Is there a reason you didn’t tell the seller about it and have them take care of it?

In custom work there's always some fabrication involved. I guess at the end of the day it's just easier/faster for me to solve the problems myself then to go through the hassle of someone else trying to solve them for me. It's hard to say that all the parts on our fifty + year-old car are factory and OEM. This is a real world experience showing what we went through to make this inexpensive eBay kit work for us.

@@ROCKBOTTOMCUSTOMS I understand your point, but I would encourage you to think of this point as well: it’s possible that the manufacturer of the part or kit has a manufacturing problem without realizing it because everyone fails to report issues (like you did). They can tell new customers they have never had a problem with their kits. Then a less experienced guy buys the kit and can’t get it to work, and the company tells him it’s his fault because they have never had a problem.
I think the bottom line is, companies are making a living off of selling parts. It’s their duty to make damn sure they fit and work. They won’t know there’s a problem if no one reports it.
Like I said, I do see your point. I hope you can see mine. And I’m also thanks for making the video in the first place. It’s cool to see our old Mopars getting fixed and upgraded. Mopar to ya…
