding what they are actually legislating. Money doesn't create solutions to problems it only diverts the concept of the problems creating new ones.
Carbon capture is a waste of time because burying the problem will only get released yet again in the future from a geological disaster. Modernizing islands is a waste of resources. They are only thinking about the money not the long term benefit of the people. Investors in wind and solar energy to market cost that continue to go up from inflation and maintaining the system. Leaders plan things they know nothing about and engineers sell a job for money without a care in the world of the problems the people will face. Dependency and lack of understanding from greed and pride is a big mistake. People should be migrating from the islands and coastal cities around the world. Economies should be slowing down and thinking about solutions to minimize activity but instead they want to generate more activity which will accelerate climate change faster with more devastating weather changes around the world. Only 64k views on this common sense video is concerning to me. If cost of living keeps worldwide activity going that produces climate change then why are the people ignoring the problem. So much destruction from climate change and the only solution people come up with is complain about it, clean it up and rebuild for it to happen again and again. What exactly are people thinking?
Insurance isn't going to save the planet but the resources used to rebuild what was lost will create chaos on supply chains making costs continue to rise and climate change will keep getting worse.
Every time the economy starts to slow down the environment changes a little then it ramps up again when opportunity is created with a new investment venture. Humanity can't stop climate change anymore but we can slow it down before something terrible happens. The permafrost melting is very concerning because that is geological changes underground from environmental changes above ground. Two part environment that works together maintaining a balance just like jet streams and ocean currents regulating temps around the world. A mega quake or super volcano would cause major damage to this civilization and to our planet. Rapid warming and rapid cooling would cause a severe impact on nature that affects all life on this planet. Climate change is just a word but the underlying concept is far reaching in the environment. While people keep ignoring the problem by distracting themselves from the solution and refusal to change will only make things worse. Investors cause problems with ideas to create wealth and governments abuse their power to create lifestyles of influence to create wealth and power. Domination creates chaotic environments in society with cost of living for practically everything making life difficult for the many while the few waste resources for personal ambitions. I hear ideas all the time that won't work but will trap people paying
the cost for ignorance. Global markets collapse while investors lose all their capital to cause any further harm. Cost of living ends for everyone worldwide taking power from the government and wealthy that manipulate people from changing. New world humanitarian government created that manages worldwide resources responsibly that benefit everyone by limiting activity and distributing wisely. Humanity must make sacrifices from the abundant waste to produce and limit resources to create a basic needs policy for everyone. Slavery has to end for healing to begin. The dividing leadership around the world must agree on unity for humanitarian leadership by the most intelligent people on the planet. Scientists must lead the way to the future not businessmen and politicians that don't know anything. Countries should not have a single leader but a board of leaders with intelligence to shape the future and is closely involved with the world humanitarian government. Laws must change with humanitarian security in mind not enslavement to cost of living and obsolete human rights oppression. A new world environment can be stimulated with intelligence and hope for peace and equality of everyone. Time for rapid sacrificial change because we are 50 years late to begin. We can't stop climate change anymore but we can slow it down to the point of not getting worse. It will take thousands of years to reverse the process of global warming. All non essentials must stop immediately and world wide traffic must calm down and reduce massively. Adaptation and change is hard but it must be done to show the evidence that we are the cause to the world. Don't take these words on faith and hope for change. This will be humanities final experiment. Change for life and healing of our world or watch it burn and whither away while billions of people slowly die and nature just disappears. The choice is all of yours so think about this really hard before you get up
to go to work tomorrow. The first step is the hardest but the solution is easy if you can manage the basics. Shelter, food and water. Good luck everyone.

I am 67 years old. When I was in high school, I remember that they told us that we were in a major freeze, and that the Earth was going to get colder. We were told that it was man-made also. Global warming came about shortly after, and that evolved into climate change, because it was obvious they couldn't really prove that the Globe was actually warming up. And then, there's the planet mars, and they can tell through just looking at high-powered telescopes, that they are polar ice was also getting smaller. How could that be? Man does not live on Mars. So, it must be a solar action. That makes a lot more sense. And what they're telling us about our polar regions getting smaller getting larger, they're lying to us. Remember how the ship that was loaded with scientists went down to the Antarctic region during the southern hemisphere's summer, and the ship got stuck in ice? That ship was stuck for over six months and they had to send the biggest icebreaker in the southern hemisphere out of Australia to get that ship back again. But the news reports, and the mass media, they won't tell you that. "A rescue effort to remove 52 passengers (researchers) on board a research ship that had been trapped in Antarctica ice for nine days was successful, and they were evacuated safely by helicopter, the expedition leader said on Thursday. A helicopter from the Chinese icebreaker "Snow Dragon" ferried the passengers in small groups several times from the ice-bound ship, "Akademik Shokalskiy," and transferred them to an Australian Antarctic supply ship, the "Aurora Australis".

Remember when they found those P 38 lightnings in Greenland? There was a whole squad of them, but they were able to get one. They had to dig 300 feet into the ice to pull that airplane back up again, which they did and they restored it and they flew it again. Why are the other planes that we left behind are now even deeper? If the glaciers are getting smaller due to lack of snowfall, how is it that the planes are getting deeper? How is it that the planes ever got that deep anyway? If the planet is warming up, shouldn't those planes be easier to reach and retrieve?

So Mr CHERRY-PICKER is back !
For people like you there is never a problem for one very good reason: if you look at 10 parameters, 9 showing a degradation trend and one showing a stabilisation or a small improvement, then it's a proof that all is fine. Forget global warming, no issue at all, folks !
On my side when I search for Arctic data (on Copernicus, sorry not NSIDC, "service interruption"), I see a LONG TERM degrading trend, and a SHORT TERM stabilisation. Does it mean it's all over?
I just checked one of your "proofs" (Zhang (2021) ), the explanation for a larger surface is the fact that ice is thiner. Is this really a good news?
      The text here:
"Plain Language Summary Results from the Pan‐arctic Ice‐Ocean Modeling and Assimilation System (PIOMAS) show significant decline of Arctic sea ice volume (SIV) in the past decades. However, the SIV decline is slowing down during 2007-2020 with increasingly higher air and ocean temperatures, which is in line with satellite CryoSat‐2 observations of largely stabilized SIV since 2011. The slowdown of the SIV decline is because of relatively strong decreases in ice export from the Arctic and increases in ice growth in the Arctic. The relatively strong increase in ice growth in 2007-2020 is because thinner and less compact ice, which is the norm in recent years, has much higher growth rates than thicker ice under freezing conditions. Thinner ice also moves faster and deforms more, which tends to create more open water to stimulate ice growth in 2007-2020. Thus, the ice export and growth processes play a role in slowing down the SIV decline in recent years and may continue to play that role in the future."

However this is different now, the past is irrelevent here, we are not witnessing a slow climate change on a planet with only a few hundred thousand human beings, all nomads that could easily migrate to new virgin territories. The word of God has never been taken seriously. It was written through the prophets 3000 years ago that the earth will be destroyed with fervent heat, 2 Peter 3: 10-14.
The apostle John also was a witness of the terrible scenes that will take place as signs of Christ's coming. He saw armies mustering for battle, and people's hearts failing them for fear. He saw the earth moved out of its place, the mountains carried into the midst of the sea, the waves thereof roaring and troubled. He saw the vials of wrath opened, and pestilence, famine, and death come upon the inhabitants of the earth.
Already the restraining Spirit of God is being withdrawn from the world. Hurricanes, storms, tempests, fire and flood, disasters by sea and land, follow each other in quick succession. Science seeks to explain all these. The signs thickening around us, telling of the near approach of the Son of God, are attributed to any other than the true cause. People cannot discern the sentinel angels restraining the four winds, that they shall not blow until the servants of God are sealed. But when God shall bid His angels loose the winds, there will be such a scene of strife as no pen can picture.

All I see are people stuck in the old ways that need to adapt. Plant new crops; Certain grapes and wines along with over half our fruit trees are expected to become extinct by 2050; I planted and planned for this 12+ years ago. Everyone should do the same. Be aware and pay attention.

Wrong. Climate (temperatures and CO2) remained globally very STABLE during the entire Holocene (the last 11,700 years) and only increased when we, human beings, started to emit GTo of CO2 when we started burning industrial quantities of coal, then oil and gas. Both went up together. The change is not natural this time and it is happening much too fast.
