I dont know whether youll see this, I work for an embroidery company and you will need backing paper for every garment, it is better to put the squares in a star shape when hooping up because it allows a crisper and stronger medium for the stitch., also dont forget to oil the machine each day you use it because it will minimise thread and bobbin breaks. Good luck😁 btw I have loved your videos for many years, and you have motivated me to start up illustration again after burnout from my degree 😊
What do you mean by star shape? How does the square become a star?
I think she means the backing, it helps any shape you sew crisper edges

@@UncleJBJ yeah she does. I also work with embroidery machines at my workplace and its what we do at work to ensure full coverage and the two layers makes sure the embroidery has a sturdy base to hold onto and not warp the garment when embroidering.

After working in women's fashion retail, I agree shelved sweaters will collapse all the time. the two options . 1. is that we did piles and used shelf dividers that were moveable between the piles 2. was that we put the bulky sweaters and sweatshirts in bins .
A couple of things- your hair looks AMAZING, you and Kiki are like the very best of friends, and as far as embroidery as the new direction, I absolutely support that, 1000%!!!!😁🙏

What i would recommend is you calling a custom T Shirt shop, and ask them what they think about the brand you got! Alot of those shops are small businesses and are willing to talk

I love the bangs!!! I cut mine with kitchen shears a few months ago in a fit of mania and I’ve never felt better about my hair!! Anytime I went to a salon and asked for them I ended up hating them but doing it myself it’s like. Idk like I knew where I wanted them and couldn’t be mad if they were bad cause they were free 🤣 but it’s like even when I don’t wanna do anything with my hair the bangs make them look like there was an attempt vs before 😮💨❤️

I’ve not been to a salon since February 2019 when I went in for a soft pixie and they gave me a blunt page boy, by the time I grew out enough to do anything with again it was COVID times so I said heck it I’ll do it myself 😮💨 It’s so funny I bleached my hair in June 2020 with intentions of going pink because I loved your pink hair and had wanted to do it too for so long, then it was Covid and my bday and I was like “Life’s too short I’m gonna do it!” but I never went through with the next step and just stayed honey blonde forever. Then let it grow out and bleached again two years later and went red right after you went auburn/red the first time I was like I’m sensing a pattern here - and then when I saw you got bangs I showed my bf like the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the tv meme like OMG NOT AGAIN BUT I LOVE IT 🤣❤️❤️❤️

@@LoVeAmYxOxO it will compact it and it will be difficult, if not impossible, to get fluffy again so it actually spaces out parcels. There's a reason they don't compress it for shipping.

Ive only had brother and baby lock machines as experience so good luck for your training and beginning of embroidery journey. My preference for stabilizer is to use sticky tear away
The spicerack would look nice for the threadspools aswell.

aaah I know it's a bit late to comment this but my friends Boira plushies use embroidery machines to make the faces and details of the plushies they make, I think they've made a few videos talking about machines they use/have used, but I'm sure if you'd ask they'd share info on it!

Bailey you will be fine. I just went through my 2 day training and I’m wondering why I didn’t get one sooner. I went with back and forth with which machine to get and went with the CAM5 2 Head machine. Supplies will def take up all your money. Best of luck.

would a grid shelveing (like those used for display at cons) work for storing the sweaters? that way you can keep sizes seperate as well
My dad sells band shirts he has shelves like the ones you have and he has all of the same size shirts together and idk if he has them by band or not only he knows how he has them organized

I think bins are best for keeping your stuff in, it keeps the sweaters, shirts etc clean, and pet hair free especially fof people that have pet allergies instead of shelves, I've purchased items from people that have their stock on shelves and when I received them they where full of pet hair and dust. I didn't say anything but yeah bins are better lol
I will be bagging them all, so fur shouldn't be too much of an issue.

For the sweaters, I know personally (and plenty of friends) wear them with just an undergarment or tank top of sorts, so often I base my sweaters off the interior texture. If its going to be itchy and not backed, than personally it makes it an item I grab less. I'm not sure about the majority, but I know plenty of others who wear them like that. just food for thought.
A few people have said the same, so I'm now considering it! Either as the default, or an optional add-on.

Hi Baylee, I like to watch Angela Jasmina and her embroidery from all different products. Perhaps you should put a good table in your room, because a machine is always shaking a little. I think you won't like to effect the shaking in your final result.
Congratulations on your new machine and good luck on your training and a lot of fun with it.
The table shake shouldn't (and I mean shouldn't not that it's impossible) affect the design unless it runs into the wall and changes position
The machine has its own stand, so it won't be on the tables. I do plan on upgrading the plastic table to a proper one since it shakes a lot doing normal tasks.
I'm envisioning a Christmas in July sale so you can make a dent in all that Christmas merch! I bet it'd be pretty good.
Honestly this is such a good idea! By the time it’s actual Christmas shopping time I either didn’t plan my finances well enough or the stores sell out of the cute Christmas stuff I wanted minutes after launching. This way I could get a few things ahead of schedule 👀❤️
