    Great to see someone actually demonstrate this. I saw Floyd play Echoes in early 1972 and watched Gilmour doing that whole seagull sequence on the guitar. Watched him from maybe 25 feet away. Been telling people for more than 50 years he did it with the wah but almost no one believes me.

    cool, i tried this once about ten years ago is kinda like a theremin, reminds of the whale sound on the warmth song by incubus they use a lot of fx maybe this how they did that . i got a good faux mbv sound at the time too using reverse delay, gated verb and big muff. and of course using the trem arm. or vibrato as should be called.
    nice album that pink floyd i remember listening to that at uni '05 and said a mate its notable as the album they made before 'Dsot moon and he was like no there another one. we were both right there is another obscured by clouds but is sort of a soundtrack than a studio album. reminds me i need a wine rack. 😀

    you should get yourself a ram's head big muff reissue, the pedal David Gilmore and J.Macis used, I also Got my Myself A Green Russian Big Muff Reissue that Gilmore also used
