As usual I must apologize for the delay in releasing a new video, but surely that is expected by now. I know some people aren't going to like this video or the concept behind it (not to mention the execution) and despite a ton of work it is still a bit messy but I really just have to move on at some point. There are a lot of concepts to cover and there will probably be two more half hour episodes to finish out the suspension work. I'm daydreaming about getting back to editing simple videos again but right now this big project needs to be seen through (for once). Thank you very much for sticking around through all the delays and periods of silence, I really appreciate every one of you!
Firstly stop apologizing for delays, your awesome and everyone will wait for the great content! Now, my story time. My first project car is my now complete 1967 Camaro. Nothing special about the car but it is now :). One of my biggest experiments and learning moment was when one day working on it my father in-law (a former racer) walked over with a rack and pinion which was hanging on the wall. My brother in-law said "bump steer" and that took us hours of measuring to determine it was good or bad. Satisfied the last piece was to commit and cut the column to add a D shaft and u-joints. Complete with the modification and very excited I jumped in and turned the wheel. My excitement turned to horror as when I turned left, the wheels went right. Doh! Front steer vs rear steer, pinto vs omni, etc etc, beer time and a few laughs later, I ordered the flaming river kit. Love watching your projects! Thank you!

I really liked the ending of the video when you had a kind of heart-to-heart about building this car for you and not other people. I feel like in today’s culture especially on the internet, people are constantly critical of the creative decisions of other people, and need to hear what you said. If you don’t like what someone else is making, that’s ok. They aren’t making it for you, they are making it for them.
this car screams Mad Max to me and it makes me love this car even more. it has been a good long while but I'm happy this episode came out, I know a Mad Max style Firebird probably isn't the look you are going for but man this car looks insane. I love it! Beautiful car!
I'm really REALLY glad you're doing what you want instead of what the trends and other people's tastes want you to do! It's that kind of hot-rodding, resto-modding, car building, whatever you want to call it, that makes the hobby/profession SO diverse and so much fun for people to enjoy. I really like your thought process and your thrifty/macguyver approach to your projects while still delving into technical detail sometimes. Love your videos and I hope you keep them coming!
I felt the same about the height of my “65” GTO,I wanted ride height to be about two inches higher so I changed out my springs front & rear. The front coils I was able to buy thru my local speed shop & the rear coils I used rear coils from a junk yard Cadillac, shortened them, heated about a half coil cherry red & bent that coil to fit the GTO rear end mount. All done this gave me a great ride & the two inch front & rear lift I was looking for! There was enough room in front end adjustment to get the perfect alignment. The ride & handling was better than factory & it looked great!
Almost looks like a Gambler 500 car after the work. It's not a style I'd have built, opting more for the resto-mod daily driver that you mention at the end of the video. But as always the amount of planning and work you put into this set of alterations was fantastic! I enjoyed it immensely with my Sunday morning caffeine!
Would I do this to my own car? No. Do I enjoy watching you do it to yours? Yes. Do I like that you've built something unique that you love? Hell Yes! Keep doing what you're doing, I think it's brilliant.
It’s not the build I like per se, but the way you find solutions to get a very complex project done in a normal shop, with normal tools, a realistic budget, humor, and watching you truly enjoy what your doing means more. So many UA-camrs get to a point where they have every tool, a dream shop, and yet they hate what they’re doing and you can tell it in their videos. I guess I’m trying to say I love the genuineness of your content. Thanks!
These videos are always worth the wait! I'd much rather have this level of content/presentation over any rush job to meet some truly irrelevant deadline. Quality over quantity! And these always deliver, never disappoint!
I really get your message there at the end, I've had people tell me my projects are stupid, or a waste of time before, or that I should spend my money they they would spend their money. But personally I ENJOY spending like $4,000 on parts for a 32 year old truck with 207k miles on it that I dragged out of a field, and this is something I do for my enjoyment so screw off
I am now fully vested in this build! This is EXACTLY the look I love on these cars. I did a '74 Dart Sport like this in the 80's using 3/4 ton IH spring leafs added to the rear and longer torsion bars.. Great job!
This channel is just the best. It has come so far along over the years, that I subbed at I believe around 8k subs, and still enjoy watching your videos, as you're very informative, and very smart when it comes to working on cars. I remember the v8 swap in the blazer working with not a lot of tools that you have nowadays. You my friend have come so far in this channel, and to that hats of to you!
This might be the first time I've ever seen a high-car appreciator online. I personally really like the look of low and high cars, so it's refreshing to finally see a UA-cam project where they aren't going as low as possible. I think a 70s muscle car is the perfect choice for this style, kinda makes me want to see some dirt racing lol. Keep up the great work!
I have a 77 F-Body Camaro that the previous owner lowered 2” and frankly the 3/4” ground clearance from exhaust to ground doesnt make driving it fun. And seeing this video is giving me the confidence to try to raise it up (even if its ruining the expensive suspension they put onto it)

One of the best parts about your videos is you making the changes you want, rather than whatever is the trend. I think the car looks awesome lifted like that, but the fact that it doesn't matter what I think is great. Keep doing you. 😊
I fell asleep after watching this partially and I had a dream I was resizing the holes to fit the new taper of the spindles. Glad to see I retained the information despite not having that car. Thank you for the entertaining videos I love this series.

Then as the video progressed I saw how much of a labor of love it was and your closing section at the end really cemented it for me. Thanks for the reminder of what's important on project cars. I also kinda dig how it looks now, I'm not gonna lie 😅
I like it. It makes me think of a few G Body cars that were not exactly lifted, but definitely higher than normal that I used to see around. I’m looking forward to see where this goes! I love your presentation! One of my favorite channels!!! Keep up the good work
I have a 79 Camaro, have had the car for 22 years now. I dropped the front 2" and lifted the back 1" to fit skinnies in the front and fat tires in the rear on 15" wheels. I like the classic muscle car look. For the life of me, I can not grasp the desire to lift the front. BUT I can respect your desire to make it how you like. I enjoyed the in depth video of your work. Wasn’t totally into it at the beginning of the vid. Now I kinda dig it. It’s different in a good way. That’s what this community is lacking in recent years. Good job and keep it up.
Absolutely love that outro! I’m so tired of people saying why wouldn’t you have done it like this, or why didn’t you it like that. My response is always because this is how I want my car.
The reason I subbed so many years ago was because you try things often things people tell you not to, and what you do is different and a bit crazy. In a sea of same old car UA-camrs, you do you and that’s awesome 👏
Every time i see you upload a new vid feels like want cry, but its for the happiness to see u again, i really like your content the form you doit wat u do everything, its difficult for me write in english but i wanna let you know you are my pref youtuber. Hugs from Argentina. Nunca cambies!!
This car is turning into an absolute monster and I love every aspect of it, I wanna call it mad max but it’s gonna end up a lot cleaner than that and reminds me of the early 70s street freak cars. Your in-depth videos help me a lot with confidence when it comes to taking on my own project. keep up the good work and honestly the months long delay between videos is fine, your production value is well worth it.
I love how most people would lower the car and your like screw it let’s lift the thing! Love it as I’m a 2002 blazer owner doing a 4.8ls swap and done custom work to my suspension!
Well said at the end. I wasn't sure about this at the beginning of the video but at the end it looks better than i pictured. Definately cool and unique
Haters gonna hate. Your videos are always well thought out and well presented. It's obvious that a lot of effort goes into them. You're building the car you want with your own money and time. Like you said in the outro, if people don't like it, they can go build their own car. Thanks for the update. I'm interested to see how this ends up.
I'm always excited to see your vids come up on my feed. You do you, take all the time you need. We're all fighting our own battles. No need to rush on our account.
This randomly came across my feed. Was skimming through it thinking "oh that's kinda neat, lifted firebird probably has a 350 in it" then I saw the blower sticking out after you dropped the rear end and boy, am I now excited to see where this goes!

Glad to see you back man! Totally understand the delays no need to apologize! These projects to take a lot of time and sometimes life just happens.
Glad you're back and that you're still around!
I never thought this build could get any cooler, holy crap
It is always a great day to see an upload from this fantastic dude!
I love your videos, thank you for continuing to post instead of just giving up like other channels ive watched over the years
I love how most people would lower the car and your like screw it let’s lift the thing! Love it as I’m a 2002 blazer owner doing a 4.8ls swap and done custom work to my suspension!
Well said at the end. I wasn't sure about this at the beginning of the video but at the end it looks better than i pictured. Definately cool and unique
I LOVE the outro! Man i get so excited when i see u posted. Thank u for bringing us along on ur journey!
You have the perfect attitude about personal cars. Also, You cram more info into an hour video than anybody I know. Well done.
Ahhh I've been waiting this all month, but uts worth it. An hour of masterpiece. Good to see you back sir! I lost count about how much I checked your channel hoping for a new video to pop up. But its okay.

Glad to see you post, and throw some money at it. It’s your build and we’re along for the ride. Enjoying it! Keep it up bro!!
I'm more of a lowered car guy but that looks amazing! Good idea.
Dude the outtro spot on!
WAIT you mean your building it for ME.
You have baffled so,so many sheeple.
Wasn't sure about it until you had it done. With a set of beefy tires, that thing will look badass
Always enjoy your videos. Build what makes you happy. I’m a Jeep guy so I always go for lifted over slammed. 👍
Hey man, you lift that firebird to the sky. It's your damn car, what's important is that it makes you feel good.
As soon as i saw you posted a new video i got super excited and instanly started watching! im super invested in your channel
I Absolutely LOVE IT!!! I can see the vision! Can’t wait to see it finished!!! But loving the Journey! The only thing that would take this build to the next level is a 4 Speed!!!
This makes me think back to that burnout video when you hinted at this idea I’m glad you made it happen :) I’ve loved following this channel I always watch your videos as soon as they come Out! Keep it up man! Looking forward to more content!
Very glad to see another upload. When it goes this long my greatest fear is that you walked away. Hope you are well, this little corner of the internet is here for you.
I really enjoy the content you share with your audience. I’ve watched some of your videos multiple times. I don’t think people realize the amount of work that goes into making every episode. Keep up the good work!
Man I sure did love the height at the end. what a look.
This firebird is the coolest damn project Ive seen in my life. So unique, and it's going to be absolutely killer to see this thing drive. Love the project!
Glad to see you’re still creating and wrenching for you! Great vid man!
Fully agree. Your car, your style. I like it - another great video that made an hour go by really fast

1 hour of pleasure. Thank you and well done
it aint my thing but its still so awesome lol. seeing a blown lifted firebird at cars and coffee would make me smile.
You know what I think it's a bit funny like everyone but now I think it honestly looks badass love the car man
Great video. That was definitely one hell of a rabbit hole. It looks great
Хоть у нас и нет таких автомобилей, но различные технические решения подсмотреть всегда интересно. Спасибо, что вы есть, спасибо, что делитесь своим творчеством.
This isn't my normal car content at all since I'm very much a conesseur of Japanese and lowered cars but this was so detailed and entertaining I am really looking forward to watching you keep working on this thing!
Hell yeah to the gambler level lift, absolutely love it
The sketchiest automotive channel on UA-cam, and I love it.
Can't wait to watch this later! Thanks for uploading!
as a person who lives out in the country and loves hotrods a lifted muscle car like that is something ive always wanted to see and do.
I love it! I have a 4 door 72 Chevelle and have a similar vision in my head. I’m again inspired.
Dude! I'm digging it! I'm all about the odd ball builds.
What you just did is an abomination and I’m all for it. Your monologue at the end is just about spot on what I was thinking. Looking forward to seeing it driving again.
I have been dreaming about what I would do to my own firebird if I ever got one and a lift was definitely on my list. I’m so glad that someone feels the same as me 😂
Bro you are more of an engineer than mechanic... Keep up the great work
Good for you. Love to see you embracing your choices.
That lift is awesome! Really like the hight you got it to! Keep it up!
You should get some big off road tyres for it would be really cool
This thing looks like a hot wheels car and i love it
