For your scissors, maybe a magnetic strip on your wall ? Like the ones you can put in your kitchen for knives. I hope that makes sense. BTW I'm excited for your embroidery journey
Yay, love the space! My mother worked as a sewer so some suggestions if you need: 1. Permanent ruler on table top, painted? Glued? You will ALWAYS need to measure something. 2. Tailors chalk 3. Peg boards, hooks under front edge of tables? 'pen cups', other stationary organisation for bits (don't store scissors in a way where they will be dropped/standing on their tip) 4. Straight edge and wheel cutter for stabiliser Love you and your videos 😊 always look forward to them. Thank you ❤
Wow, can't wait to see your manufacturing workshop up and running! I think you're bloody amazing, how you put your ideas into reality. (Rec Ikea KUNGSFORS magnetic strip to hold scissors for easy access)
It’s a good idea to have two of each of your embroidery hoops because while one is being used, you can set up the next item to be embroidered and then swap while you’re sorting out the one that’s just been done
I love organizing spaces so much so I love these videos where you put a room together and I had the biggest grin and nodded so enthusiastically when you stuck the magnetic hoops to the metal bottoms of the desk. I was already sitting there like "too bad she can't attach that pegboard she's going to put the hoops on to the underside back of that first table since it's right there and easily accessible, it'd be a great vertical space out of the way but still useable." And then you stuck the hoops directly to it and my little organizer brain went "brrrrr" 😂
I really love and admire how you go full in with your projects each time! When you decide to do it, you just give your everything for it to work, that’s really inspiring!
oh my gosh! i watched your videos religiously when i was younger, and i happened to stumble across you again!! i’m glad to see that you’re doing great :))
I’m honestly living for these vlogs atm. I’ve been a subscriber for years and I’ve loved watching your content evolve, these vlogs are definitely my favourite please don’t ever stop 😂😂
Ahhh I love seeing your business grow and expand! I can't wait to see you get started on your sweaters, and I'm def going to keep a lookout to order one once it launches! Good luck with everything!
Hope you & your family are safe during these fires! We are getting hit pretty harsh w/the smoke here in the states. I’m in Indiana and we are feeling it here. Of course it’s nothing compared to the actual fires. Just wanted to send good vibes!🙏🏻🤗
Get the foam bumpers they sell for kid proofing corders/edges! They make really legit squishy ones and they work great. I know they come in white, and likely gray too.
So, suggestions: a small pegboard to the sides of the Melcos on the wall to hang your scissors and anything else you need access to while you’re working at the machines. Possibly, put a pegboard to hang the hoops from above the hooping station. That way, you can simply reach out and grab the appropriate hoop without having to walk around to the back of the table near the door to retrieve the one you want. While I _love_ the idea of the hoops stuck to the back of that table, long term, the back and forth will get tiresome. The idea of hanging the stabiliser on the side of the table by the door appeals, but I suspect if this takes off you’ll end up buying pre-cut stabiliser so rather than storing a roll, you’ll need to store stacks. If the choice is between spending a little bit extra money to get pre-cut stabiliser, versus spending time to cut it all down, I think you’ll take the saving time option. I’m working on a much smaller scale, and I’m already finding that pre-cut is better - but I’m pee-cutting my own because it’s difficult to source pre-cut in Australia. Good luck with the new venture: will you be offering personalisation?
No, I don't plan on offering personalization (at least for now). Yeah, definitely need a spot to keep the tools at the machine. As for the hoops, I figured we would use the same ones multiple times in a row. If a sweater design requires 2 different hoops, stitch out hoop 1 on 10 sweaters, then hoop 2 on the same 10 sweaters. That way you also keep the same design file open instead of flopping back and forth.
If the stabilizer comes in a roll you can attach a holder to the wall and measure and cut that way. It keeps it out of the way but accesible when needed.
This is soo cool! Love watching the room come to life! The tapestry actually looks neat behind the machine because it fits so perfectly. I'm so jealous of your grilled cheese and soup lunch I'm on a diet lol
You could cut the big gray mat down into ‘standing mats’ , like to put in front of the embroidery machines or the stations where you spend alot of time standing while working. 😊
Hang a pipe from the ceiling above the bins? So you can have some designs hanging? I dunno, just thinking aloud. And you can also use the pegboard for spools, if you have some slanted pegs? Spools make for a cottage-y vibe aswell 😍
I love how you organize everything so quickly. Would that rubber mat fit in the area where the machine is? It would help protect that beautiful floor and perhaps reduce the noise somewhat.
wow i love what you done to the place!! i know you been practicing with your new machine, i dont blame you, i would be embroidering everything (not the cats) lol
Ooh, how about a metal straight edge cutter. I think they sell them. They’re a ruler or yard stick with not only straight edges but a groove for cutting fabric with scissors.
We store our spools on the wall, and the Emb hoops also. Hoops do bend and break, so we store them up on the wall. For the Table edges, they made foam corners for baby-proofing. Are you going to do your own digitizing?
You may want to hang your stabilizer roll on the door side of the table under the counter. It would allow for pulling it up onto the counter for quick cutting (consider a cutting mat). It would also cushion that rough corner by having something softer to avoid the corner. But I’m not sure if that would be too big of an obstacle with a full roll.
Hey Baylee. Love your vlogs! In another video you said you had alot of bags left, have you thought of maybe custom embroidering peoples names on them (for a fee of course ) to help them sell faster? Or maybe embroidering your signature? Just a thought!
Have you considered plastic sewing cutting mats for your tables, especially where you’ll be cutting stabilizer? Most have some measurement grids, but they also work well for protecting your table. I’d avoid the rubbery ones unless they say latex-free because when people order clothes they may need them to not have been in contact with nor have latex in them.
I think I missed the vlog where you initially explained about Ch officially helping out with the biz. Is he working full time with you now? So excited to see all the new embroidery content!!
Right now he works for me part-time, but once the embroidery stuff is up and running, he'll likely switch to working for me full-time. That's assuming there's enough demand for embroidered items. 😆
Then the other sharp corner would be on the side we stand on. To me, it makes sense to have all the rounded edges inside the U since that's the primary workspace. But either way you place it, there will be a sharp corner.
For the corner of your machine they have bumpers for the corner of furniture so babies don't get hurt. I had to use it for my dresser because it is so close to my bed (we have a small bedroom) and I was tired of getting injured all the time, lol.
Hi Baylee Quick question. I see that you have had your art works converted into diamond paintings. Have you considered converting them to cross-stitch patterns? I would buy the patterns in a heart beat. Heaven and earth designs is where I look for artist designed patterns.
“Yeah! the sweat shop is coming together “😂😂😂😂
Christian such a good guy! He’s always pitching in and helping! I love the set up! It’s all coming together so good!

Oooo, yes, a magnetic strip would be perfect!
That accidental Kim Possible cosplay tho 😂 "so what's the sitch?"
Baylee blessed us on a Tuesday ✨ praise the magic conche! (And in perfect time for eating my dinner)
OOLOOLOLOOLOLOOO~! ✨
@@yatsuillustrations i could hear that :D
The slide sandals you guys have are so comfortable. literally feel like walking on clouds
ur hair is so pretty 😭 love the bangs moment. it changes everything!!
Just remember, y’all. We were here before Baylee got her warehouse. ☺️

I do have two of each!

For the table corners, try checking out corner protectors. Mainly used to protect children from hurting themselves on the corners of tables etc.
oh my gosh! i watched your videos religiously when i was younger, and i happened to stumble across you again!! i’m glad to see that you’re doing great :))
get a baby proofing thing for the corner of the table!

Embroidery room awesomeness! For your little scissor snips, you could get one of those chef knife magnet bars!
WE ARE GETTING FED BAYLEENATION !!!!
surprise tuesday vlog? oh baylee, you shouldn’t have!

That is how I room plan but I use actual graph paper 🤣 I love it! Looking good so far!
I can't wait for embroidery production vlogs !!!
The Kim possible look tho 😂❤
i like the kim possible theme outfit, also exited for you to have an embroidery room. cant wait to see more of your embroidery art work
Now I want grilled cheese and tomato soup! 🤤
Get the foam bumpers they sell for kid proofing corders/edges! They make really legit squishy ones and they work great. I know they come in white, and likely gray too.
Your embroidery content has inspired me to start hand embroidery!! Its so much fun!
Everything is coming together nicely, very excited for the sweatshirts! ❤

Gahhhhh, I still need to watch Saturday's vlog!! BRB!!!
You could always use the clothes rack when packing orders, or just for cute display. ☺️💝
Exciting new adventure, I cannot wait to see your designs on the clothes 😊
Looks spiffy. I think you’re tempting that machine to become enchanted though. 😊
If the stabilizer comes in a roll you can attach a holder to the wall and measure and cut that way. It keeps it out of the way but accesible when needed.
Ooooooww this is soooo exciting watching you get into machine embroidery!!! Love your room Baylee ❤
You do such a good job of bringing us in to be part of your project. Thank you.

Ooooo surprise Tuesday blog😁
You are so very talented in organization. Very impressive!!!!! 😊
One of those clear protective rubber corners they use to pad corners of tables for kids would work well on that sharp table corner
I love the embroidery content!! Can't wait to see what you'll make with it :)
Not even 10 seconds into the vlog, and the Kim Possible reference killed me 😂😂😂
You could cut the big gray mat down into ‘standing mats’ , like to put in front of the embroidery machines or the stations where you spend alot of time standing while working. 😊
18:00 very much "quiet ending shot after a bittersweet A24 film" vibes!
Ooooh this room is coming along nicely ❤

Baylee on Ruesday!!! Lovely bonus. Great setup.
Painting the packing station was sooooo much work. I'm not prepared to do that again. 😆
A new vlog? Blessed
I am super clumsy and have found the baby proofing items for corners to be extremely helpful 😅
I love how you organize everything so quickly. Would that rubber mat fit in the area where the machine is? It would help protect that beautiful floor and perhaps reduce the noise somewhat.

I do hope this is a success, I don't even want to imagine how much this is all going to cost once it's all put together lol
You should get one of those magnetic knife holders for your scissors
Room I looking lovely 😊
Hey Baylee. Love your vlogs! In another video you said you had alot of bags left, have you thought of maybe custom embroidering peoples names on them (for a fee of course ) to help them sell faster? Or maybe embroidering your signature? Just a thought!
I would love to see some patches!!
One thing at a time, lol.
Awesome set-up, Baylee
you can make a shelf to secure the spool/cone holder onto. that will get them out of the way and onto an otherwise unused wall
Hanging it from a couple nails would also do the trick since the kickstand collapses.
that table that is towards the bins probably can be turned around so you can slide thing under the table easily
Have you considered plastic sewing cutting mats for your tables, especially where you’ll be cutting stabilizer? Most have some measurement grids, but they also work well for protecting your table.

Like two or something vlogs ago it was all white outside and snowing, and now you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch 😂😂😂😂 you gotta love Canada 😂
Hey now, the snow's been gone longer than that. 😆
What about glassine or big paper bags for holding the shirts when they’re done and ready to ship?
Make the grey work with complimentary colour, like pink 🙂
Yyeeaahh extra vlog 😊
It's looking awesome, Baylee ❤ I'm all here for the cat content, too lol
6:23 What’s in the pink cart please? Also where did you get the tables you put together?
Where are the tables with the metal grey legs from?
Baylee, you look like Ariel from little mermaid with long red hair. love it!
Thank you!
you can get rubber/silicon corner protectors!
Baylee, this new adventure is so exciting. Where did you get the bins for your sweaters? I’ve been looking for that size. Thanks!
They're from Uline. Yes, they're so hard to find! This was the only place I could find big clear ones. A single bin is like $40 CAD though. 😖
@@BayleeJae thanks!
My absolute favorite part of the video is when Kiki said ABSOLUTELY NOT on the ride ... she was like NOPE, c ya
😂
Get the soft baby corners, protectors
ayyayay you posted i love it
first 13 seconds... I did NOT expect that
Could put a baby bumper on there too. Nice round rubbery corner :)
Just a suggestion You could put a piece of scrap fabric from your embroidery work around that corner to "pretty it up" more. Just a thought.
Sorry if been mentioned but may I ask about desks? Where from
I think I missed the vlog where you initially explained about Ch officially helping out with the biz. Is he working full time with you now? So excited to see all the new embroidery content!!

Turn the tabletop around on the one closest to the door. It will be a nicer corner and there won't be a gap in the table top as well.
Then the other sharp corner would be on the side we stand on. To me, it makes sense to have all the rounded edges inside the U since that's the primary workspace. But either way you place it, there will be a sharp corner.
Niiiiiice! Love the setup 💕
Don’t forget all of the sweatshirts will help with the echos!
I never clicked a notification so fast
How about wall mounted monitors ? So u can use more space on the table and I think itll look nice..
For the corner of your machine they have bumpers for the corner of furniture so babies don't get hurt. I had to use it for my dresser because it is so close to my bed (we have a small bedroom) and I was tired of getting injured all the time, lol.
Hope u saw the advice of wearing safety glasses and putting up your hair around the embroidery machine. No needles in the eye! 🌸
once you start producing sweaters they will also absorb sound
Can you install wheels on the wardrobe so it can be easier to move?
Kim possible 🎶🎶
🤣🤣🤣
Yes!!!
Is it the tapestry from the old art room? It looks so much smaller.
Yes, it's the same one!
Hi Baylee
Quick question. I see that you have had your art works converted into diamond paintings. Have you considered converting them to cross-stitch patterns? I would buy the patterns in a heart beat. Heaven and earth designs is where I look for artist designed patterns.
Get some baby proofing corners. You can get them in clear.

It’s Baylee possible! 😂
is beauty and the beast ur favourite disney movie or just your favourite disney princess movie?
Fave in general.
