Amazing observation..I love the cinematography of his films... It appears to me as a blend of old school Bengali romance setting and the Shakespearean drama grandeur. The background speaks volumes.
One important point that you missed in the clip was the marketing of his films. After Guzarish, majority of his films worked because of the controversy it generated whether it is in Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani or Padmavat. Had the controversy not been raked would they have been box office success???
@@PulkitKocharofficial I am talking about the films released after Guzarish. After Black, both Sawariya and Guzarish (it was a good film) flopped at the box office. And those 3 films had some controversy at the time of release. That is why i made that comment.
