i am a guitar player for a little over 56 years and a few weeks ago i bought a recorder to figure out Ruby Tuesday thinking , ok how hard can this be , a simple flute , guess what , WRONG , its damn hard and this girl here amazes me
Playing on the street is one of the most sincere and authentic ways! Well done !If you have enough to eat and can play all day then you are the happiest woman in the world! Go on and god bless you
This is great! I love that you're so confident to play the recorder on the street. It is an amazing instrument. And you play very beautiful. As a tip for an improved sound an better finger agility: sometimes your posture seems a little bit tense. Your left pinky is rolled in and your elbows are very close to your body. You can change that by holding the instrument a little bit higher. Then your right thumb and your mouth should be able to balance the instrument and that enables the rest of your hand to relax :D
My best guess is that is an old Hohner, plastic one, that was broken around the foot zone. It still looks broken but the carvings help to disguise the crack where the instrument was hit.
It's written at 2:46 in the video. The songs are Eanáir and The Strayaway Child. Edit: Though when searching for it, I find the first one to be more known under the name Lord Mayo.
The bottom 2 holes are singles, rather than double holes. You can still play the C# and D# but you need to half hole those bottom ones, so it's a bit trickier. Also, it looks to have German fingering. It is still a recorder though. :D
I don’t know what’s with all the finger wiggling and notes. Everyone knows you’re supposed to blow as hard as you can while your teachers yells at you to play hot cross buns.
@@malinhurtadomacario263 just an ignorant person who does not understand authentic folk music and the talent of this young lady playing it to unappreciative passersby who complain that it interferes with their cellphone call. Her delightful music should brighten anyone's day.
The recorder is so underrated. So much great music comes from this simple instrument.
I Will Always Support Street Musicians
She plays very well! I've been thinking buy a recorder and learn how to play it.
just buy it already it is super cheap... and fun to play (once you get a hang on it). There are NOW tons of material on youtube.

I love this folk music. Very talented.
I love your music. You have a brazilian fan now
Maravilhoso e harmonioso toque festivo e alegre desse lindo instrumento, tocas com elegância e talento. Brilhante jovem musicista.🎺🎶💙👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing. Her talent can't be measured with money
But she can't pay her rent with notes on the recorder.
Parabéns! Eu também já toquei flauta doce assim, na porta do metrô de São Paulo, Brasil. Sucesso para você!
it sounds wonderful Lucia !!
This is beautiful.
some killer skillzz there !

LIndo tema, e a musicalidade dessa flauta é incrível!
Lucia, you were fantastic and if I had come across you playing, not only would I have put money in your beanie, I would have stopped and listened.
Me tooooooo!!
It looks easy, but I promise you people it is not!
As someone who had to play it in elementary school I'm well aware of it
@@youzettasonsofdigits1639 as post black belt recorder I also very aware of it. Sadly, Most people don't aware of it

Beautiful music! Where does it come from?
I tip in a virtual 20p ;-) ... well done, lovely stuff
Nice I like it
I'm just upset how little she made. Insulting
Speed Stacking Maniac agree
Sadly, if she played popular tunes she would make money.
Makes me want to watch reruns of "The Tudors"..Nicely done..Thanks,,now where is my maid Maryon?
Lunasa's Eanair, very well played
Very lovely video.
I hope this "new world" let you continue do this street performance...
Love from France ♥
Beautiful 😍
Hermosa
Beautiful girl and music! Was the second a strathspey?🙏🙏🙏
Great playing . Thx and Greetings from siyotanka4you
Amazing...
AMAZING
Wonderful~!
what is this music?
In the brief times there were shots of the instrument, the finger hole pattern looks quite penny whistle like. Is it an old style recorder?
I am pretty sure this is not a recorder.lt’s playing music suited to the whistle and has a sound nothing like a recorder but very much like a whistle.
@@stringthing593 Yes. Maybe there is a translation problem.
Wow!
Fantastic
Amazing
go for it !
good goood 10000000000000/10
I really should practise more ...
😍
Can anyone name the tunes? The first one is especially snappy!

Does anyone know what piece this? Or pieces?
Sounds irsh-isk in the beginning - not sure about the middle part - but irish at the end? Nice tune.
May the piper ye we'll be heard.
How can I find this song?
What recorder' brand is that one? Hohner? Yamaha? ....?
My best guess is that is an old Hohner, plastic one, that was broken around the foot zone. It still looks broken but the carvings help to disguise the crack where the instrument was hit.
Amazing :), do someone knows the name of the song???
It's written at 2:46 in the video. The songs are Eanáir and The Strayaway Child.

Great
Which recorder?
Made my feet Dance.
The instrument appears to have only 6 holes. Is it a recorder?
I can see 7 holes plus a thumb hole, so yes!
It is missing the bottom holes. Would this still be considered a recorder?
The bottom 2 holes are singles, rather than double holes. You can still play the C# and D# but you need to half hole those bottom ones, so it's a bit trickier. Also, it looks to have German fingering. It is still a recorder though. :D
I could have stopped to listen and put $ in the basket too
Tocas increíble, podrías decirme en modelo de flauta?
Poiseh yo tambien queria saber
👍❗👍 привет из Киева
What type of recorder is this?
Sylvia Van Lingen its a normal recorder but it’s just shaped differently I thinkk
Bottom part missing
You’re a beautiful woman
I’ll Venmo you...
she plays very well but maybe it would have been better if she played along with a music track.
Pray This: JESUS, I Trust In YOU!
JESUS SAVES!
The only thing i learnt was hot cross buns lol
I thought this was a joke video at first. Woulda lost it if she'd opened with hot cross buns.
I don’t know what’s with all the finger wiggling and notes. Everyone knows you’re supposed to blow as hard as you can while your teachers yells at you to play hot cross buns.
if there was a piano playing jingle bells then it would be a money rain! Just kidding... maybe.
I would have given you all of my money, cara mia.
Wanna get skinny? Play a recorder for money!
If you want to make money, sadly I think you must play popular tunes. The public give for corny music. If you just want to practise, that's fine.
She is nice-looking. That is the only reason why I would stop to watch.
Some melodies just don't deserve to ever be played... what a insufferable music.
What do you mean? I see a lot of comments like this, but I cant understand, can you explain me why? Sorry 😅
?????
