    The new loveseat is beautiful!
A word of caution though: a lot of cats die from recliners because they can hide underneath them and get strangled in the mechanism, so make sure you’re careful when putting it down. You can also get double sided tape to put underneath to prevent them from walking down there.
Wouldn’t want to hurt the bebes :)

I think it would be neat if you embroidered Baylee Jae to look like your signature onto the bottom of the sleeve or near the bottom towards the side of the shirt, cause I think people would want to show off that they have a Baylee Jae embroidered shirt. 😁

For the sweaters- color match the thread to the sweater and put your signature - either on the back of the neck, bottom of a sleeve or like the side of the bottom hem of the sweater ( like just in front of the side seam)

I don't recommend sublimation, because the print will be faint on cotton material and will fade quickly, especially if you plan to put it on the neck. It should also be taken into account that, to the best of my knowledge, you will only be able to use a logo darker than the color of the sweater, which, for example, will not be good for a black sweater. I also recommend either screen print transfer or iron-on flex vinyl (but good quality), as far as I know, the latter can be cut with a cricut machine, so you can even make it at home. Ironing the inside of the sweater can be difficult, and as you said, it will become uncomfortable over time, so I recommend putting the logo outside on the neck or somewhere on the torso.

You’re correct, sublimation works best on polyester. I’d recommend standard screen print transfers. You can press them right on the inside fleece, the collar ribbing will not hold the transfer and crack as it gets worn.

@@BayleeJae Screen printing transfers or DTF transfers are your best option and they do not get itchy. (If screen prints are cracking then they were made badly)
A Canadian company I use is Ton Atellier, they offer neck labels in 3 types (I recommend the hot peel ultra soft) the best part is that they are very inexpensive! They have discounts for larger quantities but 100-199 with 1 colour is only $0.77 (200-399 drops it to $0.31)
Shipping is also flat rate $6 or free over $150

About your “tag”: I would recommend NOT putting it on the collar. First, collars wear out first and get the most skin oils. Especially if it’s a pullover; they are stretched out constantly to pull on and off so a tag there will wear out very quickly.
Second, Many people cut out the tags on the collar because they find them irritable. Anything you put on there has a chance to be irritating to the wearer, even an iron-on. Consider putting them like many higher end companies do on the side near the seam by the waist. It’s less irritable there because people generally have other clothes on so it’s not “tag” on skin.
Too bad you couldn’t do like a little button to sew there that said your info. Or a zipper charm for the ones with zippers.

The thing with sublimation on that much cotton, is it would eventually wash out. Even if you used a dark color sub ink 🥴. there are ways to get sub ink to stay in cotton, but I don’t know if it would be ‘quick’. Could you batch embroider your logo on a sleeve, or the bottom of the sweatshirts? That may be best!

As many people have mentioned, best to go with screen print transfers or dtf. The sublimation will wash out after a couple of washes. What they say about sublimation and polyester is the percent content of the garment. So if the shirt contains 40% polyester then 60% of the ink will wash out.

Okay, it's time for me to give advice! Sublimation advice, 100% polyester is best. and you technically can sublimate on that, however it will wash out. Like after a few washes anything that is mostly cotton it will wash out of within 5-6 washes, so while it would work for now it might not be the best in the long run. (I know this because I've done this for some friends and it all washed out into the most faded almost nothing from the original design) What I would possibly suggest is finding a company that can do a DTF transfer for you, that might work better with the material that you're using for the sweaters. Then you can order the transfers in bulk, and put them on the neck or wherever of the sweater. You would still use your heat press to attach them, since in one of your other videos you had mentioned getting a heat press. So yeah, there is an option there!

i like the idea of bundles being 50% off but individual items being 25% off. plus since some of what you do is seasonal, post season sales twice a year with slight discounts will help things move without sacrificing too much profit. you could also keep the super old stuff that didnt sell and continue to put it up because not everyone will have everything. i remember working at bath and body works in 2018 and they sold bottles from previous years and they still sold just fine. sometimes it just takes a minute.
we also say sweater here for everything whether it's knitted unless it has a hood. then its a hoodie.

You could with your cricut use iron on fabric vinyl and use your bunny as a logo to put there- with the industrial heat press you'd even have a much bigger guarantee of it lasting.
And if your cricut isn't up to the task you could always get a company to produce the iron on vinyl for you- costs would be a lot smaller compared to patches. That way anyone with sensory issues or who don't like labels (me and mum cut that stuff off all the time) around the neck wouldn't have an issue- plus it's much more light weight.
Also I've managed to grab one of the goodie bundles! Yeah finally got one of your stuff after watching for two years.

Sublimation will fade on cotton, you could try DTF transfers or flex foil (HTV) for the name, if you take the right brand you can wash it up to 60-90 degrees celcius without it crackling or removing itself, I use Stahls for baby onesies and such and have some which have been washed weekly for over a year on 60 degrees celcius without it crackling like even a little. The heatpress you've for it is ideal for it as well!

I don't know that the sublimation would work well, especially on anything darker colored. But if you wanted an easy way to test it you could get some infusible ink markers from cricut and see how those turn out. The makers basically have sublimation ink in them.
Maybe there its a way to have a stamp made with your info and use fabric ink/ paint with it?

I understand that probably my opinion doesn't really matter in a way hahaha, but I still wanted to comment on some things the said on the Vlog
    1. the idea of including different types of sweaters in the shop update is really amazing. When I saw you working on the embroidery machine and only say sweatshirts, I was a bit sad since I don't really like wearing them. But I really want the new designs, so I'm excited for sip ups!!!
    2. the bundles are an incredible way to clear inventory and let potential buyers that couldn't afford all the product at regular price support your business.

This is just a suggestion and im so excited to see the sweater launch and mabeyyy buy a few things xxx

Zip ups would be primarily for sleeve designs. And yes, I will get to t-shirts too. My first design is a sleeve design, which won't work for tees. If I get a chest design made too, then I can put it on tees.

Wouldn’t the sublimation tag thing tip it placed on the stretchy neck part?

Sublimation only adheres to polyester fabric. If they're 20% poly, only 20% of the ink will stay in the garment. You could just as easily order screen print transfers for your collar idea though! Sublimation is nice because it fuses into the fibers, where as screen ink sits on top of the fibers, if that makes sense. But people wear screenprint garments all the time, and I've seen branding inside shirts that are screen printed or vinyl, so I know the worry might be an uncomfortable feeling on the collar if you did screens, but I think it might not be noticeable. If you bought a bunch of screens, and didn't like the feeling on the inner collar, you could always move them to the outside bottom hem of the shirt, or outside of the collar. But I don't think 20% poly will give you even a passable result. It'll look mediocre at first, and be 80% gone after the first wash.

Sublimating would be really difficult. You would need to do DTF because of the high % of cotton to make the sublimation last and be crisp. I think embroidery your name would be less time consuming and look better in the end.

you can always make some of the tshirt designs into stickers! some of the strawberry stuff would b v cute and offer a diffrent pricepoint. And i don't know if you wanna do a halloween launch stationary wise but you can always start on that

Either embroidery signature or sublimation name. Anything is better than those white tage which i immediately cut out cause they itch and scratch

I was wondering, would you sell the bunnies ornament individually ? It should be a nice way to sell them without lowering too much the price, and still make it more affordable that the pack of 4 ?

Gah if shipping to the uk wasn’t so much I would have bought the witch hat bundle when that came out, can’t believe the keyring is now going to be in a bundle and again I can’t get it, curse those who decide the prices of shipping!!!

The sublimation will definitely fade after a couple washes. Screen print transfers are the way to go.

That loveseat looks so cool, but from the little clip you showed the bottom mechanism looks kinda scary. I'd be paranoid my cats would sneak underneath it (because they totally would) and I'd crush them with it.😨

I'm in the east and there's usually a distinction between sweater/sweatshirt/hoodie etc. Maybe this is a west coast thing or a Baylee-ism! lol Not that it really matters anyway it's clothes meh. That love seat thooo! It has lights! I still love LEDs/RGB I don't care my computer lights up electric blue and I have neon pineapple and flamingo lamps 😂.

I was wondering if they are actual “sweaters” or are sweat shirts like Canadians say pencil crayons instead of colored pencils. Ok…I just heard your explanation but a sweater to me in the US is something too fancy and 🧶 yarn.

Definitely we say 'sweater' too lol. But my sister and I run a custom shirt business and now I'm starting to call them 'crewnecks' because that's how they're labelled when we order the wholesale products. 😂 I'm in Ontario btw.
