we have several set-up,,, drop shotting we currently using thr okuma matrix and pulse rods with epixor reels 8 and 11ft rods 30 and 55reels

In sa we refer to this using a soft plastic with jighead for saltwater water as drop shot, overseas dropshot is associated with bass fishing where a weight is attached to a leader or mainline and soft plastic is above

In my country its not dropshot also. We call it casting. In this type of spot we do it with poping floating lures. Dropshot we do it on boat or kayak by only dropping the jighead in water
